Crude oil should be sold to local refineries at a subsidized rate not international market rate. This is what a sensible government should do. 1 Like 1 Share |

Politics / Is The North Up To Something? by lwisee: 4:28pm On Jun 28 |
From all indications, nobody could give clear explanation for the high cost of basic food items in the South. A paint of beans is now 10,000 in Lagos Tomatoes is around 120k per basket. From my findings, most food items that comes from the Northern part of the Country are scarce and expensive but very cheap up North. I may be wrong but something is definitely not right and the government is not saying anything. |

Food / Re: Group Raises Alarm Over Looming Food Shortage In Southwest by lwisee: 7:56pm On Jun 16 |
I've been saying this since the days of Buhari. Farming in SW has reduced to like 30% since 2015. Most big time farmers have abandoned their farmland, all thanks to Fulani herdsmen invasion and kidnapping. In the past you will see able youth willingly taking up farming as a profession but now it's either they are driving korope, tricycle or join the Yahoo yahoo gang. To make the matter worse, we are bedevil with unserious government that has no plan for food security. Tinubu should declare state of emergency on food security ASAP before things get worse. 312 Likes 18 Shares |
