I am not sure how you can learn Game, but I can try and explain what I think Game is:

1. Everything that chooses you is automatically an option but not a choice.
2. ⁠The key to abundance is options
3. ⁠We all have options.
4. However, it's easy to think we don't have options because of the class or status system or better still what is called standards.
5. Standards and class systems are not real. It's just a product of beliefs, ideas, achievements, inventions, etc.

In IT, polygamy would mean scaling out (horizontal scaling), and hypergamy would mean scaling up(vertical scaling). Either way, they are both scalability techniques and just a reference for better understanding.
