Follow the Covid-19 guideline of your airline strictly, Check with Sylab Airport office if they open 24/7. Wishing you a wonderful trip. And for your information, those that have UAE residence visa are called residents.

I arrived Abu Dhabi on the 18th and did a covid test on arrival. However, I haven't been able to login to the ALHOSN app as it says the UID number and Mobile number don't match.

Sirsinzu:
1 ICA approval
2 valid PCR test result
3 Rapid antigen result but 6 hrs to your flight
4 Passport with valid UAE residency
Then all the way to AUH no stress
Just returned from Nigeria

1. Thank you so much. However, when you say valid UAE residency, do you mean a valid address in UAE or I should be a resident of UAE.
2. Also, will there be any lab open by 2am as my flight is for 8am. Thank you

@SirWellington, just got back from Nigeria as UAE resident. Please check your DM.

Hello Sir,

1. As a Nigerian, will I be able to travel to Abu Dhabi using the Qatar airways without quarantining in Doha, like it is required in Ghana.

2. I will like to know how much the cost of the rapid antigen test is ? Also what lab did you carry out the test?
3. If my flight is around 8am, will I get a center to do the antigen test as I have to be in the airport 6 hours before departure.

What engineering course did you apply for? 14th of Jan is quite early. I applied Feb 1 and got admission last week. Application deadline for my programme was April15th.
Jayrealest:

Please how long does it take for one to secure admission at ucal? I applied on d 14th Jan 2021 for masters and no update at all yet since then.

Also on my to-do list only original tanscript request is there. Am I to send my original transcript from my sch even when admission is still in view? Although I already supplied student bcopy during my application. Are they waiting for the transcript to give admission?

Please can u give me the total estimate for the tuition for masters in engineering course based as I have navigated through their website and have only found the fees per course which is not exactly what I wanted.

Hello house, please for those who have travelled to Canada for their student permit, what documents were you asked to show in the Nigerian airport? And what documents were you asked to show in the Canadian airport?
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Lysega: 9:22pm On Feb 22, 2021
Thank you so much, JustMellow.
1. Where do I come in all of this? Do I come as a cosponsor thereby removing my uncle as I have show the GIC investment? Or do I just show my GIC investment leaving my mum and uncle in their position.
2. Can I use multiple bank statements? Can I also out in pension accounts? What is LE?
JustMellow:

Hello Lysega,

Your cosponsor being a Canadian citizen won't affect your application as I believe all necessary documentations to validate the sponsorship intent will be provided.

On a second note, why will your cosponsor gift your sponsor funds to sponsor you?! Can't the copsonsor just gift you the funds directly since this isn't the first time expressing financial commitment to you.

My take:

Get your uncle to either setup a GIC account on your behalf or transfer the funds directly into your account as sponsorship commitment funds.

He can thereafter use his Letter of Cosponsorship to tell the VO to look out for the lump sum deposit to you and the reason for it.

If possible, get your uncle to pay part or full tuition from the BS he will end up using for the projected intent. This will hive more weight and credibility to the said sponsorship intent.

So doing, your mom available financial resources and sitting financial balance may be fairly scrutinized in a favourable manner.

For that loan, I will suggest your mom explains the lump sum as a "loan repayment to her." The evident document to support it should be a "Loan Repayment"document or as the may have it. This is just a personal suggestion to help you think of other more compatible option/idea.

Any lump sum coming from your mom can be accompanied by a Deed Gift in addition to her LoS. If the 5m from your uncle goes a long way to cover your LE and other half of tuition in the case where part of it was previously paid, your mom don't need to transfer any funds to you.

She could just demonstrate to meet other sundry needs while studying and the tuition cost forthe subsequent year if the program has a 2year study length.

Best of Luck

Dear gurus in the house,
Lekiboboe
JustMellow

Please female a look at how I want to gather my POF
1. My mum will be my main sponsor and my uncle(who bears the same surname with me) will be my cosponsor)
2. My mum has 4 million plus in her bank accounts, she is planning to take a 'loan" of 2.5m from the cooperative(1.3m is actually her money and 1.2m is the actual loan, but you have to take a "loan" to take both your money and the actual loan). My co-sponsor will send her a gift deed of 5m (there will be papers to prove these eg LOE, affidavit)
3. Now my cosponsor is a Canadian citizen, will that affect my application in any way. I also have proof of his commitment in help as this isn't the first time he will be helping me.
4. Is the POF ok

Which is better for POF, the gift of the deed, or a student loan?
Has anyone tried to apply to Queen's University, Canada for MEng? While filling the form, I realized that you had to write your research interest and describe it, I emailed them and was told I could write N/A, they also don't write SOP's. I also noticed I wasn't asked to submit any transcript on the online application, isn't that strange?

1. What if I borrow some amounts of money from a relative, add it to my mum's account, and explain it in my SOP, will that also be a good POF?
2. What is my family ties are based in the same city as my school, won't the VO question my return home?
3. Can I collect a student loan and show it as a POF (this is because my mum balance might not be enough?

1.Good evening house, I want to use an uncle as my sponsor for my Canadian student permit application. This same uncle stays in the same city I would be attending school in, is this safe? 2.Also am I to state all family ties I have in Canada?
3.If I decide to use my mum as a sponsor, does her investment and land properties count?
4.Is it safe if she gets large deposits of money in support of my masters?
