TUESDAY JANUARY 22ND UPDATE ON TWIST OF FATE SEASON 2

Simonika telling herself that she wants Abhi dead and blames him for being responsible as she lost someone because of him. Pragya calls electrician and asks him to come home and tells that electricity is coming in all water tap. He says he is in New Mumbai and will take 2 hours to come. He asks her to handle till then. Mitali says you came so early. Raj jokes. Abhi brings woman home and tells Dadi that someone tried to kill him and the woman saved her life. He asks Raj to call doctor. Dadi asks Abhi to tell him everything that happened. Abhi tells them that when he was returning from designer shop, someone shot at him, but Munni saved him. MONDAY JANUARY 21ST 2019 UPDATE ON GANGAA

Janvi is excited about going on a bus. Ganga notices Pulkit. I want to say something important. Madhvi tells her to keep the bags in the bus first. Later, check if Maharaj ji has got the food ready. Amma ji and Madhvi request Niru again to come with them. Niru agrees. Ganga knows Madhvi does not want her to tell BHaiya anything. How do I tell him then? Sagar notices her tensed. He taunts her for challenging him. She calls out for Pulkit. I will tell now. It isn’t late. Sagar covers Ganga’s mouth so she could not tell the truth to Pulkit. Pulkit tells them to come before papa comes. He sits in the bus.

Sagar removes his hand from Ganga’s mouth. He teases her for failing again. They share an eye lock as they stand very close to one another. Ganga wonders what happens to her whenever Sagar stands close to her. I am speechless every time. Sagar and Sahil notice Ganga trying to open the food box. Sagar steps forward to help her. An insidious force has crept into our lives over the last 10 years. It is made worse by the fact that it is rarely questioned & has rapidly become a deeply entrenched institution in our everyday lives. The mere suggestion of taking it away would be met with outrage — you would not only be taking away one of our main activities, but a large part of our individual identity by doing so.

Social media, positively touted as “connecting the world” by its proponents, such as Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, has created a crisis in modern society. I use the word crisis very deliberately here.

According to recent statistics, an average 15–60 year old Nigerian spends over 2 hours per day on social media. Most people spend 4 hours a day on social media — young people spend 9 hours. 87 percent of people wake up and go to sleep with their smartphones.

Just the presence of a smart phone reduces cognitive functionality, even when it’s off. Our average attention span is now 8 seconds. The more you use social media, the less happy you are.

In contrast, however, no digital marketer, communication executive or brand manager will vehemently oppose social media because it plays significant positive roles in creating awareness, building brands, boosting reputation and sales, among others.

The success stories of many multinationals in some departments could be attributed to the role of social media. These communication tools have, however, been bastardized in many ways than one.

A 25-year-old man, identified as Ifenna Obi has stabbed his brother, Rapuruchukwu to death at the popular Eke Umudike fish joint in Nnewi South LGA, Anambra State.

cfrmagazine.com gathered that Ifenna stabbed the victim more than 5 times with a broken bottle in different parts of the body on Sunday night.

According to an eyewitness, the suspect (Ifenna) reportedly misplaced his Mobile Phone at the joint and one Nonso Atueyi found it and started searching for the owner.

The suspect approached Nonso who was sitting with the deceased (his brother) to claim the ownership of the phone but the deceased told him to mention five names in his contact list to make sure he's actually the owner.

It eventually resulted in a fight. The suspect immediately grabbed a bottle of beer, broke it and stabbed the deceased in the throat. He died instantly.

Relatives and residents told cfrmagazine.com that the suspect had always threatened to kill the deceased whenever they had disagreements.

He carried out the threat around 9pm at the drinking joint.

He was immediately arrested and handed over to the police.

When contacted, the DPO Ukpor Police Station, SP Lucky confirmed the killing and said his men has apprehended the suspect and the deceased has been taken to the mortuary.

He however stated that investigation has commenced as what let to the unfortunate incident is still sketchy.

Meanwhile, the suspect would've been lynched by the angry mob if not for the timely intervention of the Police

A man was caught with someone else wife in Edo state and jungle justice meted out to him immediately.

According to a Facebook user who shared the story on Friday night, the unknown man who suspected that his wife was having extramarital affairs devised a plan and finally caught them.

What started like a joke earlier today suddenly spread like a wildfire across Anambra state when it was reported that 3 pupils died after they were forcefully injected with a substance by some people dressed like soldiers at unknown school.

It was earlier reported that the incident happened at Etiaba memorial grammar school but when our correspondent got to the alleged scene, nothing like that was happening but some soldiers were seen parading the area.

In a quick reaction, the Anambra state government said it's an on going medical outreach being undertaken by the Army and advised the military for immediate stoppage of the medical outreach until wide sensitization is conducted to reassure people of its intentions and benefits.

"The attention of the State Government has been drawn to an on going medical outreach being undertaken by the Army in Ozubulu, Ekwusigo Local Government Area.

"The State has been made to understand that the exercise is part of Army social responsibility to members of the public.

"However, strong apprehension among the populace has followed the exercise leading to withdrawal of students from schools by parents, misconception of the actual motive behind the exercise by stakeholders, community leaders and a general reservation by the public for whom the outreach is intended.

"To this end and to ensure no further escalation of the situation, His Excellency the Governor, Chief Willie Obiano has contacted the Army Authorities and advised for immediate stoppage of the medical outreach until wide sensitization is conducted to reassure people of its intentions and benefits. The exercise has therefore been put on hold.

"Parents and guardians are strongly advised to stop withdrawing their wards from schools as the situation has been handled. All schools within the State will remain open as there is no cause for alarm! Community leaders, Presidents General and all Stakeholders are hereby reassured of the commitment of the Governor and the State Government to the wellbeing of Ndi Anambra.

"The State Government also strongly condemns observed rhetorics on social media completely misrepresenting the situation with insinuations of spread of diseases and death of students in schools arising from the exercise. The State categorically refutes these rhetorics and confirms that there is no death of any student anywhere in the State. Mischief makers are warned to desist from spreading falsehood. Anambra remains calm and peaceful!"

Some members of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra were killed after a combined team of the Nigerian Army, the Police and the DSS invaded the home of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu on Thursday in Ibeku, Afalakwu kingdom, Umuahia, Abia state.

According to reports, the security operatives killed many of the IPOB members who have been staying with their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and carried away the dead bodies.

Daily Sun reported that soldiers who invaded the residence of the IPOB's leader ransacked every part of the house and desecrated the palace of his father, the traditional ruler.

In a video clip shared online, they shot themselves through to gain entry into the highly secured and fenced compound having dislodged the human barricade that is always present at the gate and house of the IPOB leader.

A source said that about 18 people lost their lives during the invasion which occurred in the evening.

The whereabouts of the IPOB Leader is still unknown as all his numbers and that of his personal assistants are still switched off.

Kanu's younger brother who recorded one of the videos was heard saying, "they took away my parents, I don't know if they're still alive."

On Wednesday, the entire world was shocked after a video of Nigerian soldiers torturing members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) emerged online.

The video was shared but was removed by YouTube.

The soldiers forced the IPOB members to drink a mud water after some series of tortures but it seems the victims were not deterred by all that happened as they still proclaim that "it's either Biafra or death."
