This is the kind of topic I like. Support Igbos exiting this long failed British colonial contraption called Nigeria

START BY GETTING THE 18 MILLION IGBOS IN THE NORTH TO RETURN HOME TO THE EAST.

THEN GET THE 18 MILLION IGBOS IN THE WEST TO RETURN TO THE EAST.

OR ARE THEY WAITING TO BE DEPORTED AS ILLEGAL ALIENS ONCE BIAFRA HAPPENS?

SURELY YOU MUST KNOW YOU WILL ALL BE DEPORTED BACK TO IGBOLAND.

SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL START LEAVING NOW INSTEAD OF TYPING RUBBISH ONLINE.

The reason the foreign country and imf is detesting to African country. More taxes and unfavorable policies just so they can gett money loans.

Tinubu is borrowing to buy private jet added to the one buhari borrowed to build niger railway.

Illiterate and ignorant response.

Its very clear that Africans can nor longer forge ahead or run their annual budget without borrowing. For how long will they continue to borrow?. We are not at war yet we are borrowing like a country fighting war from all fronts. Civilization and modernization have consequences. Habe we gotten to the peak where African need to collapse to restart from stage age once again?

Look at what is happening in Kenya. Economy crisis and debts. Similar things to all over Africa.

My friend every country borrows money. Stop disturbing people.

How many times have you seen Afghanistan going to borrow. We need to look inwards. Grow what we eat and consume what we produce even made in Nigerian cars. The problem is we are obsessed with western Goods.

Do you know the Afghanistan’s repaired every single military hardware left behind including helicopters. And another thing because they did not buy things from abroad their currency is the strongest in South East Asia.

''The Taliban's recapture of Afghanistan in August 2021 has had dire economic, political, and security consequences. With the world's lowest living standards, Afghanistan is experiencing ongoing economic, health, and humanitarian crises, and food insecurity is especially acute.''

So many possibilities but white man involvement doesnt stop our people from defeating, as we like to put it, "bandits", from the forests.

But doesn’t it mean the govt is compromised and even complicit?

Are they unaware that these foreigners are involved?

They cannot be unaware. So why are they silent about it?

There is definitely an AGENDA we are not being told about, and it involves the foreigners and the FG working in cahoots.

Even Benin?

At times like this I miss Abacha and other military regimes. None of these countries ever messed with Nigerians during Nigerian military govts, because they knew there would be instant response.

If this was Abacha, just one phone call to that stupid Benin leader ordering him to release that Nigerian man or risk military invasion, would have ended the crisis.

No surprise there at all.

Anyone with a working brain knows that western foreign nations are the ones funding and supporting these terrorist and bandit groups.

These are the same people most Nigerians look up to and consider ‘civilised’, because most Nigerians are lost, brainwashed, bamboozled people.

Don't be stuhpidt,if you claim to have the greatest city in Africa you should be able to show evidence not sketched picture.Where is the ruins of this great city?If you go to Rome,Jerusalem,Istanbul,Egypt etc you will see magnificent ruins of Roman empire which was way older than your bini village witchcraft empire.

Okay below is picture of ancient city of Timbuktu in Mali. They are older than your Bini empire yet it still stands.

People look at this illiterate….

Are you saying there was no ancient Benin City?

Are you saying that all the historians, historical accounts, eyewitness testimonies by Portuguese, Dutch, and British visitors, plus their drawings and the UK Guardian report posted are all lies and fabrications?

All these Europeans from various countries woke up and invented a great African city in midwestern Nigeria where there was none, and fabricated descriptions of it?

What sort of human being is this?

Please answer this question.

Did you pass out of secondary school?

Be honest.

By the time the British invaded in 1897, Benin had terribly declined and deteriorated, it was was no more great or powerful, even smaller local states were harrasing it,not to talk of the British

The transatlantic slave trade, which peaked in the 1700s, was what weakened these African empires.

Even though the Benin kingdom banned all slave-raiding and trading in its realm, it still suffered the debilitating economic effects of the trade on the entire West African sub-region and beyond.

By the time the British got there in 1897, they were long past their prime.

BUT they still had the great city with its tall monuments and structures, and the British were desperate to destroy it all, and removed all signs of precolonial civilisation.

They had to perpetuate the myth that they saved us from barbarism and ‘mud huts’.

Most Forest state africans did not know advanced writing forms, you can't blame them for that, writing spread from the east, then Egypt then to Greece who later spread it to Europe, Europeans didn't develop independent writing ability, why should Africans be blamed for not developing independent writing ability

Writing spread from which “east”?

Dude, BLACK AFRICANS INVENTED WRITING.

In fact, probably thousands of African writing scripts have existed before any “white people” existed.

Black Africans are the world’s ORIGINAL people.

The entire world was black for 100,000 plus years. So called white people, who are just bleached out, albino descendants of ancient African settlers, emerged only 7,000 years ago.

They are newcomers to civilisation.

Do you know a PAINT FACTORY was discovered in South Africa, complete with evidence of the knowledge of CHEMISTRY, and was carbon dated to 100,000 years old?

Africa is the Cradle of Civilisation.

Speech, mathematics, writing, the Calendar, architecture, medicine, iron smelting, mineral mining, law, philosophy, religion, marriage, etiquette/protocol, cities, international trade and shipping, and more, are ALL BLACK AFRICAN INVENTIONS AND INNOVATIONS.

Africans had scripts we know of which included the Meroitic script, the Nubian script, the KEMET script, also known as hieroglyphs, the Ajami script, the Nsibidi script, the Adinkra symbols, the Ethiopic script etc.

ALL OTHER SCRIPTS WORLDWIDE ARE DERIVATIVES OF THE ORIGINAL AFRICAN SCRIPTS.
Politics / Re: Obi To Tinubu: Stop Pretending, Nigeria Remains Poverty Capital Of The World by Kushites: 4:40pm On Jun 21
bennybuhari:
The Labour Party Presidential Candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi has reacted to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's downplaying the hardship in the country with his view that it's not peculiar to Nigeria alone.

Obi said that rather than face the reality that we are the poverty capital of the world and the most insecure people and take decisive steps to stem the situation, the government is trying to play the ostrich even when the people are overwhelmed by the situation.

Writing on his X handle the former Anambra State Governor said "The problems facing Nigeria are well-known to all Nigerians. We are the poverty capital of the world, among the most insecure people on earth, among the hungriest, have poor education quality and the highest number of out-of-school children, high infant mortality, corruption, unemployment, the highest income gap between the poor and the rich, high corruption perception index, infrastructure and healthcare challenges, and more.

"It's disheartening to hear those in charge, who were hired to address our problems, make statements like "we are not the only ones struggling with poverty and hunger." Instead of merely acknowledging that other countries face similar challenges, we need to hear a thorough plan of action to tackle our unique struggles. We require concrete solutions and a clear vision to address these issues, not comparisons that downplay our circumstances. I urge those in leadership positions to offer tangible solutions, not mere reminders that others face similar challenges. We need a comprehensive approach to tackle our specific challenges, not generalizations that dismiss our experiences.

"A true leader provides direction, guidance, solutions, and reassurance in times of crisis. This is the hallmark of visionary leadership and a trait of nations that are making progress and advancing their development. They don't simply state the obvious but offer a roadmap for overcoming obstacles. Just like a pilot, who doesn't just announce turbulence; they assure passengers that they will do everything possible to ensure a safe journey.

"Only then can we begin to trust that our country is in capable hands, working towards a brighter future for all Nigerians.

MEANING HE NEEDS TO UPDATE HIS EMPTY HEAD AND STOP SPREADING DISINFORMATION ABOUT NIGERIA.

Yankee101:
A lot of the estate roads are privately built
The developer builds his own infrastructure in a lot of developments in nigeria
That’s why they are tailored. Of course the initial design for Abuja added those features too

All we need is a national STANDARD for how the roads should look. And a requirement that every state govt meets a certain percentage in terms of upgrades per annum.

If we do that, in the next 20 years, all our streets will look world class.

The 'abroad' that you people love so much, BE the abroad nau....?

Kigali, Rwanda

This is how you eliminate sand from the roads.

Roads are not supposed to have sand on them.

You eliminate sand by SEALING the road. You build the road, then it hits the pavement/sidewalk which hits the wall of the house.

Result?

NO SAND FOREVER ON THE ROAD.

You don't need to sweep. Ever.

ZERO SAND.

Why can't these CRETINS we call governors build our roads like this, the RIGHT way?

I LAUGH when I hear these clowns in govt talking about ''attracting tourists''.

UTTER CLOWNS.

Tourists LOVE to walk around.

They will NEVER visit Nigeria for tourism until you build your roads the right way.

Who is going to leave their comfortable nation to come here and be jumping gutter with you people?

With dusty roads, sand and mud?

Dreamers!

Keep dreaming! 🤣🤣

If some states must build this type of street road, a lot of demolition must occur and most of the state governors are not all that wicked to demolish peoples houses with paying compensation.

Some states governors are doing well in times of street road construction.

I left..!

If the roads are too narrow, we can still cover the drains and clear the sand.

Do you know that in Japan, only major roads have sidewalks?

Their inner roads have none, because they are too narrow. They were built centuries ago, before the invention of cars.

But see how they look:

Road sealed properly, so not a drop of sand on it, and drains covered.

Why talking state governors, are all federal roads done now?

Metropolitan streets and residential city roads are NOT the FG responsibility.

That is for the state governments to fix.

The FG has shown the way, by how Abuja was constructed.
