Lautech went from a university in a state of comatose yesterday to a zoo in an animal kingdom. After spending 7 years in school, the Management in connivance with the ever-wicked ASUU chose to deny recent 500 level graduates their statement of results that would have ensured they resumed in their various camps yesterday even after many of those students have been already mobilized with genuine call up letters. Even after we've begged all the stakeholders for many weeks, we were still denied of our genuine rights on the basis of non-release of any of our 500 semesters results. Funnyingly, the first semester was concluded in April, while the 2nd semester was concluded August. Can wickedness be more extreme Yesterday we chose to protest peacefully after we got to finally know the wicked inhumane agbayas weren't ready to let us make progress but were only interested in bringing in more freshers into their zoo of an enclave. We didnt attack anyone but locked the gates of the campus to prevent any of the staffs from leaving or entering the campus. If we can't go for an nysc that is already overdue for our set, then there was no point allowing the school to be at rest. After successfully standing our ground by not opening any of the gates leading to the school, the stupid, heartless cultist in the person of Dr Adewale (interestingly a senatorial candidate in oyo state), the Dean of Student Affairs brought in members of his cult group (Including Lautech sug pro Parrot, Amanio of Anb and Laurel, the unfortunate sug president) who were armed with axes, cutlasses and even guns to come and attack students at every entrance. Can an already low school get lower than this? Can a self-proclaimed PhD holder be more unfortunate?? Does anyone still need more facts to show lautech is a zoo? Is it negotiable to assert the wickedness and madness of Lautech ASUU less by Dr Biodun Olaniyan?? We are already down, but let it be known to the whole world that we aren't out yet. Lautech has continually proven to a non-existent school and we will aid its efforts to completely run down the school to the face of the whole world. May every single person involved in this fracas never know peace and may all their generations including those unborn suffer for all the pains they ve made class '17 go through.

Statistically, the available Nigerian universities can't carter for the teeming 1.5 million candidates seeking admission yearly. Your proposal would only fall on deaf ears because as it stands now, some fox are just out to be called "university students" after several years of retaking JAMB.

It is very true that LAUTECH should not be regarded as a citadel of higher learning anymore because it has failed woefully in its statutory obligation. Isn't it ironic that one oblivious ranking body called webometric has presented LAUTECH the state owned school in Nigeria. It shows how much of a junk many of these rankings are.

Its recent participation in yet another show of force by those set of unproductive old men parading as ASUU gives ASUU-LAUTECH away completely as insensitive, unrepentant and unprogressive lot.
