The peeled Egusi was going for between N460-N500 per mudu, depending on your negotiating power and the quantity you're buying.
I bought for N480.

The market day is Thursdays for Lambata market, just 30 minutes from FCT.

Good luck.

Its unpeeled and packed in 100kg size 30 bags.

You can't be serious man.

You're price is very very unrealistic, especially for the quantity involved.

Just about 2 weeks ago, I bought 100 mudus of unpeeled Egusi, slightly more than equivalent of 100kg size 30 bags for N15,000 at Lambata market near FCT , and not too far from Kwali.

Business To Business / Seeking Joint Venture Partner For Food Export by Kranium: 11:05am On Feb 18, 2016
At the current exchange rates, exportation has never been more lucrative.

I am a small scale, but experienced exporter and overseas wholesaler of Nigerian Food Items.
I have a large , reliable , and growing customer base in North America.

I want to take my business and to a higher level, and are therefore seeking an joint-venture partner ( only one investor or firm) with N2m to 5m to invest immediately for a 20ft or 40ft container shipment shipping out in within next 30 days.
Turnover time is 4 months. Profit is 200+%.

Serious investor only.

Let's discuss first on bbm or watsapp, then followed by sending you my proposal, and then a face to meeting.

True @ kranium. Thanks for the observation, however the bulk of the buyers don't buy in kilos rather bags. Nonetheless, proper reevaluation will be done, for clarification

However, Next time brother, go easy on the lambasting. Ts too early.

Sorry brother, if I seemed a bit harsh.
I wasn't lambasting you specifically.

I was just expressing my frustrations in dealing with vendors. It's the same everywhere. No one has a universally recognized standard measure of their products.

Just be mindful that people outside of Nigeria are also viewing your threads and posts.

Good luck.

We supply crayfish straight from the Atlantic bank at Oron, Akwaibom state. Produce is properly dried and sandless. A full bag goes for 52-58 fob to any destination in Nigeria. Options of packaging or milling the produce is available. Terms are negotiable
Bigbillbones @gmail.com, 08037589826.

Serious buyers and exporters needed.

Which exporter do you expect to pay you 52-58k per bag without knowing the actual weight of the product in kg or lbs?
How exactly does a person get to know the value of what he or she is buying ?

I still find it hard to believe that in this day and age, people are still referring to big bag, small bag, big basket, small basket, paint bucket, mudu, etc.

What happened to simple kgs and lbs ,terms that are known and understand worldwide ?

How, for example, would an American or European buyer of your product understand what you mean by standard bag ?
Can you visually tell the difference between a your standard bag with with 10kg of crayfish and another filled with 13kg of same crayfish?
You cannot.

Even you buy the Products in baskets or whatever from the farmers or fishermen, it is your duty to package them in standard metric weghts in kgs or lbs, that can be clearly understand universally.

This makes me believe that every Nigerian business is designed so that someone gets cheated.

Coincidentally, from that time 4 months or so ago, that she abandoned this thread.

I didn't want to come online and abuse or malign her , because I still felt that she deserved a small benefit of doubt.

But I have been following the thread to see if anyone has had positive and profitable dealings with her, or see if anyone has had negative dealings with her to confirm my suspicion that she was not a person of high integrity.

Can you explain more on how she was about scamming you so that the reading public will be aware, if possible to track her and get her arrested by efcc angry angry

I contacted her about some of the items she was getting in the North. She told me that she had some stock available which she could deliver to me in Lagos.
I gave her a list of the items.
She responded with prices.
I noticed that her priced were even higher than what we get in public markets in Lagos.
I was kinda surprised because the whole idea of contacting her was to bypass the public markets to get a cheaper price.

After much haggling, she adjusted the prices to where seemed fair, but not as cheap she has made us believe on the threads.

Anyway, the important thing for me was the weights in KG of the items.
This I repeated many many times during the course of our discussions.
So, all prices we agreed upon were based on Kilogram weights.

After much delays, she asked me to come , and gave me directions to pick up the items somewhere in Ogun state.
I used Google maps to check out the location, and saw that , according to Google maps, it is was an isolated place in the middle of a bush.

I refused, and insisted that she deliver it to Lagos ( a mere 1 hour drive ) on a cash and carry basis.
She agreed.

After much delays again, she fixed a date for Saturday morning. We agreed. I was not in Town, but my associate had the cash ready to her upon arrival and inspection.

He waited all day Saturday. She kept phoning to say that she was on the way.
It was around 10:30 pm that arrived at the location with a car full of goods.

As soon as she arrived , she started hurrying because it was late.
The first thing that surprised my associate was the fact that how one car could have carried all the items we had ordered.

When the goods were bought out, he was still trying to figure out where the rest could be.

He knew from experience that what he was seeing could not possibly be worth the amount we had agree.

They insisted on being paid so that they could hit the road because it was very late.
It was then that my associate told them that he would not pay until he weighed and confirmed the weights of each item.
Being already 11pm, he told them come back the next morning so that they could weigh each item, then pay them accordingly.

So, the next morning, they didn't show up.
He went ahead and weighed each item.
And just like he had suspected, each item was less than half of what we had agree upon.
In other words, the items were packed in Lbs rather than in KG.
1 lb is less than half of 1kg.

If he had paid them the night before, we would have lost 300k instantly.
Aside from the weight issue, the quality of the items were terrible.

When I called and informed her, she insisted that it have been her workers that weighed the items in Lbs instead of kilograms.
When I insisted that she bring the bring the correct weight of the items, she opted to come and take the ones she had already delivered.
This, she did the following day.

My associate and I concluded that she deliberately delivered late in the night so that we would not have time to thoroughly inspect the items before paying her, because of the lateness of the night.

If we had paid her that night, we know it would have been impossible to get a penny back.

It's really unfortunate that people have fallen victim to this lady.

We all praised her hardword and doggedness when she opened this thread many months back.

She almost duped me of 300k , if not for the quick thinking of my associate.

I was hesitant about putting a negative comment on this forum , because she claimed it was an error, and also, I wanted to watch and see if anyone else had a negative experiences with her.

With what I am seeing here now, I am beginning to think that my suspicions were right after all, and that she might be a first class criminal.

peeled egusi are sold in mudu not in bag..see picture below how mudu look like..four cup of peak milk makeup of a mudu.

peeled egusi hand peeled go for #570

hand pealed go for #470 per mudu.

Also, what is the weight in kg of each bag?

Thanks.
Religion / Re: BLACKS Or WHITES- Who Are The Ancestors Of Who by Kranium: 5:41pm On Nov 02, 2015

Good day everyone, i'm inviting people of all religion, belief and unbelief to contribute to this- its about how the different races came to be, most especially the black and white races.
I believe knowing how this much difference between Blacks and Whites came about is very crucial to our knowledge and understanding of life, thats why i'm inviting all to be a part of this.
Creationists claim that 'GOD CREATED MAN'- that God created man and woman who became the first parents from which we all emerged from.
Evolutionists claim that we 'EVOLVED FROM LESSER PRIMATES'.
I never heard that God created 2 or more pairs of humans, blacks and whites, we only hear about a pair, thats why i'm stuck with the question of which it was- BLACKs or WHITEs, it cannot be both at a time except the scriptures forgot the other pair or pairs.
Whether man was created or evolved the fact that we're all classified as HUMANS- one race must genetically be parents to the others, which brings us to biology.

Simple biology tells us that the main difference between the blacks and whites is MELANIN, a genetic material responsible for blackness. Thus blacks have plenty of it and whites dont.
If whites have little or no melanin in their genes means they cannot possibly reproduce it and pass to their offsprings, likewise they cannot possibly be ancestors to the black race.
But on the other side of the coin, biology tells us that blacks have dominant dark gene as well as a recessive light gene, which explains why black parents can give birth to light skinned children and albinos that can possibly pass for whites, howbeit the percentage of light skinned people cannot be much in a black community.
We have now established that blacks can possibly reproduce whites, especially if the reproduction follows a trend of light skinned black people.

Then the question- if blacks were ancestors of whites why does history not say so, why is the black man's history so obscure that everything is whitewashed?, also how can there be so many light skinned people even more than blacks?. Was a great percentage of black people genetically tampered with to make whites by someone or something?
Neither Science nor Religion have been clear about this.
So brethren whats happening?

Well , its good to ask questions based on facts.
