Hello Sir, remember me that applied through DE to study Medicine last year in UI with 2 O'level results, that you advised me to go and re-write WAEC and apply again this year that you will even help me to follow up the admission, I have applied for WAEC again this year and I will try all my best to make the results in 1 sitting this time. Pls like you said, I will call on you for assistance when the DE admission process into UI Medicine commences this year. Thank you for your valuable advise. God bless you. |

...Every body knew they didn't want to give me 1st Class then (tribalism issue). I lost the DE admission then, reason I'm not sure because I've been using a combination of 2 O'level results which I think is not acceptable in College of Medicine. Now, I'm ready to go back to write this WAEC and I believe I will make it this time but what is the assurance that my Certificate and transcript descrepances won't be a stumping block in getting admission again this year  Pls advise me on what to do... |

I've been following this thread for sometime. I must confess you guys are doing a great job here. Thumbs up. I have a problem and I believe you can be of help to me. I graduated from Anambra State University where they claimed my CGPA was 4.49(Second Class Upper) and that is what I have on my Certificate. I applied to UI through DE to study Medicine last year and when my Schl sent my transcript to UI, I discovered I actually made 4.50(1st Class). Let me continue on another page... |

Now, let me giv my opinion 4rm experience of both matric & conv. Funny enof, I think I was more happy on my matric day, I couldn't imagine myself being 1 of the undergraduates, I felt on top of the world. Even wit my wonderful CGPA, I wasn't as happy as my matric day on my conv. day, considering: the "nigerian labour market, the ever-lively school environment, all my fwends that looked as of we won't leave one-another forever...etc. Just gaining admisn makes you more happy cos it's not easym..my view though |

@Femi2131,I'm happy to see U here...U gave us a genuine info on the UI admission thread about a 2nd DE list & we did not see you on the thread again. I posted some questions there for you then but you did not reply. U said for people coming into College of Medicine with 2 result, there may be problem later but not now; pls elaborate on that point. Pls do U know when the 2nd DE list will be out because my name is not in the 1st list? & besides do U think they can still give me my most preffered course:Medicine? |

Isjaymoh: Someone pls help me out. I made a mistake when am writting my jamb. Instead of using ISMAILA as I had used it in my O'level, but I used ISMAIL.I don't think that is a serious problem provided all other information like your date of birth is the same. |

Flawlessheyi: ....yes o o broda,buh i wonda how you going to do ur failback,..i won't suprise when d list comes out in a early week of nov..owing to d upgrading dat will end on oct 31.I don't think Oct. 31st deadline for upgrading will delay the 2nd DE list in any way...remember candidates for upgrading have already been offered admission and must have completed their clearance by 26th. So I don't think their names have to be re-pasted on a second DE list. It'll not delay our list. |

Lilly001: no stress ursef insyd UI ooo..if ur documents are ready, u no get problem ooo.. me no understand d questions wey dis guy dey talk say dem dey ask oooo...During my own, no questions oo..me just dey joke with d officers...Yes I'm also asking the same question of how long it will take, especially when you have all your documents intact; is it possible to be through with your clearance let's say before 11am?10Q |

Good news to all DE direct student... This is to inform all prospective students who applied for DE that the institution will paste 2nd batch for DE applicants. I was mailed this afternoon by the school so if u applied for DE and u've not been admitted kindly check ur mail and follow the step as stated in the mail. @Akby,tnx for d info bt I'm stil findin it dificult 2 open my e-mail.Honestly,if nt dat it was U who said dis,I'll av seen it rumour.Pls was it clearly stated dat dere's goin 2 b a 2nd DE list? |
