Fayose should not waste time with that politically impotent stooge.

Fashola can not even nominate a Councillor in his own ward.

Musiwa can not open a can of baked beans if given a can opener and a pictorial manual and video clip.

It was APC that did it.

They have graduated from sponsoring terrorism, sabotage and out right propaganda lies on the pages of newspaper to attacking a forum that is now resoundingly anti-APC.

careytommy: this proves the apc was behind the attack on nairaland.
what really surprised me is why seun did not back up his 'baby' for over six months.
i hope he starts connecting with owners of online forum especially to learn how they protect their site from cyber attacks

The attack apart from deleting thousands of threads and posts also banned several handles and unbanned some notorious supporters of APC like eggheaders and 5.0 CPGA who I have not seen for a while now.

The attack on NL is just the beginning. The APC has moved from trashy publications in the print media to outright sabotage of critical infrastructure to sponsoring terror groups like Boko Haram and their activities and have now come to attack us here on cyberspace.

This is just the beginning.

Obviously it was the supporters of APC that attacked NL based on this section reactions to the APC massacre in Ekiti by the PDP.

whitecat007: I dont live in Nigeria but I'll take you! Let's go!

How many senators in there and how many bills have been passed in the last year and how many killed?

There are some senators who have bills in their names and Tinubu is not one of them.

There are some senators who actively participate in plenary sessions and Tinubu is not one of them.

Even the sit she occupies was once occupied by a very active member of the Senate before her husband decided to substitute him for his wife.

Tinubu has never even made a comment on any issue in the house.

Tinubu has a private jet waiting to take her to and fro Lagos to Abuja whenever she decides to attend to her senatorial duties. She never passes the night in Abuja.

The fact that she's a senator doesn't take away her rights.

You are not a sheep so stop acting like a sheep and your leaders are not God. Like I said, it is not by force to practice democracy. Go back to dictatorship.

Remi Tinubu in her arrogating scandalous rumor mongering manner forgot the convenient fact that the highest alter of debate (no matter how frivolous) remains within the floors of the senate.

As a Senator she is expected to debate and argue her cause among her peers. She can also pass any comment she feels on the leadership style of the house on the same floor for her fellow senators to deliberate on.

Freedom of speech comes with a high level of responsibility. We are expected to appoint those among us with sound minds and moral convictions whose pronouncement on our behalf will be taken seriously by the house.

For Mrs Tinubu to make a lone comment for her close to 4 years in the Senate on the pages of the newspaper with no substantive proof is another pointer that she is just an appendage of her husband's politicking in the house.

In conclusion, I will prefer a redundant housewife claiming to be a senator than any despot but that won't stop me from supporting her trash.

You have raised fantastic issues of concern but did not really talk about the ones raised by Remi. You may as well create another thread so we can discuss that.

I am not interested in whether Remi is a saint or not my point is that she's raised issues of concern which may be the reason why our topmost arm of the National Assembly failed in passing a reasonable life impacting bill in years.

Seperate the messenger and focus on the meSsage cos that's the only way you can see the light. If an armed robber catches a thief, do you let the thief go simply because he's caught by an armed robber?

You can not separate the man from the management.

Remi Tinubu can not talk about Presidential hijacking of the Senate without no concrete evidence without her considering how she even became a senator in the first place from a state whose legislative arm is being controlled by her in-law on her husband side.

The case of the log of wood vs the speck is glaring obvious here.

aresa: It's quiet unfortunate that the people representing Nigerians as legislators and protectors of democracy are not only very clueless, they are dangerously and poorly exposed when it comes to democracy.

Democracy means you have freedom of speech, it means the opposition using every available platform including the media to highlight their differences and objections when it comes to the other side. The people you borrowed democracy from have tons of news media and political shows all day long and on Sundays where politicians go to trash the other side and even lambaste their president and call him names.

Democracy is not by force. Go back to dictatorship and quit pretending that Nigeria is a democracy.

As a Senator your utterances must be guarded. Remi can not be part of a house and also try to pull it down.

The Senate is the highest alter of discussion. Rather than rant away to her husband's rag sheet editors why did she not raise the issue on the floor of the Senate.

AS A SENATOR SHE IS GUARANTEED MORE FREE SPEECH THAN MOST BASED ON THE FACT THAT SHE REPRESENTS A FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY AND THE FLOOR IS EVER OPEN FOR HER CONTRIBUTIONS AND SUBMISSIONS.

It is either she is not aware of this golden forum of free expression at her beck an d call or she is either to timid and brain dead to go about her functions and duties as a Senator of the Federal Republic.

The only thing most of us who are not Muslims understand about islam is that it is highly prone to violence and the only excuse we get from apologists like yourself is that the religion is either being misunderstood or that there are elements at work to discredit it.

Never for once do you muslims claim responsibility for the actions of fellow moslems bothering on interpretation of your Koran.

there where times in the distant past where over zealous Christians attacked others but it is no more because other christians condemned and put an end to that crap.

As long as you muslim continue to forego the issue of islamic terrorism for what it sis as being an exclusive Muslim behavior then the rest of us should prepeare to brace up for more crap from your camp.

which bills have she sponsored so far?

I know that Remi Tinubu barely attends sessions and if she ever does she never passes a night in Abuja making her office redundant as most Senators are more active within their chambers nteracting with other senators and lobby groups than on the floor.

You Need to get me right, I am not interested in whether Remi is being hypocritical about the issue or not that should be a point of concern for the politicians, my concern is whether the issues raised are true or not.

The senate have failed us (Remi inclusive) and if the problem is with the senate leadership we deserve to knoW.

Stop playing politics with every issue that raises concern.

Charity they say begin at home.

Remi Tinubu is a Senator of the Federal Republic. Her responsibilities to the house, democracy and our Nation are not restricted to criticizing the same house that she is a member of.

As a Senator of the Federal Republic, Mrs. Tinubu can pass a motion regarding any issue, event that may occur in our Nation outside her primary constituents and ad-hoc responsibilities.

As a Senator representing Lagos, Mrs Tinubu can not claim ignorance of what is currently going on in the equivalent lower house and how the speaker of that same house is currently under investigation and on-going prosecution in a competent court of law on charges bothering of corruption and theft.

This same speaker is related by marriage to her husband.

Mrs. Tinubu should also know that her husband holds a lot of ace in the dealings of her State House assembly and by extension all other state's within the SW which her husband's APC controls.

Her husband has used his control of the State House of Assembly to blackmail an incumbent governor into line.
The rumors of Fashola's impeachment began when the latter refused to do Tinubu's bidding late in his first term.
That overbearing control has long since left Lagos to be ruled by Proxy by her own husband and reduced the office of the Governor as an errand boy.

Mrs. Tinubu should please shut up!
