I had to create a new account for this thread. Please try to read everything, so you would know what to say

When I got the big job online that paid roughly $1,500 per month, money became surplus. I began to polish and furnish her with everything she needs to look good. She responded well to the spending and within months she dressed and looked like the daughter of a politician. During all this time, I never thought to invest or even polish myself to look better. I was only focused on her happiness.

Bro that your girlfriend was selfish. Being selfish is an indecent behavior.

Please don't be selfish. Share the kind of work you did online. PM me, if you can't post it here.

Lol, I wonder where you got that quote from but I'm definitely not trying it out again. I'm a reserved person by nature, I actually stepped outside my comfort zone, that ain't happening again.

That you are reserved doesn't mean you shouldn't ask for what you want.

I'm just saying if you see a guy you like again, don't hesitate to ask him out.

Not outrightly, but I got the message and to think he was giving me green light from the beginning. That sorta thing dampens someone's self esteem. I kept asking my self if there was anything wrong with me or maybe something I did wrong?

Now you know how guys feel, lol.tongue

But seriously tho, you shouldn't let it get to you. There are a lot of reasons a guy would turn down your advances and most times it has nothing to do with you. Plus you seem like someone that'd be cool to hang out with.

I read a quote that says "A woman who is still confident to ask another guy out after facing rejection is bound to succeed in life"

Celebrities / Re: Nigerians Reacts As Cardi B Wins Grammy Over Nicki Minaj by Makenno(m): 11:36pm On Feb 11, 2019
IdreamOfUnicorn:
The only reason why Cardi B won a Grammy before Nicki Minaj is only because of the Era. Nicki was competing with Male Rappers that are beast in the game during her prime. Cardi B right now is only competing with trap rappers calling themselves new skool.

Kinda true, except Nicki and Cardi are now in the same era, but from my perspective Cardi b is currently outdoing her.

Nicki should take advice from Drizzy I didn't really like her Queen album.

Who is the best PAC Nas and Biggie? Ain't no best!!!!

Revenge is the best medicine
Increase the dose, from least to most
And then tell the Grammys to go and Bleep themselves
They suck the blood from all the biggest artists like some leeches
So they nominate 'em, get 'em there, get a name to MC the show
Every parasite needs a host (haha)
Then give Album of the Year to somebody that no one's ever even heard of
All I know is I wrote every single word to
Everything I ever murdered
Time to separate the sheep from goats (yeah)
And I got no faith in your writers, I don't believe in ghosts

Lol, he is my mentor
All those rappers deserve atleast a Grammy, but the Grammy doesn't use public vote, they have members who vote.

The Recording Academy's voting membership is comprised solely of music creators, including artists, engineers, producers and songwriters. Voting Members are automatically qualified to vote online during each of the two balloting periods.

My Earnest issue with White America(Controls d Grammys obviously) is this , Black rappers talk about guns, weed, bitches and you will never give them a Grammy because they feel it would corrupt the populace, but A rapper Luke Eminem talks all round sicko stuffs , like killing his mom , dogs, choking people etc and they go ahead and dish out Grammys to him. I just don't understand the double standard America shows Everytime .

I'm not sure if the Grammy is white controlled, it does not use public vote, MJ won 8 grammys in one night.
The Grammy is a peer-to-peer award, just look up who votes.

M&M lyrics are all criticised all the time

Parents don't let their children listen to him song unless they are censored.

Feminist criticize his lyrics but ladies still love him

Homosexuals attack him for his homophobic lyrics yet he still has a lot fan all over USA

He was criticised for taking shots at MJ that everyone loved that did not ruin his career.

and many more.

*quoting his lyrics in renegade*

Usin' his music to steer it, sharin' his views and his merits?/
But there's a huge interference/
They're sayin' you shouldn't hear it/
Maybe it's hatred I spew, maybe it's food for the spirit/
Maybe it's beautiful music I made for you to just cherish/
But I'm debated, disputed, hated and viewed in America/

No denying that fact, hip pop is for blacks, but Eminem got his recognition because he is exceptional, he better than some black rappers I know.

I don't think Macklemore will ever sell what Eminem has sold.

White Audience helps Eminem with those sales. African Americans are just 11percent of USA population. So Eminem obviously have the edge.

Yeah and almost all those Grammy were won by his songs alone and not features.

Kanye West may have won 21 or so but most of them are from songs which he was featured in.

lol...how could you have asked for her number with just two questions you asked her?
I ran out of things to say, and I'd always thought the goal of wooing was getting the number.
Right now when I woo a girl my main objective is to flirt or discuss something deep(this is very rare), I don't ask for her number until I see her up three or four times (if I like her).
But if I just want to befriend her i'll ask for her number straight up.

infant post: EPISODE 23

According to what
I read in the book. when you
approach a lady who seems to
be busy and don't want any
disturbance, you don't have to
distract her by saying "hi".
Just sit quietly beside her and
wait until she notice your
presence.
I followed the instruction from
the book and sat quietly beside
her. she looked up from the
book she was reading when
she realized I was sitting
beside her. she stared at me
for a while and turned her
gaze back to the book she was
reading. I didn't stared back at
her when she stared at me. I
just kept staring into air with
an expressionless look on my
face. that was also the
guideline from the book.
she shot me a side glance after
a while, maybe wondering why
I chose to sit beside her out of
all the chairs in the class, but I
pretend I didn't notice. she
seemed to be distracted
already.
I have to proceed to the next
step from the book. According
to the book I read. 'don't try to
distract a lady with words,
when she's busy. let your
presence beside her, act as her
distraction. when she is
distracted, you can now say
hello.'

"hi" I finally said

"hi" she responded

I made sure that I maintained
eye contact with her. that was also the instruction from the book I read. A lady can easily
know that you are not
confident speaking to her, if
you can't maintain eye contact.

"I hope I'm not disturbing you.
I saw that this is the only quiet
place I can read without any
disturbance, that was why I
came in" I said

"oh, not at all. you are not
disturbing me" she responded.

"you're an engineering student
right?" I asked

"yes" she responded.

"I always admire ladies that
are studying engineering
courses." I said

" so what course are you studying?" she asked

"Economics" I answered

"oh, I have a friend in that
department" she said

"what's her name?" I asked

"a guy actually" she said

"oh. I see. what's his name" I
asked

"Frank" she answered

I really couldn't believe that I
could keep a conversation with
a lady for this long. All to
sylvia for the book she gave
me.

"so what engineering course are you
studying actually?" I asked

"computer engineering" she
responded.

"wow! I initially wanted to
study computer engineering
while growing up. I just had to
change my mind because I
realize I don't have passion for
it" I lied

"computer engineering is an
interesting course" she said

"so what made you chose the course?" I asked.

"I have passion for it" she
responded.

I took a side glance at the door
and saw Mustack peeping from
the door.
I turned back to face the lady beside me with smiles on my
face.

"I have lecture in the next ten
minutes. let me leave now so that I will get to the class on
time" I said

"okay" she responded

I stood up, took just two steps
away from her and turned
back to face her.

"sorry, you didn't tell me your name" I said "I'm Precious" she responded.

"okay precious, I'm Christian"
I said

"okay Christian" she
responded.

I turned and walked out of the
class with smiles on my face.
the first thing I did when I
came out of the class was to
collect my phone back from
Mustack.

The first time I tried to woo a girl was quite embarrassing lol, I was 15 then and I was sitting for waec GCE.
In my center there was this girl, she was very attractive and she looked older than I was.
So one day after we were done with the day's paper
I was walking with two of my friends, and I signaled to them when i saw her entering a classroom
I was like "guys look at that girl, that's my crush"
One of them says I should go meet her and ask her number, the other one said I shouldn't waste my time she won't give me her number.

The thing pained me I asked one of them for his phone (cause I didn't have as at that time).
The girl was in the classroom she was busy with her phone.
i was afraid but I can't abort the mission because
It was a new experience for me and I had always wanted to try it.
When I got to the girl:

**Me vibrating like iron they flogged with stick**

"Hi" I said
She looks up and says hi

"So how was today's paper?" I asked
"It was ok"

"That's good, how about the physics"

"it was ok" she answered

"can I have your number?" I said, because I ran out of things to say.
She says ok

"i'm ready" I said

She calls the number but I was typing it really slow cause I my hands were shaking and I wasn't paying much attention, my attention was focused on how i was shaking and the girl can probably see it.

"kai you have killed yourself see the way you are shaking you shouldn't have done this" I said to myself.

The girl noticed my condition I think and asked me for the phone, she took it and typed her number, me very nervous to get out, ran out as soon as she gave it back.
When I was out, my friends where hailing me
"did she give you her number" one said
I said yes
"where is it?" the owner of the phone said taking the phone from me.
"You didn't save it, what is her name?" the owner of the phone asked.
Sh*t I didn't ask for her name I said to myself

"Wait lemme ask her" I said as i went into the class again
One of them said behind
"Chineke, so you don't know her name"
I entered the classroom she was still with her phone

"Sorry I didn't get your name"
"Chinaza" she said

I didn't introduce myself cause I didn't know it was the right thing to do, I just left her.

Outside the dude who owns the phone didn't want to release the number, I just let him have since I wasn't going to call her anyways, but I started dodging her ever since.

My friends say I always have a story for everything, but I wouldn't have if I don't experience them.

Pls someone should help me.
I am also shy and i have tried not to be shy but i have failed many times.
It has been like dat since i was born.
Girls do say i am shy, and i know it even my family complain.
My goal is to become an artist cause i have the talent and i know a musician must not be shy.
My shyness is natural (from birth).
I am currently seeking admission into the university.
This is real so pls i need your help and advice. Thanks

I feel your pain I was there before, I can't help you with the girls stuff but the music part.
You can start by singing another artist's hit song on stage (first with your friends, then keep increasing the audience once your confidence builds up)

if you are afraid ask someone to accompany you up stage, you could take
the verse (preferably one verse) and the person you are with (Someone that is bold and popular)will take the hook.

Keep performing with the person till you feel confident enough to start going up on your own
That's how I got rid of my stage fright

But the main thing behind the success was the support my secondary school mates gave me.
The first day I performed for them, they were just flowing with me it helped boost the confidence, the whole place was crazy.

N.B: this won't get rid of your shyness completely but it will help a lot,
just as it helped me, from performing to a class of 40 to Unilag's orientation lecture with up to 5 faculties in attendance Last year at multipurpose hall(who knows what event I'll be performing in next)
So Goodluck, Start small.

VIDEO: Young Man Loses His Manh00d After Giving Money To A Beggar At Ikeja Along In Lagos

SHOCKING STORY: An unnamed Nigerian man, according to Facebook user, Promise Ivy, was this evening rushed to an undisclosed hotel at the Ikeja area of Lagos state after his manh00d allegedly disappeared from his body when he gave the beggar, pictured above, money to assist him.

It was gathered that after giving arms to the beggar, who was sitting somewhere around Ikeja along, he immediately noticed something left his body. He was said to have cried out attracting the attention of other passers-by who intervened and held the beggar so he won’t escape.

The victim was then taken to a hotel in the area to test his manh00d for a possible er3ction, while the angry mob held the beggar hostage.

It was not disclosed what eventually happened after he was taken to the hotel and the fate of the accused beggar also remain unknown as at press time.

This happened in a private school, during the time 2go was trending.
Our civic teacher was taking a topic on cultism, and he called out people that would likely be cultist when they enter uni (silent killers types) and I was included and everyone was laughing
That day I gathered the others, he mentioned, and I came up with a plan to open a 2go account to terrorise them (pirate 7)
To cut the long story short, most of them were scared, I caused some break ups, and I reported to the civic teacher when it got out of hand, it lasted for 2 days

Nigerians do not recognize/appreciate rappers. They're mostly interested in repetitive danceable Ghana beats from Mr Eazi, Tecno, Sarkodie, Runtown and other "bend down select" artistes.

Vector already gave some lines for thoughts like yours in one of his old songs - Kilode;

you aint got a problem with pype and sean paul - nah!
M.I. kanye and weezy not at all - nah!
you aint got a problem with d'banj and durella
but when it comes to vector tha viper and roca fella?
you fellas go crazy on me (crazy)
but it's okay when terry g gives you the same beat
it's okay when timaya gives the same sh. it
it's okay when p. square makes a hit from a pre-made hit

am i wrong doing me?
record labels telling me to do the regular
so how am I supposed to be spectacular?/ vanacular?

but every body's doing that
it's like a prostitute "every body's doing that" (lol)
oluwa oh you are - the reason i am me -
see we (ci wi)- dummies - they don't understand

This song for me is one of the most brilliant, inspiring, and thought provoking songs from a Nigerian artist

Sure, we all love to dance, but puleassseee, sometimes we get really tired of same 30 billion for akannt sh!t and other fuc..kery from the likes of small doctor.
