It is very unlikely that they will relax tier 2 system for non medical roles. Supply outside of the the NHS is plentiful and relaxing it will definitely distort the job market.
The two Scala Devs in my office came through Oxford Knight but they were already working in Germany, the QA lady came directly from India but can't remember which recruiter she used either third republic or hays specialist. You can check them out.
If they shut the door, then non EEA will have a better chance but that is unlikely at the moment.
Thanks for the response. will check those firm out as suggested. once again thank you

I have always been following this thread and continually find myself always coming back for updates cos Iam still hoping to join you guys if God allows:
My questions are these:
1. is there any any prospect for a relaxed tier 2 system (for engineers, technical and trades people) following the exclusion of NHS peeps from the monthly caps on tier 2 visas.
2.How effective are recruitment agencies in the recruitment of Engineering personnel from outside the UK.
3. Will Brexit favour non EEA recruitment and settlement in the UK.

Well, its because you Christians are making mockery of Christianity. Tell me if the comments people are making are false? Churches are springing up on daily basis, with false doctrines, breeding hatred and greed among members etc. When people like Freeze try to draw our attention to the wrongs of these 'god of men', its people like you that will still condemn him.

Bottom line, Nairaland Mods are not to be blamed. Your so called Pastors are.
Hmm...There is nothing happening now that had not been predicted and if you are truely a Child of God, guided by the Holy Spirit, you don't need a freeze or what's over to show you the ills of the Church sir. There is a battle on going and you have the choice of being used as a pawn by the kingdom of darkness to further discredit the Light or you become discerning and stay true to God. May I also remind you sir (That is if you are truely a Child of God) that the scriptures also warns that there will be mockers in the last days, I hope you are not one. May the Lord bless you, reveal himself the more to you and enable you to walk the more in understanding with him

You are making no sense.

There's nothing wrong with arguing about Christian practices. That is one thing that irks me about Pentecostal Christians. They can't stand a little argument. What they don't know is they gain more understanding thru arguments and they become wiser. That's why a host of them are sheep. Because they don't think.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. Oga why take offense or resort to insults. Show me a place in scriptures where you are encouraged to 'argue about Christian Pratices'. Or disprove my assertion by showing me here the similarities between Friday's & Sunday's FrontPage topics on NL.
When you were about to comment here, were you asked to recite and swear an allegiance before posting, does that happen elsewhere?
If you want to address an issue, I think we can do it more politely and with decorum, whether Pentecostal or non Pentecostal we will all account to God and if truly you are a Christian you will know that for every idle word, you will give an answer on the last day. God bless you and good morning

Why must controversial topics about Christianity be posted every sunday? Can't the mods just post positive stuffs for Sundays.
This is being insensitive to people's faith, it's an act of extremism from the guardians of this site.
I don't see negative stuffs about Islam on Fridays.
Christians should forget denomination and speak up against this rather than debate this. undecided

Thank you my brother, it is always easy to spot the wrongs in others but NL mods have never been able to address this glaring bias

Every Sunday NL pushes topic that are targeted at ridiculing Christian practises to front page and everyone jumps in to make all manner of comments. However on Fridays, the topics pushed to the FrontPage for Muslims promotes and propagates the faith, you can not even comment without swearing to an oath of allegiance to the Faith. Are NL moderators on a mission against the Christian Faith?
Let every True Child of God reflect on this before promoting or commenting on post such as this lest you join the enemies to pull down the church, yes the Church has its challenges but that is why Christian need to walk with the Lord to be conformed to his image

Nominate Electrician General - 341111 as it is less competitive and its being sponsored by virtually all the states. With it you have all the visa subclasses. Best of luck boss!
Thanks a lot, you are the real boss!

Hi,

I'd advise you go with TRA using your OND/HND qualification so as to gain maximum experience points. With EA, your engineering experience may not start counting until 2016, and you may most likely be assessed as an Engineering Technologist. EA assessment is done mainly in reference to your first degree; your masters degree would be recognised only as further learning which as you rightly said would come under your CPD.

You should contact @Olalekankad and others who have successfully gone through the TRA route for guidance. You may require some supporting documents and your application may be strictly assessed against the requirements for Electrical Trades in Australia. However, I see it as your best and most promising route considering the high competitiveness of the professional occupations. You are also most likely to be nominated by a state if you can get a successful TRA outcome. Considering you have solid experience in Power, I see no reason why you can't get a positive assessment outcome with TRA if you can prove your experience claims.

Best wishes.

Thank you so much, I'd go with your advise now that I can still grab 15pts from age. I hope Mr Olalekankad is still regular on NL, will try and reach him. Once again thank you

I have read through this thread adjust commend the guru's in the house @bellong, mamajaz & co and even those who try to derail the thread, (they have only succeeded in making more people join the conversation & attest to the truth on the thread). I however want to seek your advice on my chances at PR with my details below

Age- 43
Qualifications HND Electrical Engrg 2001, M.Sc (Electrical Power) UK, 2016
Work Experience-15 years plus in Power Distribution & Transmissions Operations in the public sector
I plan on writing IELTS latest April, aiming for 20
Can I assess with EA (Electrical Engineer) with my HND, using the M.Sc as CPD
ET doesn't look good these days or what do you think?
Pls any opinion to guide on this
