Hi all,
I will be in El Paso next month. I need advise on which hospital to use. Has anyone used Del Sol or Sierra Providence. Please i need to know which is better? Thank you.

Both hospitals are the same. When I was there two people wanted to switch from Del Sol to Sierra but I think this was due to accommodations.

So how many babies do you have? you said TWINS when you gave us the first visa interview transcript and now your birth announcement says " i just had my baby", no mother would mistake " baby" for " Babies" . which one you no dai? i have gone through your post and i see you kinda intentionally discredit MIHS, hmmm...

Thank you. One baby, only a small scare upon arrival since my doctor was sure I was having twins. When we arrived the doctor could not detect the second baby which was confirmed with the scan. I had to pay for the additional scan but I guess in the end it all turned out for the best.

I put it to you that you are a marketer for this coy, lol. With all the glowing narrative. Checked your poSts And there waS no real poe or visa interview narrative. The only transcript you had was just to pull down MIHS nothing more. Even though you fooled everyone be aware that some readers are not fooled. I can see there are real people using this hospital but I doubt you are one of them, keep up the hustle.lol

LOL!!!! So true, I should definitely be getting a commission!!!! Actually I never posted my interview because I knew it would look like I was a marketer! wink I wanted to contribute since I received info from this forum, but im definitely erasing my comment.

Hi everyone,

Reporting from El Paso Doctoresparati, just had my baby this past weekend and was treated really well by the staff. One very interesting point that I might mention is that Monday I had the opportunity to check my account balance and was shocked to see my bill was $22,381.00!!!!shocked This was only the hospital package that is mentioned on the doctoresparati website as $2700, not including the Doctors fee. I contacted Melissa (whom I had been in contact with from doctoresparati.com) and she mentioned that this was correct that the normal price is not what international patients pay and that my balance would be adjusted (she gave me instructions on receiving zero balance statement). When my sister went to pick up the zero balance letter, it had no pending charges, so I was really happy.

We are in the process of moving to a different hotel since my mother in law is arriving soon and we need a more space but there seems to be more and more people arriving from Naija in the last 2 weeks and the people that are already here have been really helpful. One important detail if you are traveling to El Paso, do your homework on the weather, we were told by family in Minnesota that it is very cold in the US in December so we packed heavy coats and winter clothes, but the weather is very comfortable in El Paso so we have a lot of winter clothes that we did not use. As of now we are awaiting birth certificate, I will try to post as much information on my experience as possible (Passport/visa). By His grace all things are possible!!!!

Update:

I have arrived at El Paso with a bit of a delay in Houston because of some food items I had. I had applied and was denied for my visa before when I was enrolled for another hospital and re-applied with Doctores para ti letter and was approved with no issues. After the delay at Houston I arrived on Monday to El Paso and got hotel at Ramada which is very close to hospital and there are several newly mothers and mothers to be which have been very helpful. Hospital is very nice and I have already enrolled in the free maternity classes offered. Im in a bit of a hurry but will give a better update as soon Im more settled in and SLEEP, it was a looong trip to the US

Nightnigeria1: Wow!!!!!! shocked Im a bit relieved about the price adjustment since I was undecided between doctoresparati.com and MIHS.

Although I was already registerred at doctoresparati.com due to ratings mentioned by some members here, and because of the distance from the hospital to the hotel (related to taxi fees), and comunication with them.

I was already "enrolled" with doctoresparati.com, now I think its definately a no brainer (for us) and I hardly think there is any kind of "war" between any of the hospitals...

Is there anybody there late October thru November? We're plannning on staying at Ramada. El Paso, here we come!

Nightnigeria,
If I'm approved I will definitely be in El Paso at Doctoresparati during part of your timespan. I have already been contacted by 7 people from this forum and have been told there is always a very big number of Nigerian patients so do not worry. Did you change from MIHS?

Tvegas:

Sorry about your denial. Truth is majority of VO's love genuine and cheerful spenders on their economy. Trust me, They've seen hospital quotes of 10k, 20k etc so Presenting a miserly delivery letter of $3k may not sit well with some. As a rule of thumb I will advice future applicants to go with a minimum of 12k to 15k budget with the delivery portion hovering around 7k minimum. The higher that portion is the better. El paso gave me a 5k quote but I increased it to 7k on the budget the VO saw. The aim is to show that I am up to the task. Since The denial is based on MIHS letter get a higher quote from another hospital and apply at the same consulate. Wish you the best.

NB: On another note ma'am you just registered on NL spending just 20mins and my mischevious mind kept wondering "hope no one is trying to settle scores with MIHS letter since I brought EL PASO letter under the radar". grin? . I know those 2 places have die hard fans and aggressive marketers here . Dont mind my thinking o,it can be funny. One love. grin

LOL! Thank you Tvegas. Well then I sincerely hope to get paid for my marketing!!! We will be doing the interview again and I have enrolled with doctoresparati.com (thanks to your recommendation!). Hopefully Gods grace shines on us and finds it in our destiny to have our baby in the US. Communication has been very straight forward and easy. Wish us luck and Gods favor!

Hello Forum members. I have been following this thread for a while and want to thank all the forum members who have contributed to this forum. I feel I need to post now since I am unsure what I should do next and ask for this forum's valuable advice. I have just been denied my visa after being extremely prepared for our interview. The interview was going very well yet I was told my documentation was not sufficient when I showed my documentation from the Hospital (I chose MIHS). I am very confused because the VO was very polite until I showed her my paperwork where she immediately took my documents and showed it to another officer. I could tell from watching that their attitude was not favorable and when she came back said my visa was denied Can I re-apply? How soon?

VO:Hello how are you doing and what is your purpose for traveling to the US? We are well. We are expecting twins and want to travel to the US for our delivery.
VO: Oh, thats great. Why are you having your baby in the US? Because the medical services are safer and because of the special needs that a twin delivery requires.
VO: Yes, I can see that why you would want to be safe. Do you have any supporting documents or letters from your hospital or doctor? I gave her the papers I had from MIHS (her expression changed immediately and this is when she left to speak with the other VO).
VO: Your visa has been denied.

We are very upset but we want to re-apply. We thought Our interview was going well but we aren't sure we want to try with MIHS. Can we change destination on our next interview?
