Politics / Re: EndSARS: Lawal Gusau Reports Feminist Coalition To DSS by kizwal: 6:02pm On Nov 16, 2020 |
The level of poverty, corruption, impunity, insecurity and everything that signifies backwardness, in this land is astronomical and when questions are asked for more responsibility from the leadership, it is turned to a joke by the same government and their cronies, all in the name of free speech. Ever wonder why their sincerity is always in doubt. 1 Like |

Nigeria has lost all that made it a country well respected due to terrible leadership...in every department of statehood as football/sports has not been spared either... never been this bad and better yet no immediate sign of recovery judging by recent developments from the decision makers. No country respects or fears us again. It's even very unfortunate that the present government seems to have no clue to solving these issues or are just not bothered as the masses can continue to suffer in more poverty and loss of self dignity. 1 Like |

Arise TV interviewed him live on their 9pm news bulletin last night for almost 10 minutes, watch the whole interview then you see that a man cried as he did everything to try convince the public that he meant something different. He even admitted that he had over reacted by making such an emotional presentation on the floor of the state assembly as he would have used better words to express himself. To think this is an example of a youth in politics, sometimes silence is really golden. |
Crime / Re: Aftermath Of Lekki Shootings & Looting: Lekki Becomes A Shadow Of Itself (Video) by kizwal: 12:49pm On Oct 23, 2020 |
CCTV cameras could fish out these guys, undercover intelligence agents used to get these guys and get their sponsors. These attacks on specific government assets were obviously sponsored. The looting of shops are guys that can be picked by the snap of the finger if you are serious because they will sell or flaunt their loot.People took loans, local contributions. People need to know there would be consequences for such behaviour, serious consequences. There is more to these attacks in Lagos,it was very very organized and specific...very coordinated and swift leaving no traces of their footsteps.. Professional job. Politicians are definitely in the know of these attacks. Then why Prisons?...These area boys are not ghosts. Get these guys, get them and their sponsors , people can't just these things and have peace while the majority of the law abiding people are in misery. These gory sights does have far reaching implications than any of us can ever imagine..gosh!! |

No wonder we remain pawns in the hands of these politicians. When they loot our common wealth they're Nigerians but when we are supposed to confront them they remind us of our different tribes and with the mindset displayed here,we are already at their beck and call for cheap hire . Kaycee who we honour here is even married to an Akwa ibom/Cross Rivers state lady..Emem. He is detribalised while we who celebrate him are so about tribe. We are not ready. 2 Likes |

Can you imagine? His health oh. If real sickness now comes what will he say. How shameless. Last time he walked out, today now this. You don't use your health to lie. Nigeria is in trouble. The Niger Delta is messed up. The Niger Deltans are their own enemies, they shouldn't expect any foreigner to fix that region for them because they are not ready...greed and hate mixed with so much poverty and few self styled political thieves who lord themselves over the majority and only teach the youths how to be political thugs/cultists instead of industrialising that region. None of the elders has even come out to say anything or should I say the militants? Akpabio should also form a faint.. just look at a grown man..a Professor on national TV. His replies were incoherent and evasive. I wish him speedy recovery. 3 Likes |

These retired Generals and the Politicians have looted Nigeria massively. You see why no country respects us again. Human lives are wasted daily albeit unnecessarily, due to the ineptitude of our leaders and some.people paid or not, believe those lives don't matter..they shouldn't worry, someday soon may be when they personally experience the feeling of those who have lost loved ones in this process, they will have a rethink. |

Politics / Re: Nigeria Admits Error Over Ghana Demolition by kizwal: 4:52pm On Jun 27, 2020 |
This Minister obviously has no idea of superior diplomacy or foreign policy affirmation. Admitted that we exported our non challant attitude to not doing the right thing with the documentation but with the international clout of a country like Nigeria as against Ghana(irrespective of past glory or not),you don't come to the public to admit this. Before one will compare ourselves to the US and so?,were it not for our inept leaders, you dare not try this even when they're wrong. It is an embassy, like a foreign territory,at best they would out of respect contact our government and everything would be corrected but having the effontery to enter upon and drive bulldozers through, then this Minister saying but we are at fault.. wonderful!. These clueless ignorant ruling class is really our bane. |

Romance / Re: Chai! Nigerian Girls In Canada Are So Lonely! by kizwal: 2:22pm On Apr 09, 2020 |
...You got a lot of mature intelligence.. author=madridsta007 post=88253201] It is the Diaspora at large but the case of Canada is particularly striking as the weather, distance between cities, etc make socialising very difficult. We must say the truth as it is. Nigerian girls, who are not used to approaching a man, struggle in the area of a relationship if based in the Diaspora. 1. They are not used to approaching a male. 2. They are not the first of the pick when a responsible Nigerian man-and there are few of this category- is looking to marry. The Nigerian female in the diaspora competes with the white girls, black British/Canadian/American girls who are citizens, other black African girls who are argurably more submissive and, if they are from the Southern part of Africa, we know how their physical structure are . Also, the Nigerian guy would prefer to travel to Nigeria and find a bride based in Nigeria. We know this happens. 3. The Nigerian lady makes a lot of money and because of their hard work, do super well in their career. This is actually commendable. However for most humans, this sadly comes with arrogance, the inability to cook, near-zero respect, and too many illogical requirements in a man. They become more sensible and rationale when they are 32, 33 years old and it becomes more difficult. I know some that actually move back to Nigeria to try get married. In the end, they struggle. Hence you see them on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, you see them as feminists, etc. Loneliness and depression sets in and, because of pride and the fake strong personae they have built, they dont talk. I feel for them but they should know that there is always a way out to amend wrongs. First of all, kill pride. Kill it, it wont help you. When you come off as arrogant to a Nigerian man, African man, his spirit leaves the conversation. You can mock it, call him weak, call him "incapable of handling a strong woman", but it is you that will end up lonely and seeking companionship from YouTube. Next, study the place you want to relocate to. Most people just move without checking. Join and participate in a church, not necessarily student groups as this ends after 1-2 years. Learn how to cook ooo! Make sure you keep and maintain strong contacts in Nigeria. And if you need to take a career break to move to Nigeria to sort out relationship issues, do so. Dont let the good life of the West fool you and make you hit mid-thirties while single. Make a move. That is the point. [/quote] 1 Like |

And who is interested in what effort you are making in trying to convince us about nothing. Just do what a leader should do at times like this after which you can get hundreds of picture albums for yourself. It's either you guys still haven't grappled with the covid-19 pandemic the world is facing / the impending economic woes or you just don't care. Just how selfish or stupid can these guys be to Nigeria. Sad, very sad. |

The reason you are a fan as we all know is when you don't switch allegiance even when your team isn't playing well. As a die hard Man.U..my friends have 'yabbed' be too much but I wasn't bothered even though I wished better for my team. But menh!!!..when I learned a Nigerian ,for the first time was coming to Man.U..i began to boast again. We must always appreciate our own even when they don't seem to do well. A whole club like Man.U sees something good in him and yet we don't. Kelechi even improved at Leicester. Lose or win I just look forward to seeing my country men get regular play times when I watch the EPL...asides the money you never under rate the power of sports. Let's continue to believe in these guys and give them a chance, they compete against the best and other stuffs out there..big ups Ighalo.. it sure feels good supporting a team that has a Nigerian, who also gets regular play time and also hustles to make an impact too..irrespective of whatever, your name will be remembered at Old Trafford. |
Sports / Re: Manchester United Confirms Signing Odion Ighalo (Screenshot) by kizwal: 10:08am On Feb 01, 2020 |
Nigerians should be happy for this guy, haba. Pray that even in retirement he can make some impact in that club because irrespective of man.u's present form it's not easy for an African to wear a man.u jersey. Iheanacho was falling before but a new coach came in and believed more in him and with hard work the guy is picking form. We should always learn to love our own. Ighalo might have retired from the national team but he is still a Nigerian. There is this bias when you are watching a premiership game and a Nigerian is on the pitch wearing the jersey of one of the clubs even of they're not the better team. If only we knew how things we consider little affect us all. 1 Like |

Those vehicles should be Innosin except for the few that might need special features. How do you encourage home grown business and create jobs? Stop expecting foreign investors that are not even forthcoming... except this is a private initiative but if it is government then it should be either or both of Peoguot and Innosin. |

How can one continue to enjoy the perks of an office yet deny to accept the responsibility that comes with such position.....in saner climes you resign at this point since you have become helpless because it means the whole country will remain stagnated or even suffer retrogression because elected people have to just serve their tenures... while the people suffer. What people need are practical solutions felt at the lowest ebb of the survival chain, not excuses. Leadership is not easy but you presented yourself as the solution and was elected,so you work. |

These guys are becoming very sophisticated so one has to be very cautious and offcourse never be greedy. If you have fallen a victim to a scam before of your hard earned money, then you can relate. |
Family / Re: My Rich Brother Does Not Care About Us.... by kizwal: 4:23pm On Oct 27, 2019 |
Life? My siblings did same and more, but my wife who they felt was spending my money was the one defending them, she kept reminding me that there is nothing like family. Today I am wiser and happier I can tolerate my siblings . My wife's family are more in number but if you see the love and respect they have for each other despite their not so money money,I feel lonely and use the wisdom she reminds me of to relate with my siblings. Everything is not about money, there is a generation of their kids. It is not by force, yes but there is nothing in this life. Forgive but keep the lessons,u can be nice and still maintain distance but hmmmm... this life? Old age is lonely, sickness is lonely. When I see my wife's family of 7 and many other outside children coming together in love,I humble myself. That people expect a lot from you don't mean you should be a pariah. The brother I bet you is worried too but pride, then your elder brother....pride and money. Very dangerous. OP I feel your pain, family is not compulsory but Kai family love is so sweet I tell u. Poverty and tough times have affected our values , the future generation might be growing with less love and saying me me my my like white people. Even white people eg Americans during Halloween and Xmas and Thanksgiving don't joke with family. We have different orientations, siblings behave differently but forgiveness and less baggage will make you happy. There is nothing in this life, nothing. Lost our mum over two decades ago and life now 'started'. My pops? Smh. But most times my siblings disrespected and used money to frustrate me, asides my wife consistently singing it in my eyes after being real that my siblings were wrong but please remember that you can choose your friends and not your family. She will tell me that they will hate her that since I really love her and that everyone knows I am principled but nice at heart,I should apply wisdom. It is not perfect but it is working. I always ask myself, how my mom who suffered for us even in death, will feel disappointed in me...I will feel bad but recover...my late mum's thoughts and my wife and ultimately because our kids need to unite and be better achievers than us in future,i will just swallow my pride and my siblings know I just swallowed my pride but I am at peace with my decision. I am still doing very well in life. Family is sweet I tell u again. Retirement and loneliness, memories, friends, neighbors. I don't pity you so much as I pity that your brother, because if it's not money that is motivating you like you said, then you are wiser. I pray you guys can work things out.. your kids all deserve better when they grow.. your mum who is alive can really do something. Forgive but don't forget, nothing dey this life, my brother, nothing. 7 Likes 1 Share |
Family / Re: Sometimes I Regret Marrying My Wife by kizwal: 11:35pm On Oct 24, 2019 |
Its always best to hear the two sides to a marriage issue but if the many cases of violence on your wife's part is true, you guys need some space. The violence isn't good for you or the kids, there is a reason why separation is first recommended by law. Note..it is better when a woman is more interested in saving her marriage because it is natural to them but when it's just the man,you will suffer and be miserable. Take action now,be firm and separate first,so that everyone can evaluate things properly because that violence is very very dangerous ,don't trivialise it. 2 Likes |
