Music/Radio / Re: Asa Or Nneka? by Levelz: 4:45am On Feb 13, 2010
Pardon the analogy: Asa is like Sunny Ade, Nneka is like Fela

Nneka might not be as good on the **technical** bits as Asa, but technique is only a part of being a great musician,

Asa trumps Nneka mainly in songwriting both in style and lyrics, However, Nneka has a better delivery (see Heartbeat) and a stronger conviction behind her music that will always ensure that she is the more popular.

Very proud of both though.

If i want to fight the world I'd listen to Nneka, and if I want to zone out and smoke my imaginary weed I'd listen to Asa. I would also hang out with Nneka over Asa, lol, im just sayinnn
Music/Radio / Re: Serius Jones - Oh Baby - Will He Ever Cross Over From Battlerap To Mainstream? by Levelz: 5:19am On Dec 29, 2009
Unfortunately I don't think he'd ever "cross over", he just has too much working against him,

I think he should just stick to battling, frankly I'm not sure why people who are good at battling think they must also record music, there is a vast and untapped landscape in battling,

Only few can navigate both, and the rest should leave it to those special few, smiley
