After charging the device to 99% from the 3rd pic you can see that the device refused to increase charge despite been plugged in @22% for 30mins+ before it proceed to charge, the phone speaker is bad, at the high volume is just voice as if it's on the lowest....( Discovered that last night also)
From the same picture you can see that the phone drained on its own without usage, in less than 4hours, I complained about that this morning when I saw that as I woke up, PS: not have the device with you fo almost a week+ anything could have happened with the device with whoever you gave it to!!!
Because the device has been opened before, it is easier for the battery to have be changed/swap without your knowledge, and the probably the screen defect was as a result of the opening the phone has been to prior to whatever the person you gave could have done, I am requesting for refund and that the device be sent back, he is now overlooking ( not wanting to refund) I spent 5k2 on waybill for the device to be sent here, he should send me my money including the waybill fee back to him and I have his device way billed back to him, if the refuses again to by 0200hrs which I know the house should have a say on before then, THERE ARE VARIOUS WAYS OF GETTING THE BULL DOWN WITHOUT THE HORN!

So can we assume you mistakenly mentioned your tlc 11 pro as midnight green instead of space Gray to Chelseamann?

It is clear you picked up a space Gray 11 pro Verizon. No dispute.

Now, was any 11 pro picked up in your office?? Apart from Alex? Was it possible that there was a switch? And Carlos gave that space Gray 11 pro picked to someone else? and the iCloud 11 pro fell into the hands of McMayor?

Since carlosfelix can’t dispute the fact that the picture was taken in his office, it was obvious that another 11 pro was given to Alex.

I’m beginning to smell carlosfelix ass burn, hence his persistent replies on this.


Either way, the 11 pro you picked is not the 11 pro picked by Alex, evidence (picture taken in office) and imei proves such.

Even if, let’s assume you gave the right 11 pro to Alex, you will still be in a mess of selling a bypassed 11 pro by the other party that will pick it from your office

Many questions lingers in this but in all, a bypassed 11 pro was picked up by Alex in your office in which the imei did not tally with what u picked in FL, Nobody cares if you picked up a space Gray 11 pro or not. If you like go and bring screenshot from the head office of offerup inc., it won’t change anything from the fact that client didn’t get that which you picked.

Let the item be returned and a refund be made by LOA00711 or the right 11 pro be handed over to Mcmayor. The mistake or mixup is from your end

1) It disputes the fact that LOA00711 activated the phone himself as he claimed in the screenshot posted by Chelseamann, phone has been active since 2019. (If there is a small lie, there must be a cover up)

2) I’m still wondering why the picker is yet to comment on this, as someone said earlier “he don run people street for here”. Mr LOA00711, at this point, your only alibi is a paid imei check which you have refused to provide and don’t think you can ignore this case. No picker or seller on the offer up thread is above this thread! You better get the headache that you are avoiding once and for all and see clearly you are on the wrong end of this with no paid imei check (which is your only savior at this stage).

Item landed in Lagos on 25/03/2021 and I sent the pickup details to @Mcmayor.

He (@Mcmayor) sent @Alex to pick it up same day, @Alex & @Carlosfelix took their time to confirm item and @Alex left with the phone same day without complain.

@Mcmayor chatted me up the next day (26/03/2021) and said phone has activation lock after reset.
I was shocked and he (@Mcmayor) suggested and concluded the phone was an “iCloud bypassed phone”.

I contacted @Carlosfelix and he confirmed to me phone was in perfect condition before @Alex left with it.

I also contacted @LOA00711 (after due consultations with some persons), some points he made are:
1: Phone was confirmed Ok before it left his office in Lagos
2: I should not disturb him over this issue and stop giving myself (and him too) headache over this issue
3: And he threaten to curse me (and not reply me too) if I discuss this issue with him again.

After everything said and done, we were left with no other option than to post this here for the general house to help and resolve it.

1) During the check and inspection by McMayors boy, was the phone reset or wiped?

2) Was the imei checked and confirmed “iCloud OFF” and “Find my iPhone OFF”

3) if it was checked, can a bypassed iPhone also give a
“iCloud OFF” and “Find my iPhone OFF”

4)LOA00711 claimed he activated the phone, do you have imei, cause a check would show estimated purchase date as when activated to back up your claims. (You’re indirectly telling us you sold a phone you activated your self, should we assume it was brand new? But the Bh is 98% o )

After all said, LOA00711 obviously bears the greatest burden in this case, this is not a case of “it tested ok before he picked from my office”. Item was bypassed, you might have been oblivious of this before you purchased over there.

Item should be returned to Carlos, after confirming if it’s the same phone sold, a refund should be made. This is the downside of this business, but in all, we will overcome. LOA00711, do the needful sir

This is not an excuse, I'm not in Lagos too and I sell deals daily. I told Chelseaman last week I also notice the people in Lagos don't check your items very well for you when they arrive, It's high time you changed them or if you're not paying them, start paying so they can always do the necessary checks when your items arrive

Secondly, I'm yet to give any stand on the case, as a matter of fact, when Chelseamann narrated for me in the DM, I told him to bring it here so people can share their opinions because Airpod issues are always very delicate and complicated.

Let’s stick to facts from what I’ve read so far

All parties involved from the moment the airpod landed in Lagos (omic) to the dispatch, to humblesteev (who took the pictures to upload for ads) to the person who picked for client.

There has been detailed alibis from chelseaman (screenshot) to support the claims and most of the parties have come here to testify. And from it we can deduce that this particular airpod in question was not tested or opened to confirm function prior before sale because it was assumed as “sealed” (nylon wrap) by the tlc buyer himself (chelseaman). And was sold as brand new sealed no box.


With this being said, joe’s case of trying to be played or scammed is ruled out, now the only way to exonerate himself is the serial number, which he claims he doesn’t have. How can you not have the most important evidence to deny the airpod isn’t yours from a well solid case chelseaman tabled.

Joe should lick his wounds and take his L on this. You were wrong for selling airpod tlc without having the serial number, or maybe you trying to dodge the claims by denying. All in all this case is well detailed and English was the miscommunication and what brought about the conspiracy. By evidence joe shld refund

My question, who buys an AirPod that's not Apple sealed without testing? Let's assume at the point of pick up, it wasn't tested, what about when sending it out to a buyer? This is Airpod we're talking about ooo.

Only a factory sealed item cannot be tested, that's a brand new sealed item. For an Airpod that only has nylon on the charging case, to me, that's no longer a sealed item. Even if you want to sell it to a customer as "brand new", you should have carefully removed the nylon on the charging case, open it and test it to confirm the functionality before selling/sending it out.

What are you saying?? Humblesteve clearly stated that Chelseamann is not in Lagos. That items were picked by him, humblesteve, and client did not test.

I think English is what is bringing Chelseamann on the wrong end in this, he communicated the AirPods with nylon as sealed, meanwhile it’s just a nylon wrap that can be carefully removed to test and carefully placed back.
