Religion / Benny Hinn And His Wife Get Back Together by Loskee(f): 1:04pm On May 28, 2012
BENNY HINN'S FAMILY RESTORATION!

JUST TWO DAYS AGO, in a crusade in New York (May 24 2012) Pastor Benny announced he is reconciling with his ex-wife, Suzanne.
Recently Pastor Benny and his wife Susan spent time together with all their children and grand children as they reminisced about all the wonderful memories of family over the years and The Lord began His awesome Work of reconciliation. With the divorce rate in the doubling, it is about time, we start teaching the world of the gospel of reconciliation; GOD HATES DIVORCE!
READ ON....
"I have wonderful news that I know will be an incredible blessing to you and a great encouragement to your family.

Our God is a God of restoration and reconciliation. The cross is the ultimate symbol of His unending yearning to reconcile man to God and will be our only hope for healing. I know, for I experienced this healing when I gave my heart to my precious Master Jesus so many years ago; but I have experienced His healing touch more recently when He began His glorious healing work in my own family, as the process of restoration in my marriage has begun.

And it all started this past Christmas...

What could have been one of the loneliest Christmases of my life turned out to be one of the most beautiful I have ever experienced. As my children, grandchildren, Suzanne, and I gathered together on Christmas day, I began to sense that our precious Lord Jesus was moving in my family to bring about the healing and reconciliation I have prayed for so long. We laughed together, exchanged gifts, and reminisced about all the wonderful memories of family over the years, and I breathed a simple prayer, “Lord Jesus, protect my family for Your name's sake.”

As many of you know, my wife, Suzanne, and I have been through a difficult season in our life and marriage. And while I am not prepared to make any announcements about what is taking place, I ask that you continue to pray for our family and be watching This Is Your Day for some precious news about what God is doing.

But I will say this: what I want more than anything on this earth is for God's will to be done in my life, Suzanne's life, and in the lives of my children and grandchildren. As a family we have been through so much, but we have seen God do the miraculous as He has called my daughters into the precious work of the Lord, delivered my son, and now begun the process of complete restoration in my marriage.

My beloved partner, I want to tell you afresh and anew that preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ is my heart and my life, and I want to preach it until my heart stops beating. I want to cry out the words, “Jesus saves, Jesus saves, Jesus saves” until the last beat of my heart and, by His grace, the last words I breathe to be, “To Jesus be the praise!”

You've been my partner and have stuck with me through thick and thin—through everything that has happened—and with all my heart I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you. I am grateful to you beyond words and will love you always. I thank my precious Jesus for bringing you into my life, and I pray that He will bless you over and over again, meeting every need in your life.

I pray every day for you, my precious partner, and I ask that He will move in a mighty way on your behalf—healing your home, your life, and your finances. I pray that He will make you whole in every area of your life. You are precious to Him, just as you are precious to me. And together we can truly be part of the coming greatest harvest!

So continue to pray with me that His healing work will be completed and, very soon, we will rejoice together at what our mighty God has done in our midst.

I love you so much and you are more precious to me that I can say,"

Hmmm...ur choice of words depicts u as a medic. I may be wrong, but dats wat I feel.
However, the ''determination'' in ''short'' people can hardly be overlooked. They are almost always unreasonably unyielding & show off dogged determination @ any given opportunity. Perhaps dey do so in an attempt to ''make up'' for their loss in the height dept.

yes fluid26, you are right about that. it's a means of defense they have about them to enable them feel relevant and to let others know that they have a place in society, specially as it is commonplace for the 'normal' ones to look down on them and sideline them. many times, it is not even a conscious effort on their part; it comes as a matter of inherence to be heard.
kind of what you have among endomorphs [fat people] and ectomorphs [thin people]. many times the fat ones feel intimidated easily even when no-one attacks them about their heftiness. they just hope no-one notices them for their size and they are easily withdrawn commonly. but the the thin ones tend to be louder and more easily agitated about everything, probably as a defense for their tinyness, to let the normal sized people [mesomorphs] know that they can also do anything they wanted and can live above the teasings just as well.

so in a nutshell, one's temperament and outlook to life is shaped by so many things, a major contributor of which is body structure/self-image. cool

*clearsthroat* cool
for all who do not know, midgets are still dwarfs, but they are different because they have body proportions which are averagely similar to that of normal humans at that height, what we like to term "CONSTITUTIONAL DWARFISM"
also, FYI, the term 'MIDGET' is considered rather derogatory, and most prefer the word dwarfism because it has a more medical feel to it rather than describing them as a matter of their circumstance.

DETERMINATION IS EVELYN OCHEPE'S MOTTO, SO SHOULD OURS BE!

you guys rock!!!

first of all, there is no such thing tagged as a 'DIABETES DIET'! the watchword is moderation in all foods, and exclusion of obviously detrimental stuff like junk food [which is not good for anyone anyways!]
next, the bill is only to help this nation rely for once on what they have, and reduce the burden of the few mills to meet the ever-increasing demand of bread, which is a breakfast staple. it's not to totally stop the sale of whole wheat bread or white flour bread, but to augment.
third, cassava flour from all indications would be cheaper for nigerians, because it is indigenous to us. families everywhere around us that cannot afford the luxuries of wheat bread due to cost may now find succour in the affordability of truly and proudly nigerian bread, made available by cassava flour. others may join in, by choice that is, if they like...
finally, cassava is processed thoroughly to rid it of the high starch content, plus other treatments to make it into a healthy flour alternative!

we have a lot to benefit from in this country, it's just that we willingly sit around and let thick sheep's wool be pulled right over our eyes!

hello NLanders! this is just a brainteaser for us Christians and all others who may want to play some IQ tests! read the following thread if you please...

The names of 22 books of the Bible are “hidden” in the paragraph below. See how many you can find.

One man from Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Roy Clark studied it while playing his banjo. Elaine Victs mentioned it in her column once. One woman judges the job to be so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help calm her nerves. There will be some names that are really easy to spot … that’s a fact. Some people will soon find themselves in a jam, especially since the book names are not necessarily capitalized. The truth is, from answers we get, we are forced to admit it usually takes a minister or scholar to see some of them at the worst. Something in our genes is responsible for the difficulty we have. Those able to find all of them will hear great lamentations from those who have to be shown. One revelation may help, books like Timothy and Samuel may occur without their numbers. And punctuation or spaces in the middle are normal. A chipper attitude will help you compete. Remember, there are 22 books of the Bible lurking somewhere in this paragraph.

good luck NLanders!!! wink

Education / Re: JAMB University Enrolment Figures Are Shocking? by Loskee(f): 5:26pm On Apr 01, 2012
nanos: I will post newspaper reports for a number of years to prove the consistency of Imo and Anambra. JAMB website contained these information until Dibu Ojerinde destroyed the website (was he hiding something?). This is evidence from 2006.

JAMB Cancels 108,769 Results
Kolawole Daniel, Abuja - 08.07.2006

THE Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has cancelled the results of 108,769 candidates out of 806,089 who sat for this year’s Universities Matriculation Examination (UME) for engaging in examination malpractice.

A 38-year-old, Mr. Lymangee Agirafo, Benue State, headed this year’s list with an aggregate score of 330, while Mr. Ade Maliki, 46, from Kogi State with an aggregate score of 324 was also among the top ten.

Briefing newsmen in Abuja, JAMB Registrar, Professor Bello Salim, said it was quite unfortunate to note that the board was being forced to cancel many results because of large scale irregularity and malpractice discovered during the processing of the results.

Professor Salim also put the number of candidates whose scripts were unscannable at 7,430 due to multiple shading; incomplete shading, incorrect shading and leaving the scripts blank.

“This is quite unhealthy for the education sector and the board will continue to de-recognise examination towns and centres where wholesale malpractices were discovered,” he said.

The JAMB board registrar also announced that it has delisted about 1,700 examination towns where malpractice were perpetrated.

The analysis also showed six states who had the highest number of applications this year with Imo State topping the list with 83,895 applications, Edo State with 57,754, Anambra State with 57,607, Delta State with 54,522, Abia State with 39,054 and Akwa Ibom State with 36,054.

https://www.nairaland.com/17612/interesting-statistics-jamb

of course they would get such high scores! i'm sure the jamb A-listers must have had some other degrees relating to elementary subjects which made them top the list!
