What is happening to the social media this evening. First it was my Facebook that they signed me out. I believe an agbado hacker is trying out something. Now it is two serial fake news from nairaland. The first was NBS saying unemployment in Nigeria has dropped to 4.1% and now it's this one. |

Politics / Their Game Plans 2: A New Nigeria Is Possible. by manny88ng2000: 7:55am On Dec 12, 2022 |
I wonder how people rewire their brains to enjoy making mockery of the truth as well as leaders who have excelled in governance instead of cajoling bad politicians who have either failed in governance or are already brain dead with recourse to their age or way of lives the must have lived during their salad days when they were green with health. Let me start by thanking the Admin and all the Nairalanders who make one or two input here. I don't write often. I am quite a regular reader over the years. I read beautiful headlines and stories and most especially, I first read the comments before reading the main story. Reason that, I like to see it, first from the comments section and its wide range of perspectives. I DO NOT like to call names or gullible in respecting the will or position of another person. So will try not to use words that may insight anger leading to bereavement of information. Please @Nairalanders, if you have some few answers, I will be needing them on these questions below: 1. How was your #nigeria of yesterday and what is your Nigeria of today? 2. To develop is to think in that direction. How do you project, pitch, make the foundation upon which your children will inherent. What will be your legacy standi? 3. What factors do you consider in governance, taking Nigeria as a case study, are necessary for consideration at this moment? 4. how do you consider politicians in terms of mindsets, state of mind, cognitive as well as physical alertness, mental health, etc.? 5. how do you look at governance in terms of equity and fairness? 6. What's your view on governance in terms of religion, ethnicity and tribe differences? 7. What's your rating so far in terms of transparency, accountability and accessibility when it comes to the gladiators we have in the race? 8. So far so good, you have heard them talk from one Town Hall to the other, whose economic policies or postulates do you think will take us to a greater Nigeria? Please let us make Nigeria a better Nigeria. She is our country, our home and the mother of our birth. She is is the greatest gift we can ever have for our children. We owe ourselves to set aside religion even when it should be considered because we have been playing it as a game since I know Nigeria and it has never worked. Let us replace it with character. We owe ourselves to set aside 'it is my turn' or 'it is our turn'. Let us replace it with competence. Commitment to the task is what nigerians need now. A leader who is committed, accessible and responsive. Let us all be wiser, by now, they could have brought out their expired and repackaged covid 19 palliative. People are very wicked

Politics / THEIR GAME PLANS (1) Xraying Politics In Nigeria by manny88ng2000: 7:01pm On Dec 10, 2022 |
THEIR GAME PLANS #TheirGamePlans #theirgameplans #share #ShareThisPost I truly pray and look forward to having Mr. Peter Obi as the President of our new Nigeria .If we miss him, I had wished we didn't miss Professor Yemi Osinbajo. Irrespective of his low performance as VP, I strongly believe, if giving the chance, he would have become one of the finest African presidents, if not the world best. Osinbanjo or Peter Obi is a win for Nigeria. But they robbed us of Osinbanjo, they can't rob us of Peter Obi. He is our only hope now. This has nothing to do with tribe, religion or party. I get sense. Ergo cognito sum. Sometimes I just taya for this Nigeria, just open primary election, Our man before wey go live for Dubai use money buy all the delegates. The other one kukuma buy contestants. Same old politics of braindead leaders. For people promoting and supporting bad governance in their ignorance, the breakfast dey cook...I believe Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan in a deleted post at his #Twitter handle has shown you the game plan in case you never knew. I have always known that #Shettima is their first projection. Atiku is their fallback. But the people woke up sooner than they anticipated and took over the show. Their panic is intense now. So they will release hoodlums to act like unknown gunmen, infiltrate the south with one form of action or the other. Some will claim #ESN and #IPOB and make mayhem and then they will send Force on us. Its already happening in APC states who are loyal to the government like my State, Imo State . Then it will pain us and will force us to say no election in the southeast or southwest. Then they will count their own vote and call winner. They need to get South south. Rivers State for a perfect dealing. So they are wooing Wike and wike is using them to catch cruise. Wike will outwit them and find a safe landing...a more peaceful and accommodating place where he will pitch his tent. I like the man, moreso, he is hearing the voice if the masses and observing trends. Old political tactics will fail them and I'm sure they know by now. Young ones and even elders have risen beyond tribal, cultural and religious sentiments and are poised to contributing their quota towards achieving a new Nigeria. They know that a vote for Obi/Datti is a vote for not only a new Nigeria but also, a productive and prosperous Nigeria. They will infiltrate us. They will push us to concentrate at a point, we will be do entrapped. Then they will declare mayhem on us. Then hunger will set in and those who will sell out, will. However, these cannot happen if we dont allow it. Get your #PVC today. #INEC has reassured us again and again. Know where you belong today. The true enemy of Nigeria is that man or woman who is sponsoring terrorism against his own brothers and sisters. The true enemy of Nigeria is that person supporting a bad leader for continuity. The true enemy of our country Nigeria is that person who is not working for a new and productive Nigeria. The true enemy of Nigeria is that person who does not believe that we can have a leadership that can move us from consumption to production. God Bless #Nigeria. My dear brother, committing suicide isn't an option. I think we are on the same page except for Prefer sleeping alone that she doesn't want someone body to touch her. Or fo I say mine is even worse as I feel I battle supremacy between myself and her girlfriend over her. Our own incompatibility is so much that I dont think it crosses my mind to take her out. So right now, my plans are to ensure I push her abroad with my two kids and calm down to rearrange my life. nokia1000: 3 Likes |

Brother man, Obi is very different. We need all of us to push Nigeria forward. Remember, Thomas, Judas and Mathew a tax collector was among the 12 disciples. Remember also that the persecutor of the Christians, Paul became the highest sharer of the gospel. What we are clamouring for is good leadership and a better Naija. Of you don't believe that Obi will perform best among all, hmmm. Make I no talk wetin dey my mouth. Sannisege: |

Brother I don't agree with you on this. Whatever that's worth doing is really worth doing well. Mere looking at the two ballot papers, one would agree with me that much ink was used in the Nigerians version. That apart, the amount of money demanded by INEC is even more than enough to modify the paper for more clarity and understanding. SmartPolician: |

It has always been my ernest prayer that nigeria rises up again hence the reason why we all should get our pvc handy, come out en masse to cast our vote. The system is not as corrupt as it used to be. INEC knows it needs to perform it's duty diligently or face the consequences of the Nigerian youths labouring to ensure she rises up again. God will not only punish your father for your ill fate. God will punish will punish this our government too. They're the major cause of your problem. They keep you away from school and can't even provide a good legal base for you sue your father. What a failure. But brother never give up. Nah who give up carry last. If there's something I like about Okonkwo in THINGS FALL APART by Chinua Achebe, it was his dire zeal not to become like his father the coward. Never fail because your father did. Look at his mistakes and modify from there. Failure44: |

Broda you that knows how to put your literacy in good use by writing a full thesis. I thought when problems of this sort is identified, you explore, critique and come up with a feasible solution. You're even aware that the entire world if frowning at the high rate of carbon emissions and then you proffer that the use of coal be an alternative panacea to our problem. If your brothers and those people you're sympathizing with didn't put us in such a condition as to completely wade off our refineries, how could Ukraine-Russia war be affecting us? Are we Europeans who depend on Russia for oil? What is Nigeria's place in mineral and petroleum exploration and exploitation? Are we also importing food from Russia? Are you aware that the state of the country is like a mother who gives off the little food meant for her household to quench hunger only to pocket the money for herself. Until we wake up as youths and think deep into how these greediots called our leaders have milked us, until we realize that there isn't a safe place in the country for us and for our unborn children if we don't do the right thing today, until then, we're still wallowing in shear ignorance. For your information, 1kg of gas in my area is 1000 naira as at today. A crate of egg is something shameful that I can't even say the price. Yet, minimum wage is even difficult to pay to workers. Economy is at standstill and education is on the halt. Yet your brothers siphon our Nigeria money in billions and trillions. Please to all common man out there, we no go die. Just do the needful come 2023. Get your PVC and come out and vote. Whether we want Oduduwa kingdom, Biafran Nation or Arewa Nation, come out and vote in the person of your choice. It is when the leader who have same ideology as you do comes to the seat, your choice of music will be danced to. Anything we have to do, let us converge our focus towards electing someone with clear vision, a young, energetic, healthy and vibrant leader like to turn out ship to the right coarse before it capsizes. Check developed countries and thriving countries like France, Ukraine, China, Japan, even here in Africa, look at Rwanda. An old man with life support has nothing to offer be he's brain dead. A man who is not educated and doesn't understand the econometrics of leadership isn't fit. We don't need people who have criminal cases here and there to lead us. Shine your eyes ooo.
