Pls no vex, what do u mean by credit transfer and will it affect ur course duration.tnx

if u r suppose 2 do 30 courses in all and you transfer 10 for instance that means u have 20 left. so u might graduate sooner if u are able to finish the rest on time.

@ Pauluche, you are using your personal experience to generalize the whole scenario in German universities, in big cities many students are working and at the time going to school and passing their exams, some are even working in two different places. Some students married their German girl friend while doing their masters. The issue of failing or passing exam have nothing to do with clubbing or working, if someone is intelligent or have determination and can read and understand easily, you can club, work and still come first in the class. Some people are from rich family if they spend their 8040 finish their parent will send another one to them, some don't have and have to work to support their self. In all it depend on the goal that somebody set for himself. If somebody carry him head shook for only book for Germany the person will only allow the school to pass through him or her without allowing himself to pass through the school. All jack and no fun makes jack a dully, body nobi firewood, nwanne guys suppose explore Germany to be able to have a story to tell, gutter no dey block oo if someone is smart. Flexing is not bad oo if one do it moderately.

Bro , there is nothing wrong with running things German chics but plz be adviced, They take time 2 trust.DO YOU HAVE THAT TIME ?
U might be very sound academically but if u are distracted from ur studies.....u no d result.

If your parents are loaded then u can spend the way u like .But 4 me n some other guyz when dey leave on budget we got 2 save o .imagine 4 - 6 euro to enter most clubs meanwhile with 10 euro you can feed for a whole week.

if body dey do you one kind look for blacks other serious chics make study mates with...so you do not abardon ur studies while u pursue ur other desires... u no the rest

If na permanent stay u dey find , i think d best way is 2 graduate very very well so u get good job which will give u stay.if u date a very sound chic either of u can get job that will make u both stay back .

If u jam Germo when serious she will not have time 4 u as her studies is most important.if she manage like you she go dey fix appointment for once a month or anytime when she don study her book finish and believe me seminer/presentations dey every now and then. If u jam the one when no like book she will pull u 2 every party in town .
And i do not know about other cities but in my city there is party every week almost like 3 or more different once a week. Mind u once u go party , your next day is ruined as sleep go dey worry u 4 class- who no go class go better pass u .

And talking about stay....do u think u will be a liability after graduating ?if ur result is hot u can apply for denmark green card scheme, u can apply for skilled immigration to australia, new zealand, canada, estonia 2 mention but a few. so if u must have romance have it because u really want 2 love not because u dey find stay.u world is looking 4 professionals and German Graduates are respected worldwide.

My efamily SEE i tire o .U go start classes in the morning and 6pm here day don dark . The europe n russian guyz dey follow but be like say the Afri guys need 2 study n study o as I no know if na similar curriculum when we use 4 the past 4 yrs them self use o .NO TIME 4 CLUB OR PLAY O

On the area of Food, Here is what I do . I buy sliced bread and nutela and take 4 slices in my bag to school everyday.in september i spent over 200 euros on food but in october i spent less than 100. i ensure i cook . Make plenty stew n soup every weekend then boil rice or make Griess everyday morning and evening. Griess of 29 cent can be made 3x. Rice of less than 1 euro can be cooked like 3x too.

ON School Location , I agree with u I got admission in schweinfurt and Hamburg. The cheapest i saw in hamburg was over 400 euro 4 shared flat and about 1 hr or so by train from school. But I took schweinfurt as the accommodation is 247 for self contain and 5 mins from my school on foot.

so if u leave in a small city u may save more and stress less. imagine when i have a class by 8:15 i can leave my room by 8. but if it was far i will have 2 leave by 7.
There are jobs but u must know German that is a plus 2 big cities though as u may get job with very low german lang.
BUT 2 be sincere When u wan take do u work ? when u get over 300 slides to understand or crame ? u go enter lecture of 90 mins u no go fit ask question as u no even get idea of the theories when they prove?

Omo as them announce credit transfer I sharply go transfer some so that my life go easy o .lol
That been said if anyone is interested in coming to FHWS - schweinfurt just send me a private mail and i will reply u with my number.

I wish team 2016 success

Pauluche:
Alright I,m back. Had a busy "yesterday". Lemmi start with the issue Annie17 raised. PLEASE there are GOOD winter jackets in Katangora. I repeat GOOD WINTER JACKETS. As I write I bought four of them and till now I haven't bought any in Germany at least until now and we've had pretty bad temperatures. I really don't know where these guys that are criticizing the mkt got their's. I bought each for 2.5k and they are worth it at least till winter comes. When you enter the mkt just go straight till u see the first building by your left (old upstairs) there's an Igbo man he'll give you good winter jackets.
Yea I raised some important issues in the first post such as booking a bus or train and traveling with your MasterCard. In addition do well to carry Aboniki cuz e go help you.

*** Lemmi correct this mindset with which i entered Germany and almost got worse off. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE ATTEMPT TO CONVERT YOUR EURO TO NAIRA BEFORE YOU BUY THINGS like snacks which you might need if you stay long in school, basic items in the shopping center and so on else you go put yourself for hunger and almost get high bp as you de spend and convert. You have to understand that the standard of living as well as exchange rates are not the same. I almost developed ulcer trying to yield to some of the advice given here. Just be prudent in your spending I mean 670 euros is enough to see you through in a month and you will still have something to save at least if you spend wisely. I came in here with 200 Euros it's been over two weeks now despite the buying and all that I still have change with me I never even touch blocked account money.

*** Well that brings me to the issue of school location. I must say that ALL I read here about Jena like the city is small, the state is poor, there are no blacks, no jobs etc IS FALSE (no insult intended). In all honesty and with due respect to Nigeria the city is well organized and the serene is better than any city in Nigeria; Abj and Lag included. Well that's when comparing to 9ja. Yea the city may not have skyscrapers buh who cares about skyscrapers? For heaven's sake I'm here to study not for tourism lolz. There are tall rising buildings though. The City is small Omo no be size of city we come Germany come chop na? Read your books graduate and go anywhere you wish to. The city isn't small by the way. Because it takes me thirty-fourty minutes on tram to get to campus from where I live. Some cities in Thuringia may be poor but Jena Erfurt and some others aren't in anyway. The index of the state is computed on the performance of all the cities in the state that is why the state may of course have an average performance index.
** There are no blacks.... Holy Nehemiah! Who said? Omo I have seen so many blacks as a matter of fact there are so many blacks in my class mostly from Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Gambia just name it. I was shocked when I saw them. Just go to Haus auf de Mauer when you see blacks you go run.
*** There are no jobs.... ehnnn who said? Make I no hear am! My mentor asked me the second day after I arrived how I came (the funds) and if I would love to start work next week I told him I'd like to settle down at least for this term. Na there I stop.
**** Basically I know the opportunity of getting student jobs, the vibe of the city and all that mostly influence our choices at times but from an Economic point of view you also have to realize that the cost of living isn't the same. More so you get paid the same amount for the student jobs. Here some student rooms costs less than 140 euros compared to 250 or 280 in Munich and other cities that's 140 euro difference! Cost of things are also cheaper in these cities compared to other larger cities. Take it or leave it for individuals with similar or the same spending preference (which definitely isn't possible because of the higher propensity to spend/consume in larger cities) the savings of the individual in a larger city will by far be lesser than that of the individual in an average city ceteris paribus. Bear in mind that I didn't include the issue of uni ranking because of the numerous debates it has been through here.

***** You have to make up your mind to study. School here no be beans people have said that before and the Europeans are not making it any easy. You go come class and lecturer go just de talk, de solve and then you realize se at the end na only 10% of the lecture you understand you no go even fit ask questions as the lecturer de teach because you no know where them de I mean you're practically lost! Na der u go see Europeans wey de shake head de understand and de flow with the lecturer and then you begin to ask yourself what happened to the four years you spent in the university in Nigeria. Imagine you go for just one lecture and then you go through 103 slides. How many slides will you have at the end of 12 lectures assuming the class holds just once in a week or 24 lectures assuming it holds twice a week? And then say you are offering 4 to 5 courses in the term? Guy even if you make first class na wash when you come here. I have a very sound result and I was like Omo nothing de happen no be Economics, Econometrics, Calculus and all that? Omo right now, something de happen to God!
I see some guys talking about German girls and I laugh. You get 670 euros per month and you wan waste am on partying, clubbing, drinking and on German girls abi? Ok na enjoy! Very soon if you truly came here for studies body go tell you except you came here for something else.
****** If you have someone you are betrothed to like a serious relationship or engagement or probably you're even married guy chill out naaaa easy.... Consider the other party. We know se bodi de be as e get buh you have to understand that distance makes the heart grow fonder. If you truly have a conscience and you fear God you wouldn't do that. I mean wetin de the German girls bodi? Holla to all my black sisters nothing do una joor. I mean brodaly there's no comparison naaa how e de happen pass BLACK IS GOLD.
Anyways I no be relationship counselor it was just an issue raised over here yesterday and the previous post about German girls in this thread that necessitated the last paragraph.

Good luck to all 2016 aspirants. Success is yours!

Greetings efamily.

To all those that intend 2 come 2 FHWS next yr. u can apply 4 your visa now and get a visa they call admission seekers visa.it is a 9 months visa which entitles you 2 come 2 Germany and seek admission if you already have the qualification to get admission in Germany.

Here is how :
Apply for your evaluation from UNI-ASSIT NOW. for fhws and some skools it is called VPD . Get VDP plus equavalence for your Naija Certificate then proceed 2 the embassy with it . They will grant u admission seekers visa.

There is a Girl from Cameroon in my class. that was how she got here .I do not have the full details yet -- "I no wan too worry her yet 2 explain 2 me make she no con dey think am the wrong way"

please browse the internet 4 more details....I will update u on it next time i get the chance 2 bring up the topic with her

Guyz please i will not want you guyz to be bores with my questions being new in the system as i will like to know if it all schools in Germany that you are expected to do IELTS as part of the there requirements. If not what what are those schools and on the certificate authentication pls what is the current procedures. Cheers

Hello,

I stand 2 be corrected by the senior brains here in case i am wrong. I think it is safer 4 u 2 do IELTS so as 2 boost your chance. Imagine the whole world trying 2 get admission into Germany. When the competition is much , the skools will start looking 4 the most competent and I think they will prefer IELTS letter from your skool that ur training was done in english

On Certificate u can have any Notary Public Certify it for you along with His/Her seal. It is not necessary 2 go 2 Germany Embassy unless u leave in EKO or ABJ

Please if you want 2 be certain of getting into German skool try 2 apply on time and 2 as many skools as possible (no let UNI-ASSIT money pain u o) and please gather ur documents many months b4 admission start.

2 those who have not bought their ticket and are on a budget , I strongly recommend Royal Air Maroc. The booking page says 11 hrs flight but it was less than 8 hrs.

From lagos 2 marocco about 3: 40 mins
from morroc to Frankfurt about 3:20 mins

23kg x2luggage
and 10k hand luggage

hello house, my brother want to apply for language course visa, but he has some questions:
1) what are best supporting documents to prove strong ties in Nigeria?.
2) he has a business man's statement of account to present as a sponsor but he will not live with the said man, is it acceptable?.
3) The language course visa is it that easy to obtain?.
Note, he has paid the language school for a period of 6 months and expecting the invitation letter from them. Please do help with these questions. Thanks for your co-operation.

Strong ties 2 Nigeria may include marriage, children, registered company or Government employment,Assets etc

He will look like a risk immigrant if he can not explain why he prefer 2 do the Language course in Germany when Goethe is here and by far cheaper.
The V/O may like 2 know the importance of him learning German. How will it affect his life positively?
Encourage him 2 apply for Bsc , Msc or Phd Program( if he meets the requirement)- I think that may be easier as he will still have a chance 2 learn German while developing himself Academically.

Most times if u are going 2 learn German in Germany u should have learned up to B1 or B2 . not as a complete Beginner. I would recommend Goethe if he is a beginner then after A1 and A2 , he can procceed to German for b1 etc

Hi Vic. Can i get Royal Air Maroc going to bremen or where is the destination?

Hello,
U may not get direct flight 2 bremen unless if it is a major intl airport but u can fly 2 a nearby city then from there u take a train. Like I am flying 2 frankfurt then from there i will take a 2 hours train between 20 to 42 euro (depends if i reserve a seat or not ) to schweinfut.

I have checked for you . if you choose 2 fly 2 frankfurt too u can take a connecting train to Bremen . Its about 5 hrs trip and the price range between 35 euro to 106 euro depends on the ticket you buy . The website is www.bahn.com

so if you are on budget like me u can fly 2 frankfurt less than 100k then connect 2 ur city with like 100 euro or less then u see that with 150k or less ,u are in bremen

Hello House

I need your advice as I just got admitted to cottbus for undergraduate degree in environmental and resource management. but I am a graduate of production Engineering(B.eng).My other application was unsuccessful to same course at masters level and Wind Engineering in Flengsburg.

However,I have applied for blocked account at the embassy and received visa interview date for 9th September.

Kindly advice if it is wise to go for the interview with an undergraduate admission letter considering the fact that I am 34yrs,married with a Bachelor of Engineering degree.

What is the chance of being issued a visa on a scale of 1 to 10.

Candid opinions will be appreciated as I am currently indecisive on my next step i.e to honour the interview or not.

My E-family please advise!

in my opinion you have 9 chances out of 10
The other 1 is how u prepare 4 ur interview

Married is not a bad thing.> infact it points that you have a reson 2 come back home.
>>> I know someone who is married with 2 kids and I think he older than u. He applied 4 Bsc with his HND . He was given

Germans are not Racist neither do they discriminate. Just Try your best 2 be convincing that you really need 2 get this German Degree 2 make your dreams come through

Funding your block account gives them assurance that you have the money 4 ur upkeep and try 2 get accomodation contract>>> that will convince them that you know what you are doing.

JUST TRY 2 PREPARE WELL 4 THE INTERVIEW.Read Eke47 and other Guys interview tips.2 confirm if you are really on the academic line they may test u in maths or physics-- depending on who will interview u. They tested my Guy in Maths. so they will understand IF you dey academic line or not

thank you. pls when will admission open. Ive gotten almost all my documents ready except ielts. I hope to register for ielts this week. I'm not self employed. do I stand more chance of getting admission if I own a company of my own? bsc courses? does that mean I will start as an undergraduate and spend three years again before enrolling for masters. I hope to hear from you soon. thks

The schools only need your previous qualification 2 grant or deny u admission. I suggest u apply for both Bsc & Msc . anyone that come u take but if both comes u choose the preferred

The self employment issue is 4 the embassy. when i told them that i owned a company that I intend to come back to and expand with the knowledge i was going 2 get from Germany - the Lady just asked me the name of the company and she moved on with the interview but 2 my surprise I received an email to scan and send them the CAC docs. Luckily I registered my company already. It would have been bad if i did not have a registered company.

However, if you work in a registered company please try 2 have them give u a letter of introduction and also comment on acknowledging/approving your desire to further your education in Germany then if the Human resource person is your pal , Have him/her write how your knowledge will help you boost the company when u come back-- that way they will know that you still have a job waiting 4 u @ home

Then 2 be double sure apply for both Msc and Bsc courses. no let the money pain you. it is worth it . I sent 150 euro to uni asist and I got admission from 4 schools then I choose the one I preferred most.

Uni asist will charge you 75 euro for the first school then 15 for the rest in same semester.

use the site 2 search 4 courses www.study-in.de/en/

Read interview experience of others too.

if u are self employed plz plz plz go n register ur company now -no let money 4 CAC pain u

When you call try 2 communicate in German (if you already know the language ) or say" Guten Tag" then say " Bitte sprechen Sie Englisch ? ". They will then speak English with u

They will ask you your surname n age.

Then they will pull up your file
