Politics / Nigeria's Youngest Presidential Aspirant DEMOCRACY DAY MESSAGE by landmark247(m): 9:22am On May 29, 2017 |
As we continue to crave for true governance and quest for a Government of The People, By The People and For The People, it becomes very germane to keep hope alive against all odd. The challenges are enormous but together as a people we can move mountains in Unity. Political promises may have failed, our desires may have been short changed but our destiny as a people and nation still lies in our hands which means we can still be a great Nation once again. On this very Democracy Day, endeavour to be a different Nigerian, be an ambassador of good governance, be a representative of a Corrupt Free Nation and above all, put on the breastplate of Nationalism. I charge us all to do everything possible in sustaining our democracy and continue to work hard for the development of our Nation, call our leaders to to the table of accountability, constructively criticise the government and shun all practices of corruption in our workplace, community, state and Nation at large whilst we remain steadfast in Prayers for Nigeria! HAPPY DEMOCRACY DAY! God Bless You, God Bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria! Signed, Nigeria's Youngest Presidential Aspirant, 2015. - John Wesley MFR

Religion / Wolf On The Altar - John Wesley Mfr by landmark247(m): 6:34pm On Feb 02, 2017 |
It is a pitiable abysmal dismal that religious igihaga is now the order of the day and it is rather unfortunate that followers of varying religious leaders no longer have a bottom line thinking of their own as they no longer think twice about anything their leaders say. Everything is assumed to be the voice of God even when it is a message or doctrine from the pit of hell! I must mention prestissimo that I'm a Christian with a vital background in Language and Philosophy of Religion. Hence, for everything I say, none should be considered as speaking amiss except for individual perspectives. It is crystal clear like the Babylonian Biblical "mene-mene tekel yufasin" that so many of these dispensational clergymen are wolves on the Altar! It beats my imagination that recently, a supposed revered Apostle stood on the Altar to spit blasphemy to his followers stating thus: "If you find any Fulani man or herdsmen around my Church, KILL THEM!" Are all Fulanis Muslim? What if Fulanis are also members of his church? Are all Fulanis herdsmen? My BIG question is this: Will Jesus Christ Say Such a Thing or allow His Disciples to use the sword not to mention riffles? A major event took place in the bible, John:18:10 -11a: "Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and smote the high priests servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus. Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath:" "Furthermore, in Luke 22: 49 - 51 When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword? And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear. And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him." Without much ado, Apostle Suleiman is assumed to be a Christian (which means 'Christlike') except otherwise. And if he is Christlike, every heaven bound Christian will know that haven proclaimed such blasphemy on the Altar, Apostle Suleiman has successfully acted in the capacity of a Wolf and Judas Iscariot! Clergymen are meant to continually broker peace amongst brethren and non-brethren against all odd! There's no crime in self defense but it is a crime on earth and in heaven to incite violence! I therefore charge all religious leaders and followers to henceforth not relent in ensuring our peaceful co-existence. The world will be a better place when Muslims and Christian begin to first see themselves as humans being created by God who thereafter chose a religion as desired. God Bless Nigeria! mfronmic@gmail.com

Politics / Lingering Scars From Boko-haram Attacks! - John Wesley Mfr by landmark247(m): 8:42pm On Dec 29, 2016 |
The young Man in the picture is Paul Geidam by name. He's an Indigene of Chibok in Borno State, Nigeria. In my conversation with him earlier today, he had this to say: "Oga, this Soldier defeat of Boko-Haram enh na Joyful thing for me O! You see me bah, I run comot from Chibok with my wife when Boko-Haram kill my brother and Mama. I come buy Achaba (Bike) dey use am manage life with my wife. But now, I go sell this bike, me and my wife go come go back to Chibok because my friends don go back and dem tell me say no more Boko-Haram" I felt so sober having heard his short story and wondered how many people like him fled Chibok to Lagos and other parts of Nigeria for safety. Let me say to Our Ibo brothers and fellow Nigerians, no matter what the situation is now, NEVER wish for outbreak of War in Nigeria! Only those who survive will tell the Story! The scars of gory attacks on the city of Chibok and environs of Borno, inclusive of other Northern parts, obviously from Paul's story will linger for a long time. How will a Mother ever forget she lost all her children to an explosion? How will a Yarinya (Young Woman) ever forget losing her husband to Boko-Haram slaughter and will those kidnapped girls that may never return be forgotten by their parents? Even Paul, as Joyful as he's now to return to Chibok still remembers how he lost his brother and mother to the Boko-Haram attacks. It's really sad that we actually went through such a terrible path. I therefore Charge Mr. President and all team players not to relent in ensuring absolute security of lives and properties, and also do everything possible to redeem campaign promises made to Nigerians so they can increase hope in Nigeria! God Bless Our Nigerian Soldiers and Gthe Federal Republic of Nigeria! #NoToWar #NoToTerrorism #NoToViolence

Business / Importation Of Egusi & Ogbonor A Slap On The Nigerian Economy - John Wesley Mfr by landmark247(m): 9:43am On Dec 06, 2016 |
It does bother me often what will become of this Nation Nigeria when we all give up on her and stand aloof to watch mechanised system of corruption play out on a daily basis, thereby leaving the common man to continue to wallow in abject poverty. It should leave us to bury our heads in shame that at this point in time in this Nation, we are importing Sand from Benin Republic, Poundo Yam from Europe, and heartbreaking enough that we now import Egusi and Ogbonor which are our local foods. How then does the campaign for "Made In Nigeria" products becomes firm in Nigeria and how do we get to strengthen the economy when our local foods are now being imported by some demonic persons connected with certain Cabals in government and will not stop at anything to rip the Nigerian economy of greatness just for their own selfish interest. That our local rice is so expensive today even more than the imported ones is as a result of these same demonic persons who selfishly take charge of our locally produced ones that should be of great benefit to the Nigerian masses and then export it abroad for sales with less benefit of return to the Nigerian economy. The Nigerian masses should not be left hungry as a result of export of our local foods. If the Nigerian masses so prefer the importation of our local foods for their consumption, it is high time we identified those behind such re-packaging and importation. The Federal Government should then foster an enabling environment for the packaging of same here in Nigeria for sale and exportation and not to be imported. Our natural life is beautiful than any of the world's. Let us not kill it! 2 Likes 1 Share

Politics / Judges Are No Sacred Cows - John Wesley Mfr by landmark247(m): 9:47am On Oct 10, 2016 |
I am elaborately bewildered by the disdainful and sentimental reaction of the Nigerian Bar Association over the arrest of Judges found with huge amount of foreign currencies starched right in their homes. It becomes more wearisome to also know that the poor masses who over the years have been denied justice on varying cases because they couldn't afford the cost of justice are also all over the place reciting the Rule of Law anthem. As much I may want to condemn the DSS fire brigade approach in sometimes carrying out arrest operations, it is absolutely not out of place to arrest these Judges if information available at the disposal of the DSS was authenticated on arrival at the scene of arrest. It is a long over due revamp of our Judiciary system. It is not to say that this is a fight against the judiciary by the executive as already cleared by Mr. President. Judges are no gods and as such not sacred cows in whatever capacity. You will remember in my recent publication, I talked about Political Exigencies and Judicial Sabotage. One of the exigencies is what we saw toutishly expressed by Governor Nyesome Wike of Rivers State because the Judge in question must have at some point sabotaged Judicial process to favour his political inimical desire. I hereby urge the Federal Government to hence follow due process in carrying out the fight against Corruption while expecting Corruption to fight back using all other corrupt means. Judges arrested should be tried without further delay, if found guilty, they should be convicted with immediate effect and if otherwise, the NBA has the wherewithal to sue the DSS and the Federal Government. In the mean time, let the fight against corruption continue till we make Nigeria great again. 1 Like

Politics / Political Exigencies And Judicial Sabotage - John Wesley Mfr by landmark247(m): 9:44am On Oct 04, 2016 |
It's a new dawn and beginning of another for the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It's been a very long walk through 56years since Independence and we have had our share of the wealth and woes of a Nation. But we must acknowledge that we cannot continue to do things the same way as a Nation and continue to expect a different result. It takes self-denying commitment for to move from being a 3rd world personality to dwell on a 1st world stance just like Li Kwan Yu of Singapore did. A nation clouded with political exigencies such as Political killings, Political Manipulations, Political Fraud, Political Igihaga and Malady will remain stagnant and leave it's people in a devastating state of emotional shambles. Because the continued political menace created by politicians leaving the masses in disarray and division across borders, thereby shifting attention of the masses away from progressive and productive discuss but dwelling daily on their political shenanigans. Worst of it all, when mandates are stolen and elections are rigged, they are still celebrated and the height of Impunity plays out from our Judiciary. The Nigerian Judiciary has always been a refuge for Political Exigencies and as such, he who delivers the biggest "Ghana Must Go" gets acquitted and vindicated. They sabotage the vessel of justice and truncate the administration of the Rule of Law leaving the masses and common man hopeless. These same political carnivorous personalities eventually reign in power like Pharaoh over the Israelites, leave the people in agonistic hardship, steal public funds, celebrate Impunity and when caught in the act by relevant authorities, the court room all of a sudden turns into another political rally where weekly and monthly points are being scored until justice is perverted. Our Judicial system has become so porous such that our courts are now only meant for Unjustifiable sentences and killing of the common Man who can't afford to pay for Justice. I hereby charge our Judiciary to remember that posterity and nemesis are the most favourite dictionary word of nature and no earthly judge has the power to decide on when it catches up with any Man. The only hope for Nigeria is our Judiciary. Arise to challenge Political Exigencies and repent from Judicial Sabotage. Nigeria belongs to all of Us and it is in our hands to make it great again. GOD BLESS THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA!

Politics / Nigeria's 56years Of Nefandous Sailing - John Wesley Mfr by landmark247(m): 10:01am On Oct 01, 2016 |
It was barely 48hours to Independence from the British colonial rule of several years. The atmosphere could tell it all in the faces of my beautiful black warm people who will later be addressed as Giant of Africa in the nearest future. Oh how I love the smile on Adunni’s face; her uncle Sir Adesoji Aderemi just became the First African to be appointed Governor in the Commonwealth sometimes in July. She never stopped counting days to go as she had always dreamt of our imminent independence from the colonial masters. The day will be here soon and some of the notable monuments we adore are being painted green white green already. What will be our new national anthem once by tomorrow we become an independent people from the British colonial masters? Adaobi asked inquisitively. Shall we still recite “God Save The Queen?” We will no longer recite that anymore in our schools and in all public and private places. There is a new anthem. You will hear it tomorrow from our National choir when the Independence Day match pass will be on. But let me give you a hint of the anthem… “Nigeria We Hail Thee, Our own dear native land, though tribes and tongue may differ, in brotherhood we stand, Nigerians all, and proud to serve Our Sovereign Motherland…” I will stop here now and by tomorrow you will hear it in full verse by verse. Why not recite it all now; she pleaded. This was the early years excitement some 56years ago as we approached Independence day celebration and it continually reminded us of how our heroes past fought for our liberation. What went wrong with that feeling of excitement at the mention of October 1st? 56years down the line and we as a people no longer have any prominent reason to celebrate. The joy of being an independent nation has gone sour, our leaders rule us with cake on the left hand and whip on the right hand. We the citizens have also failed to emancipate ourselves from mental slavery. They afflict us in actions and policies, we make noise in the corner of our rooms and later return to the poll to still vote thinking our vote is what will make the difference. The continued nefandous sailing of the Nigerian Ship has left us merigorounding for 56years having no meaningful way forward as a people. Should I say our independence came too early than we should have earned it? How then shall we escape from this so great nefarious situation. Who will restore to us the Joy that comes with Independence day celebration? Arise O Compatriots, obey the call of salvaging our dear Nation from a sinking sail. We are Nigerians, Nigeria belongs to all of us and God has Blessed us so richly than any other nation of the world. We can make our nation great again by simply acting right and upholding the laws of our land. Let this day be a day of reflection for our present and past leaders on the woes they have all caused our dear Nation and seek to turn a new leave by making resolutions to: Revamp Our Judicial System Revamp Our Civil Service Commission Strengthen Our Institutions Recover all our looted funds Make Nigerians a 1st Class Citizen in their own country and beyond Commitment to provision of basic amenities Build monumental infrastructures and establish an unbreakable maintenance institution. Revamp and consolidate our security system Make service to Nation a volunteering part time responsibility. Engage in National Orientation of the populace on government policies. Never again divide us along religious, ethnical and political lines anymore. I believe in our dear Nation and we will certainly rise again to be the Giant of Africa that we used to be. This Independence day, should be a day of sobriety and reflection for all Nigerians as we also bow in a minute silence for all the lives lost to bombings, insurgents and kidnapping. Warm condolences to the families of our great fallen Soldiers in the line of duty and same with families of all berieved Nigerian. Thank You! God Bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria and Happy Independence Day! John Wesley MFR johnybee2k@gmail.com @SenatorWesley

Politics / A Nation Of Political Judas - John Wesley Mfr by landmark247(m): 8:29am On Sep 28, 2016 |
In the light of all that has happened since the beginning of Political escapade in Nigeria, it is crystal clear like the biblical mene-mene tekel yufasin that we are still a long walk away from Political refuge and sincere leadership. Over the years, I carefully watched the terrain and the type of Politicians we have, what kind of people are they? Are they really what they pose as to the electorate? What happens before and after campaign for elections while seeking to occupy office? What runs through their mind when making so endearing and mouth-watering promises to the people while campaigning and what changes or turns out to murder those promises? Too many questions won't stop popping up about the Nigerian Politician and the garment of illuminatic deception they wear about. I am of the strong opinion that so many of our Nigerian Politicians are not of the following: 1. Not Strong-willed 2. Not Masses Oriented 3. Not Nationally and Economically Purposeful in Pursuit. 4. Not Service Oriented 5. Never Sincere with confessions 6. Not Respectful to the Rule of Law. 7. Never Compliant with Oath of Office. They are an association of the following: 1. Wolves in Sheep Clothing 2. Fraudsters and Mandate Rogues 3. Corrupt Personalities and Law Breakers 4. Looters of Treasury 5. Destroyer of the Masses 6. A ko tile ta... (Son of a Gun) 7. Political Judases and Ambassadors of Impunity. It is high time Sanity is restored into the Nigerian Political system such that the future of our dear Nation Nigeria can be secured from being sold by these set of Judases presently operating in high places. More people of integrity and sincerity of Purpose should begin to step forward to occupy public offices. A formidable campaign for the emergence and adoption of Independent Candidature should be launched, such that NGOs, Groups and Associations free from dispensational political sponsorship can begin to groom sane people with sincerity to serve the Nation against all odd. I see a New Nigeria emerging soon as the beautiful ones are now born. God Bless Nigeria!

Politics / Saraki Misleading Fg On Sale Of National Asset - John Wesley Mfr by landmark247(m): 2:05pm On Sep 21, 2016 |
CAPITAL NO TO SALE OF NATIONAL ASSETS!!! It is crystal clear like the biblical "mene-mene tekel yufasin" that Bukola Saraki as Senate President alongside other SINators are not well wishers of our beloved country Nigeria. They are bunch selfish charlatans who have no progressive foresight to see through a Nation via formidable legislation. It is however, a pitiable abysmal dismal to hear Bukola Saraki advise the Federal Government to sell our National Asset all in the name addressing a temporary challenge (Recession). This is practically not a good advise but a message from the pit of hell! What happened to all other assets that were sold under the watch of Olusegun Obasanjo, IBB and the likes. Operation Feed the Nation (OFN) was sold into the hands of one of them, 1004 was sold also into the hands of one of them, Nigeria Airways sold, NITEL sold, NICON Sold. All are being sold and same people who advised it be sold arne stakeholders in the event of it being sold. Hello Mr. Saraki, we are no longer interested in selling our National Assets! We are interested in cutting down government exigencies and wasteful spending so that we can salvage our economy. I hereby state clearly what Nigerians wants sold: 1. Reduce presidential Jets to 3 by selling 7 out of existing 10. 2. Sell the over costly Senate President vehicle and buy a cheaper one if so necessary. After all, it's a call to serve. 3. Reduce all members of National Assembly entitlements by 50% 4. Cut down on humongous national spending. 5. Over 100 delegates on President foreign trip is not necessary but wasteful at this point in time. Reduce delegates or entourage. We believe in our Nation coming out of recession and doing well again but we do not believe in disdainful extravagant spending from all government quarters and it's a NO to selling of our National Assets. Thank You, Signed: Member of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. - #MFR 1 Like

He doesn't go about with a Mac Book or an iPad. What you will see with him is a "Blue Diary". I have taken time to carefully watch him and I have not stopped wondering why Baba goes about with this particular Blue Diary. What does Baba have in his Blue Diary? Could it be what I have always thought about? Probably it's more than just Presidential schedule that he has in the diary. What if in some of the pages of the diary are names of corrupt politicians that were supposed reeled out to the public sometimes in May 29, 2016? What if the entire names of principal actors in the #DasukiGate saga is part of what Baba has in his Blue Diary? Could it also be that in this same diary are names of those who have offended Baba in time past or names of those who Baba is taking note of their activities and visit to him? The "What If" of the "Buhari's Blue Diary" is endless in my head but I just know there is something very particular about the "Buhari's Blue Diary". It is awful and barbaric that a Melaye will continue to embarrass the Assembly with his dastardly behaviour. it is unethical to say such to a woman. |

Politics / Re: GMB Unhappy With PROF Osibanjo Nomination? (check Pics) by landmark247(m): 4:25pm On Dec 18, 2014 |
Can We Meet You Sir? I am Olabode John Wesley by name, a Nigerian by citizenship, a Film Manager and Media Practitioner by profession and a Member of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Interesting! Member of The Federal Republic. When was this honour conferred on you? Well, unlike every other existing MFR in Nigeria who got the honour conferred on them by one means or the other, mine is different. I realized that as a Nigerian we all belong to the Federal Republic just like anyone who belongs to any professional institute or organisation is regarded as a member of the organisation, so I came about my own MFR honour naturally as a Nigerian. Because I am a Nigerian in all ramifications, and Nigeria is a Federal Republic, therefore I am a Member of that Republic which unquestionably automatically accords me the title of MFR (Member of the Federal Republic). What Triggered Your Interest To Contest For President and Not Other Office? My interest to contest in the first place wasn't for the general purpose Nigerians are used to and contesting for the Office of the President was a major purpose I will definitely make known much later. Be that as it may, I am a very political conscious Nigerian, an uncompromising Comrade and not one like the Come and Raids. I am driven by vision and purpose towards the emergence of New Nigeria devoid of corrupt leaders, public servants and followers. My heart loudly clamours for a CHANGE expressly different from the politically desired Change. When I say politically desired Change, I simply imply that, some political institutions desire Change but what comes to mind is what kind of Change do they really want to effect? Is it Change in the way things are done administratively? Change in all sectors? Change in human disposition? Change in orientation or just a change in political leadership of the affairs of the Nation? That desired CHANGE is one to see through the emergence of a Youth oriented leadership and solomonic political system. What Plans Do You Have For Nigerians If You Emerge As President? What our agenda carries is an Egalitarian society for all Nigerians. Like I said earlier, we are out on a course to do an entire overhauling of the system and to straighten all bended cords. Our major focus under an Egalitarian society falls into three which are: 1. Agriculture 2. Education 3. Power Over the years, we have identified serious setback in these three major sector of our economy and as such can do more in these sector to ensure sustenance of our economy. We all cannot be Bankers, Doctors, Engineers and Politicians without anyone building up a career around Agriculture. We also cannot continue make plans towards raising a Mega Nation with modern infrastructures without basic education on the importance of these things and its maintenance. All these will not survive excellently well if we decide run all its life span on power generator without building up a constant power supply source. Imagine the number of graduates being churned out of the University every year and then they go to serve for one wasted year without gaining anything from the government. Imagine a situation whereby all corpers don't have to teach in the classroom alone but also have to be farmers in a well conducive environment with all necessary mechanism to engage in farming and sure relaxation recreation to wind off at the end of everyday work on a farm nourishedly controlled by the government. Imagine a young graduate of Economics taking up a farming job and getting a Peugot 306 as an official car for a start and self-contained en suit apartment for his comfort working on the farm and contributing to the growth of the Nation as he happily feeds the Nation. Even you before me will like enjoy such comfort as a farmer. The education sector also ensures that all Nigerian child gain access to free basic quality education and thereafter be exposed to the privilege of making a choice which vocational know he/ she will like to acquire. Remember, 85percent of vocational knowledge acquired requires constant power supply for it to survive without having to worry over power failure thereby stalling the business. With all these in place, every other development will survive and a stable economy can be guaranteed. Can You Tell Us About Your Party? Independent Progressive Congress is new online operational political party with a vision to bridge the gap. We realize the existing Gap between Leaders and Followers, between custodians of the law and law offenders, between the government and the citizens, and we are out to bridge these gaps. IPC represents Justice and Fairness For All. We are committed to selfless service to humanity. One Word of Advise For Nigerians? We must realize that this Our country and we have no other place to go than to see ourselves as one to fight our common enemy which is CORRUPTION and also endeavour to A.S.K. What will they ask? A - Act Right S - Shun Violence and Corrupt Practices K - Know The Law and Abide. This way, a New Nigeria is definitely certain. Aluta Continua... Thank You Very Much For Your Time Sir. The Pleasure is mine and God Bless Nigeria. Conducted By: Koledola Azeezat (Abuja)
