Romance / Re: My Girlfriend Just Scammed Me by Liyan(f): 8:31pm On Mar 15, 2021
WalexyWWE:
Hello guys, how are you doing. so I posted some days back how my girlfriend persuaded me to invest in an online ponzi scheme and I didn't give in.

Well she called me back to apologise and said she is sorry. I forgave her and things came back to normal. she came to spend the weekend at my place areived on Friday we talked, gisted and all that.

She left on Sunday morning said she has church program to attend. I was taking a nap on Sunday afternoon when the sound of alert message from my bank came in I thought I was still dreaming I saw 20k debit alert 6 times (120k).

To be Frank I almost developed and hear attack. I quickly blocked my line via my bank app. I thought my atm has been misplaced.

I was still searching my room for my ATM card when my girlfriend call came in. she told me she withdrew the money(she knows my pin) and she wants to use it for the same ponzi scheme she talked about. she said why will i leave money Idle in my account when sha can make use of it.

I was so dumbfounded to be sincere, I got so angry took my keys and drove to her place her neigbour said they haven't seen her. called her line again she said I shouldn't bother going to her house that she wont be sleeping home for a while now.

She said I should replace the money with all the good times she has had with me. I'm very angry right now and I dont care what happens. I'm going to the police station tomorrow morning to report this case but how do I convince them she did it since she took the money from my ATM I want a strong evidence against her. I have informed her sister and her sister said any move I take she is in support. apparently she has done the same to her sis in the last.
Report the withdrawals as fraud to your bank and request for Atm footage/pictures to aid the police investigation.
Politics / Re: Matthew Page: Nigerian Elites Using UK Schools As Shields For Money Laundering by Liyan(f): 12:28pm On Jan 30, 2021
gasparpisciotta:
Unfortunately UK tax system charges 50% tax on their idle funds....

Our elites are so wicked, self centered and callous. Most of them are destined for hell.

That so called billionaire from Ogun state that died early this year when he contracted Covid could not get an hospital bed in the UK despite being a millionaire pounds sterling.

He came back to die in Nigeria, without leaving a tangible legacy.

I doubt if he built a single hospital despite being worth 500mil dollars.

Lesson: the white man will take a poor fellow white man over a rich black man

Olugbade's father has a hospital in Abẹ́òkúta which was maintained by him and his siblings and he has a Legacy!! He was one of the nicest and humble person I've ever met.

Business / Re: Over N400k Got Debited From My Stanbic IBTC Account Overnight (Pics) by Liyan(f): 9:53pm On Mar 29, 2020
dicksonadams:
someone fraudulently gain access to my account last night 28TH March 2020 and performed a series transactions of N443,928.49 without my authorisation.

I have called StanbicIBTC customer care and the lady I spoke with told me they would disable the account and push the case to stanbicIBTC fraud unit. Luckily I was able to transfered remaining balance to my GTB account to prevent further debits (I only saw this at about 5am when I work up to pee and saw a single alert of about 6k which I guess was the first trial. The funny thing was thst the debit alert for others or the login notifications or OTp token request didn't drop in my phone Sms or email just the first 6k.

The debited money 400k+ is still being held in my account Ledger balance (see screenshot), please I will appreciate any assistance in recoverying the money. I had no reason to believe my money wasn't safe in my StanbicIbtc bank account.

Note: I rarely used this account apart for saving... I rarely use the atm on this account too. I usually transfer from this account to my gtb before withdrawing.

Bank say there is slim chance of getting the money, that even though the fund are still held in ledger balance they are as good as debited.

The Fraud did not originate from Nigeria. Your debit card details must have been compromised somehow. If you can visit a branch do so and request for a charge back since it's a card transaction. If it's not a card transaction ie mobile OYO na your case.

Please I got an invite on Tuesday to do my video interview. How long will the invite stay before expiring?
I don't know but I did mine 6 days after I got the video invite. The interview was quite straightforward and it's better to do it early. Just be yourself.

Work force group- Zone Tech Park, Plot 9, Gbagada Expressway, Beside UPS, Gbagada Lagos......
pls can someone give proper description from ibadan, test stated for 8am, 25 January and I intend to leave ibadan very early same day.. Thanks
It really depends on where your Ibadan bus last bustop is cos I know some go to Oshodi. Nevertheless if its' last bustop is Berger, enter Oshodi and drop at Second Pedro bustop (workforce is beside UPS) but if your bus is going to Oshodi, beg the driver to stop you at Second Pedro

The test questions were okay.

For the numerical, make sure you read the questions and understand them properly.
Work within the time frame and accurately of course.

The verbal was very much my thing. I wish everyone success.

The numerical got me having mixed feelings but the verbal was so on point! grin

It is well.
