Please tell them you are in Turkana and you are not starving. They think everyone in Turkana is starving.

Have you guys seen the size of Turkana. It's literally Nairobi with it's metros plus Narok and Makueni, with barely a population of 700k people. Most of the people live in towns like Lodwar and not anyone starves here. So it's quite shocking to see people say that 1million people are starving in Turkana. To add on that, a lot more towns and centers seems to come up since the construction of Kitale Lodwar road (which is still being contracted). The once villages are building hotels and restaurants for the travellers. Which is a nice move the right way.

let me tell you something, either you don't live in Kenya or you are feigning ignorance, Kenyan politics will never mature or be tolerant, we missed that train 50 years ago. corruption is rampant in the counties i agree but at least for the first time the turkanas are building there own infrastructure despite the corruption. before, did you ever heard of such projects there, the NFD region was neglected and forgotten land, but with devolution they are slowly emerging, before where were those monies going, if not the the private pockets of criminal kalenjin and kikuyu elites. they impoverish this country for 50 years, 50 years, thats why many Kenyan tribes demanded true federalism in the bomas draft except the kikuyu politicians who ganged up to water it down, mark my words, Kenya will get federalism. its only a matter of time

with all honesty, such move won't work for Kenya, at least not yet.

Kenyans please note that the better Africa we are talking about isn't today but in the future so tell us reasonable things your government are doing to develop the country by at least 2050 and we will tell you what our government are currently doing to develop Nigeria for by atleast 2035.

I second this. You guys share the good thing both countries have or are planning to do (no crying white elephants or renders) , just for a change. Then maybe after you can go back to your usual ways grin . Am looking forward to seeing beatiful renders and concrete jungles and green cities under the sun wink
