Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji has lost her chance of marrying this year because her secret lover has called off their wedding.

Unknown to many, the pretty Nollywood single mother sparked off a secret romance with Ugochukwu Udezue, a wealthy NBA basketball agent based in Denver, Colorado last year.

He reportedly proposed to her around the time she was seen flaunting a huge engagement ring on her official Instagram page.

Miss Nnaji and the Mr Udezue were supposed to get married in Milan Italy about two weeks ago but the groom cancelled the wedding at the last minute and returned to Amsterdam, dumping the actress and her guests.
On why he cancelled the wedding at the last minute, Udezue reportedly told his friends that he doesn’t trust Miss Nnaji after she chose to make the wedding private.

Secondly, his father has refused to give his blessing because of Genevieve Nnaji’s suspicious demand of not wanting close family members at the wedding.

It was further disclosed that Ugo’s dad also refused to attend the event nor give his blessing.

Months before the wedding, Genevieve Nnaji reportedly begged Udezue to keep the wedding ceremony a low-key one. She even went as far as not telling any member of her family nor her colleagues.

A dad-of-one cleaned his entire home and did the laundry before stepping in front of a train, an inquest heard.

Benjamin Foster, 28, called his wife to say "bye" and said he loved her before he ran out in front of a train in Norwich, Norfolk on May 13.

An inquest heard that Mr Foster planned his own death as he thought he was going to lose his job at a publishing company where he had not been hitting targets.

Mr Foster stepped in front of a train at Brundall Gardens, but the driver was unable to stop in time despite applying the emergency brakes, Norwich Coroner's Court heard yesterday.

Mr Foster's wife returned home later to find police at the neighbour's door, Mr Foster's wife found a letter had been left in the kitchen and that the laundry had been done, property cleaned and shopping done.

In the days before his death he called a friend to say he had been going through "will stuff" and that if anything happened to him to be the one to teach his son "fun, cool things".

A report by the British Transport Police (BTP) stated Mr Foster worked for a publishing company but had not been hitting targets.

The inquest heard that despite having his probationary period extended, Mr Foster of Brundall, Norfolk, thought he was going to lose his job.

Mr Foster had been studying for an Open University degree in engineering at the time of his death.

Coroner Yvonne Blake who reached a conclusion of suicide, said: "He clearly was a much liked and loved person and it seems very sad that he had such a negative view of himself which clearly everyone else from his employers to his wife to his friends to his tutor didn't have."

The Federal Government on Thursday inaugurated the Central Ogbia Regional Water Supply Project in Bayelsa. The Minister of Water Resources, Mr Suleiman Adamu, who inaugurated the project, said 13 communities, including Otuoke, would benefit from it.

According to him, the Federal Government is committed to complete all abandoned water projects to improve livelihood. Adamu said adequate water supply for human and livestock production was a crucial aspect of social and economic development. He said the recently launched roadmap on water resources underscore the need for short and long term strategies for effective and efficient delivery of water to the people. “The project we are inaugurating today is among the high priority projects for water supply. “This project commissioning, therefore, further demonstrates that the Buhari administration is committed to completing all viable projects that have positive impact on the lives of our people without any political sentiments,’’ the minister said. He called on the host communities to take ownership of the water project by maintaining it for improvement of livelihood and reducing water borne diseases. The Secretary to Bayelsa State Government, Mr Serena Dokubo, commended the Federal Government for the project, saying such project was needed in other communities. Outgoing President Barack Obama condemned Donald Trump as unsuitable to be commander-in-chief Thursday, after the Republican nominee blasted US military brass and praised Vladimir Putin. “I don’t think the guy’s qualified to be president of the United States, and every time he speaks, that opinion is confirmed,” Obama said in unusually caustic language while overseas.

Obama, who was in Laos for a summit with South East Asia leaders and his final trip to east Asia, said that Trump holds contradictory and “outright wacky ideas” and is “uninformed”.

“I can tell you from the interactions I have had over the last eight or nine days with foreign leaders that this is serious business,” Obama added. “You actually have to know what you are talking about and you actually have to have done your homework. When you speak, it should actually reflect thought out policy you can implement.” Trump on Wednesday raised eyebrows by saying that Russia’s president was “far more” of a leader than Obama. Putin is “very much of a leader,” Trump said in a televised interview. “It’s a very different system, and I don’t happen to like the system. But certainly in that system he’s been a leader, far more than our president has been a leader.” Trump also drew fire for criticising the military. “The generals have been reduced to rubble,” Trump said, before noting he had “faith in certain of the commanders”. The bombastic mogul will face Hillary Clinton in November’s election, which the Democratic former first lady is tipped to win. Trump has previously angered many in the military community with mocking remarks against US Senator and former prisoner of war John McCain for being captured in Vietnam. Speaking in Laos about Trump’s unsuitability for office, Obama observed that over the course of the election season “people start thinking behaviour that in normal times we would consider completely unacceptable and outrageous becomes normalised”.
