NuclearHead: You can research on Turmeric face mask. Loads of videos on youtube for you. But they all come down to the mixture below: 1. Turmeric powder 2. Honey 3. Lime 4. Yoghurt or milk Mix as 2 tablespoon full of each. If it is too thick you can add more lime or little water to make it pasty like your normal toothpaste. Apply to your face and wash it off with warm water after 30min. Thereafter you may apply your preferred face cream. I will also suggest you keep in your refrigerator if any unused to preserve its efficacy. It can be a bit messy with Turmeric, so ensure the top you have on you is not your favourite dress In my own case, I was spending on average £40 for several months on products that did not work until a friend told me about Turmeric face mask. I started noticing changes after 2 weeks and now they are largely faded. All the best 1 Like

And that is because there is no assessment of any form before the authorities issued driving licenses. Not even a check on the physical or mental ability. No wonder there will always be high rates of avoidable mishaps on the roads. 1 Like 1 Share |

erico2k2: The MOT advisory to me is not about the thread or the age. But a crack line they noticed on the tyre which they showed me and that coupled with the age (6 years) was a cause for concern. So your thread may be within legal limit and age less than whatever. But if there is a crack on the tyre and you ignored it....... You can deduce the rest. |

erico2k2: I will not agree the MOT centers are after their own profits because I am not bound to buy the tyres from them. And yes I make bold to say my tyres are 6 years old. The car is not for everyday runs (mileage is just 17440 as at yesterday)These where the tyres that came with the car from the factory. I will take pic and upload later so you can confirm this. (Not with the car at this moment). You see, the point I was making is I was not comfortable with the age of the tyres no matter what the thread level is. And the moment there where concerns one way or the other on them, that sealed their fate. I know what I am capable of doing when on motor way and for that singular reason, will not play baba ijebu on my life and my passengers. |

erico2k2: Well, below is an excerpt from Michelin Tyres website: How old is too old? The five year test After five years or more in service, your tyres should be thoroughly inspected at least once per year. If the need arises, follow the recommendations of the vehicle manufacturer regarding replacing the original equipment tyres. As a precaution, if the tyres have not been replaced 10 years from their date of manufacture (see how to read a tyre sidewall), Michelin recommends replacing them with new tyres. Even if they appear to be in usable condition and have not worn down to the tread wear indicator. Source: http://www.michelin.co.uk/tyres/learn-share/buying-guide/when-should-i-change-my-tyres. However, that said. This is my own experience just today. I did MOT on my car last week and the MOT centre recommended that 3 of my tyres are six years old; that I should plan to change one of them particularly, claiming that this one was already showing a crack - (sign of ageing); that the other 2 are still okay till next MOT. I took the car to Toyota Authorized car service center today for annual service and waiting for them to do their own assessment. To my surprise they said the 2 front tyres are due for replacement but the condemned 1 by the MOT center is still okay till the next service. Confused. So I asked them to do a second assessment which they happily did but came back with same result. But at this point, I had to use my own judgement to replace the three. (the fourth was relatively new because I bought that one last year). It's all about my own safety and my passengers. But I was puzzled that these two centres were giving conflicting results. |

Hope the information below will be of help. Source : http://www.hometyre.co.uk/mobile-tyre-fitting/mobile-tyre-fitting-sussex/blog/do-tyres-have-a-shelf-life/ Do tyres have a shelf life? Since the 1980's tyres have had a date stamp added to the side walls so that you can see how old they are. During the 80's it was a 3 digit code giving the week number and year of manufacture. So 218 would equal week 21 in 1988, when we got to the 90's to differentiate they added a triangle to the 3 digits, so 218 (followed by a triangle) would represent week 21 in 1998. It became easier to remember from the year 2000 when a four digit code was used, so 2108 would represent week 21 in 2008. The service life of a tyre is usually measured by the amount of tread remaining; in the UK the legal limit is 1.6mm over ¾ of the tread all around the circumference. But we should also be looking at the date code as oxidisation is also a serious concern, and since tyres are made of rubber they degrade with age. Most consumers in the UK do not know that the date code exists, a survey in 2006 showed that only 4% of drivers realised that tyres becomes more dangerous as they age. A large body of scientific evidence supports, that most tyres should be replaced six years from the date they were manufactured. This six year expiration date begins from the day the tyre was made, not from the day it was sold and fitted to a vehicle. Tyres age dangerously because a chemical process commonly referred to as oxidisation occurs, this simply means that a tyres components are exposed to oxygen, the oxygen particles cause the flexible components of the tyre to harden and become brittle. Over time, the tyre will fall apart under normal stress, just like an old rubber band. Because this process occurs naturally, it doesn't matter if a tyre is being used, stored as a spare, or waiting on a shelf in a tyre depot, the breakdown process has started from day one. How old is too old? This is a subject of much debate within the tyre industry and no tyre expert can tell exactly how long a tyre will last. The results of experience of many tyre manufacturing companies including Bridgestone, warrant their tyres for 5 years from date of manufacture. Based on these understandings many vehicle manufacturers are now advising their customers to replace their tyres after 6 years, regardless of tread depth remaining. Regardless of their age any tyre should be replaced if it shows significant signs of crazing, or cracking within the tread grooves or on the sidewalls, or if there is any sign of bulging on the tread face or sidewalls. All tyres should be inspected on a regular basis, do not wait for a yearly MOT or something to fail. If in doubt about a tyres suitability please consult your local Hometyre representative we will gladly advise you. There are a number of organisations that are calling for an expiration date to be stamped on tyres, but until then the onus is down to you the consumer. This is also one of the reasons that we at Hometyre are against part worn tyres, as most of these are either accident recovered tyres where the internal structural damage is not known, or some are up to 15 years old, have become brittle and dangerous, but without any laws in the UK regarding age, the part worn sellers can fit anything to your vehicle.tyre cracked Photo shows a crack around the edge of a tyre. |

"Google it" is not everything. Lots can be learned beyond that if you do not limit your scope. Beside, it is pertinent to mention that there are lots of garbage information out there on the internet. |
Webmasters / Re: What Is Work Of Website Designer And Website Developer? by lond07: 5:20pm On Apr 24, 2016 |
It is amusing to read different ways people tried to define who is a developer and who is a designer. Originally, a designer has no business with coding on the front end (FE) using any of the FE technologies/tools i,e, html, javascript, css etc. A designer does what his role says he does - he designs, using Photoshop, wire frame etc. More like a prototype building. Then a developer translates this prototype into efficient and functional codes using the FE tech. and tools mentioned earlier. In fact, here in the UK, many institutions have further separated the roles of a developer to a Developer and a Front End developer. The FE developers are not designers, but they take the design (prototype) from the designers and do the FE development. The developers, or if you like, you can call them backend developers, then do the server side stuff. But in recent years, there has been overlapping of roles and that is where most of the posts above got it wrong. Yes, a designer may go out of his traditional role to learn FE tech & tools and in fact do some front end codes that got deployed into production environment and a developer may do both backend and FE stuffs. Interestingly, I have found myself on all sides of the divide. I have been to where I needed to build and support end to end. I have also been to where I was concerned with FE only. But currently, I do both backend server code and FE codes but I must work with oracle developers who handle database codes/scripts (stored proc., functions etc). So my backend role has been further separated. The Oracle developers handle all repository interactions exposing their stored procs. and functions to me to use. I do backend .Net codes as well as front end html, javascript css codes. The designer provides me with the prototype. That is the way it works. So, even though there has been an overlapping of a designer and FE developer roles, they are intrinsically not the same. 1 Like 1 Share |

lonelydora: You made me laugh in vernacular The reality is it happens everywhere. I went to university abroad and was a victim. I missed finishing as First Class student by 0.2. I got a total of 69.48%. Going by the school regulation, any mark from 69.50 will be rounded up to 70 and awarded 1st class. So you can imagine my pain that I missed 1st class because a randy lecturer was determined to take a revenge on me while I was innocent. It happened that he has been harassing a fellow female student who happened to be a friend. This lecturer imagined we were in a relationship and reasoned that I was the reason why this lady did not agree to sleep with him. In fact he offered to pay the hotel bills but this lady would not give in. All along she never mentioned it to me that this lecturer was tormenting her until when we all finished. Then she revealed all, including this randy guy groping her on one occasion. She said I must have noticed, despite the fact that I was very good in his course, he was always hostile to me. She mentioned a couple of fellow female students who confided in her that they had to do his bidding before they could pass. It was a long story, but that says it all, that it happens abroad. |
