Greetings to everyone, had a successful interview yesterday, less than 5 minutes. The co only asked where I schooled, served and where I'm working. Still speechless...
Here's my advice to everyone getting ready.
1. No phones, earphones, flashdrives, metal objects except keys, liquids (mothers with babies maybe allowed...emphasis on Maybe), powders & cameras allowed, once you have been checked around 5:45 & are being told to que, leave them with an officer outside, if you are found with any of these inside during checks you will be sent out to drop them & start he que from the beginning...this happened to me twice, wasting time as my tag was eventualy 431 instead of 408 or something.
2. Carry all originals of required documents not just photocopies, for me these were, ssce from waec, ssce from school, testimonial from school, uninversity & nysc if you have completed those, dont forget original, police report, npc birth cert, int. passport, medicals (xray not needed) and your 2nd letter for interview. Passport size is 2x2 inch dv size on a white or grey background, get it right pls
because its #2,000 outside the embassy.
3. If you didnt fill in a us address when filling your forms & just got one, write the hosts name, address, zip code & telephone no, neatly on a piece of paper, i recommend you type & print.
4. Visa fee is #54,500, but carry extra just in case.
5, No need for fancy suit dressing, a nice shirt & trousers is fine, if your a family, u can all just wear matching clothes like asoebi, not a must tho.
6. Eat something before coming oh, once you enter the final interview room, I don't think you can come out without a special pass.
7. Relax, the cos are really nice, unless you're lying...& yes they can read your mind. But seriously I saw an elderly lady who couldn't speak english & had to interviewed with an interpreter get issued a visa...so start smiling, unless you are a fake married couple.
8. Almost forgot, when you get your tag, watchout for your tag number to be displayed to drop your documents, sometimes your name will be called instead so stay sharp. Also keep your payment reciept safe cause the co will ask for it.

yea it is, & the best story since Vice city IMO, love the great moral choices u make, improved cop chases, great landscapes nd scenery, dont quite like the forced friendships, the cellfone is fun to use, u can actuall dial 911 nd d cops will show up, physics is just beautiful, one time i crashed so hard i flew out thru the windscreen

Very possible we cud set one up, just need a powerful PC to act as a dedicated server, very fast internet connection & someone to manage it

PC all the way, playing games on the pc actually makes u smarter...lol, no offense to console gamers.
2. Theres also an endless supply of mods for pc games...just take Skyrim HD graphics mods vs the original skyrim for example, console gamers dont have d luxury or brain power.
3. Infinitely better graphics: no matter how great u tink ur game looks on ur console, it will look even better on my PC.
4. All games & all consoles r made on PCs...go figure.
5. The most flawless, hardware demanding nd greatest technical achievement, game-wise of all time now, used as a benchmark software...i.e Crysis is a PC only game, Crysis 2 had to be watered down to run on consoles.
6. Finally PCs are upgradable, i don't hv to wait for the PS4, i just upgrade my rig.

Console makers are well aware of this nd so concentrate on making most games for consoles just to sell their hardware, dats y God of War will probably never come on the PC, but they take our Prince of persia & port it to consoles to make more money. Dats y games like GTA IV & Devil May Cry 3 were ported terribly to the PC, to encourage people to stick to their consoles.

But who cares, u can program on a PC, Ha ha, so we code our own emulator nd play ur "console only games"

Yep, playes great, download the official 2.1 patch (327mb) if u have any issues, but if ur having the offline profile problem or crash while playing in-game movies, holler back...sorry im using a fone, so its to cumbersome to post d fix rite nw

Hi, if u really wana download youtube videos just do the following:
1. Loadup firefox
2. Goto tools, den addons,
3. search for video download manager, or youtube download manager, type it in the search bar
4. pick one with a high rating, install it, restart firefox nd ur gud to go
5. I personally use internet download manager (IDM), still d best in d download business, look it up

Realplayer is gud if u dont use firefox as it conflicts wit youtube, sometimes stopping videos from playing altogether, but they might have fixed this

dude its not ur computers fault, nd pls there is no game in the world yet dat needs up to 8gb ram so please dont give wrong info. Games only take advantage of extra ram if u have it, even 2013 games dont need more dan 4gb nd a nice swap file, what all games really need is a powerful processor, dedicated video memory nd registered graphic chipsets. what ur having is a typical windows 7 issue, i've had several games iv had to part with simply because they cant recognise ur recent graphics card properly or aren't 64 bit compatible causing glitches everywhere, search for official scarface patches on the internet nd see if they address ur issue, else u will need to play on a lower spec pc with windows xp, or use virtual box, install xp on it, install d game, nd play from there, the single core fix should also help

I give first place to Amnesia: the dark descent, its the only scary game in which u cant defend urself, much like d start of Dead space 2, Resident evil 4 is only scary the first time round, on my second playthrough, i got enough cash nd bought the chicargo typewriter, nd infinite launcher, making all battles a one shot one kill, & give Ashley the suit of armor making her invincible nd too heavy for any ganado to carry. RE5 only gets tense after the lickers r introduced, never is it scary, Painkiller isnt scary either, mostly due to the funny enemy models. Left 4 dead is really great. My list:
1. Amnesia.
2. Dead space 1 & 2.
3. Doom III, need to know others who have finished this.
4. Silent Hill 2, havent played any other,
5. Cold Fear, more tense than RE cuz u cant carry extra ammo or helth around
6. Resident Evil 4, & FEAR
Sumone should pls review Dead island, heard dat Metro is pretty scarry too.

Well 6gb should take u half a month, maybe more. but it still depends on the kind of online game. All games with online play are divided into two parts, the client which u install on ur computer, nd the server which holds additional data, account info, game statistics, player input tracking nd stuff e.g for FIFA or StreetFighter, the whole game is already on ur harddrive so u wont need much bandwith for play, unless ur playing on a new stadium or with new kits dat didnt come installed, those will automatically download from the server, and u only need to do it once, u can decide not to in sum cases, in which u wont see the new stuff saving u some data, eg in quake arena, u have to download new maps from the server to play on them with others but but can decide not to allow automatic download of extra textures like new player models or gun models, in this case the game will just use d default.
I suggest u run a test wit ur first 6gb nd see how much data u use per day & on which game. Masssive multiplayer rpgs like World of warcraft wit tons of stuff to track nd update r bad news.
Yes lest i forget, lowering ur resoultion nd graphics settings also helps for smoother online play

yea, used to play quake live & unreal tournament, loads of fun, best part of online play is u learn new moves nd tips by watching others, esp the mad pros, even recorded sum games. Anyways it all boils down to ur ping, which is the speed at which ur pc communicates wit their server, d lower ur ping, d faster ur connection nd d smoother ur gameplay experience, u really dont need any special connection, swift or anytin better will do, i actuall used to play online wit starcomms till outrageously high pings made me eat my modem

Need for speed left the competition permanently behind with NFS 3 - Hot pursuit and sealed it with NFS 9 - Most Wanted.
Yeah, I have played every need for speed game except NFS 4 - High stakes and the only beautiful letdowns (gameplay & storywise) are NFS 7 - Underground & NFS 12 - Undercover.

The gameplay is awesome, the races even more so, but I can only say so much, some things you just have to see for yourself.
I personally recommend the following titles: NFS 9 - Most Wanted, NFS 10 - Carbon, NFS - Hot Pursuit 2010 and NFS - The Run, Play them in this order if you can. Every NFS game is a totally different experience.

The only worthy competitors I can personally vouch for are:

1. Collin McRae Dirt Series (1,2,3)
2. TOCA Race Driver Series
3. Midnight Club 2 (The only game I probably played more than NFS)
4. Burnout Paradise (My favourite when I get fits of road rage)
5. Insane 2 (Just like burnout but off-road)

I've heard some good things about Blur, sadly most racing games are too linear with little reason to keep playing, graphics isn't everything

Racing Games You Should Avoid, unless you're desperate and have nothing else:

1. Juiced 2
2. Split Second
3. Grid (Just play NFS Shift or Shift 2 instead), all those complaining about realism, NFS is an arcade racer like Burnout with occasional Pure Sim releases like ProStreet and Shift 2 that beat GRID hands down, even in the crashes.
