Transactional sex is not worth it at all.

Why pay for sex with someone you don't know? It is demeaning and you won't even enjoy it cos no feelings.

Beware of strange women....It is better to masturbate than to pay a hoe.
no feelings? Man's prick nerve endings are being stimulated by a warm vag giving him ecstasy and you're saying no feelings? sad

to go and suffer, in real sense that's 200 cedis is 200,000 cedi, the Ghanaian economy is worst than Nigeria, to make that 200 cedi no be beans

VERY EASY to make 200 cedi. 'By-day' labourer work for building construction is 100 cedi, 120 cedi or even more in some cases. Master takes 30 cedi more. What's true and you should know is Ghana money is easy to make, easy to spend

Report yourself to the police. Or search for 'Befe's space ' on YouTube. She's a Nigerian youtuber based in Ghana, she'd help. Or find the closest 'Nigeria church ' nearby like the MFMs, RCG etc and get help

It's not a must

Where did Jesus command Christians to fast.....and how long did he say the fasting should last?

Matthew 9:14 Then the disciples of John came to him, saying, “Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?” 15 And Jesus said to them, “Can the wedding guests mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? The days will come when the bridegroom is taken away from them, and then they will fast.
Etc etc. I won't quote all the scriptures on fasting. Bottomline is if you're a proper christian AND IS BAPTIZED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT, he'd show you the benefits of fasting, the proper way to fast, pray etc. True Christianity goes beyond rote learning of christian literature, we have a holy ghost that's a living being that can be gotten by christians and helps ease the christian life

Any fasting that's not done for health reason is a scam and a waste of time.
Those that thinks fasting makes their prayers to be heard or their desires fulfilled are 100% delusional.
Tell me as a parent, would you let your children starve first before you give them what they are requesting for, if truly you can meet their demand?
This one died for nothing.

Man is made of body, spirit and soul. You strengthen the physical body with food, exercise, you strengthen the spirit with fasting, prayers, meditation. When you fast, the flesh is weakened the spirit is strengthened. Why did Jesus and co fast?

I was in Ghana for studies. Your food can cause alot of gastrointestinal issues; such as kooko, ulcers etc.. I love the angwa mo you wrote about, but I take it with beef tomatoe stew not the raw grinded pepper..
Stomach ulcers are caused by bacteria and abuse of painkillers not by spicy food etc. Ghanaians we eat raw ground peppers and the cooked ones in equal measure and Ghanaians are masters at food combinations, so trust our food combinations, no matter how odd some may seem. grin Many of ur foods may not look attractive, I won't lie, but they're nice. Have an open mind and try them you'd be glad

Then you're majoring on the minor since you can easily get your vitamin C from FRUITS..

The major
1. Some other nutrients in them are brought out by heat.
2. The antinutrients in tomatoes and peppers are destroyed by heat.
3. Raw onions are too harsh for most people's stomach and can do physical damage, especially if you have ulcer. Better to steam it lightly.
Thing is we eat both cooked and uncooked 'stew' in equal measure so no problems. In fact we overcook our soups etc so if we get to eat raw uncooked 'stew' for a balance/change, we like it

Why do you think raw tomatoes, peppers and onions are healthier than fried ones?
I know vitamin c in them is easily lost to heat.

To be honest, you people hardly do.
Leafy vegetables are not an integral part of Ghanaian cuisine.

As for that angwa mo, I'm going to try making that soon.
I'm actually agreeing with him, and also adding that our 'healthier go tos' are the raw ground tomatoes, onions and peppers instead of always frying them and thereby reducing their 'healthiness' like you people tend to do.
In Ghana it's usually people in our northern parts who heavily patronize leafy greens

Oh MJ...

I don't have a biased mind towards food. I normally like to try new food. Different cultures. Anything. So I am not rejecting.

Cocoyam leaf is a delicacy in ghana o. It's called contomere and I once heard a Nigerian presenter on radio argue with another Ghanian presenter that no one eats it in Nigeria and its poor people food the way they attacked her. Even though I noticed she was trying to be careful with her words.

They really don't have leaves in ghana. Although depending on the area one resides. Cabbage and lettuce is more common. Imagine cooking Egusi with cabbage or lettuce.

They will be exited... They are always proud of what they have. I once heard a Ghanian say banku is the best food in the WORLD... Someone who has never traveled out of Ghana before. (Which I like them for their patriotism)

I don really suffer for food matter though... I have a dentist friend who we once went to market to buy stuff together. We bought stuff... G/oil, tomatoes, pepper etc. Me thinking we were going to cook stew and rice.

Only for him to boil rice and and start using their local mortar to mash pepper, tomatoes and onions. Which is the black bowl in the picture and serves as a mortar for blending and plate or bowl for eating. (which is basically the stuff in the picture you posted) when he started adding the vegetable oil I asked him what he was doing he said he was making stew. It was late but I insisted he fry and cook the pepper Abi sauce the normal way before we ate that night. Imagine just boiling rice and add ground pepper and tomatoes with oil.

I don't know if it has a different name... But everyone calls it pepper with whatever maybe because they know I am Nigerian.

I will find out if it has a different local name!
You saying Ghanaians we don't eat leafy vegetables etc. We're eating raw ground tomatoes, peppers and onions which's healthier than frying these vegetables in oil like you like to do, that one too you don't like? You people eat raw garden eggs etc. the 'braised rice (angwa mo literally oil rice) with raw ground pepper etc is very nice

Just this today Sunday I ate cocoyam leaves...

And banku.

Now I have eaten this combination before.(cocoyam leaves and banku) I had my throat scratching me through out the day the first time.

The second time I saw it at a restaurant I ordered it... Because it looked enticing because they added Egusi. I had same effect or result- itchy throat.

Now back to today I was with this person. And she managed to convince me that cocoyam leaves don't cause scratching throat.... According to her maybe it wasn't prepared very well the first and second time I ate ... Hers was different and would not be same.

Ok... Let me try.

So she brings 2 wrapped bankus and... well, some cocoyam leaves mixed with Egusi. Looked really good. Most Ghanian dishes (my opinion) doesn't really look good. This one looks good to go. So I decide inside me... yeah, she is right. Here's is a different mix. Probably home made.

So I dip the banku in the soup and swallow, left for about 2 morsels of banku. But end up with a damn scratchy throat. She ends up consoling me and recommends I get some syrup, or sweet at a pharmacy which I forget the name now. (I didn't get, but OK now.)

Now to your picture... It's just ground pepper and onions in that mix. Maybe a bit of shitoh at the side I see.

I have eaten this mix before and I can tell you it's just bland old peppers. The only thing exciting here will be the fish. That's all.

I personally think Ghanaians just cook and eat just to survive. Not for any form of variety or to make eating interesting. I get bored just thinking of their meals and eating becomes a chore. That is me personally.

Looking at the picture I just think we fantasize about things we don't have or never tried before. That is why the grass is always greener on the other side.

I mean, who would think anyone would ever fantasize about eating peppers and fish? 🤷

Seems very basic!

Cocoyam leaves stew goes well with yam, plantain, rice not banku. No proper Ghanaian does that combination. When cocoyam leaves are old they tend to itch the throat. Fresher younger leaves don't itch

Russians are no better than the USA that people love to hate. Russia, China are no better alternatives to the USA. In fact 'democratic' USA should be preferred to Russia and co because in the event of 'mistreatment', civil /human rights people of USA would stand up for you and make sure justice is served

Same can't be said of 'undemocratic' Russia, China and co.

He for doing what, if I may ask? For women to force a man to have sex with them in the cemetery, do you know what kind of disease they have in their body? Who wants to have sex in a graveyard? They are probably possessed by ghosts at the cemetery. For you, you be happy for a free offer of pussy from a stranger you don't know when you can get it on your own. My friend, please be careful; life is too short.
In this case they knew the man, wasn't a stranger to them

I have noticed, while Cameroon, Ghana is battling with nigeria.what about these our neighbors in Togo Benin,Chad and Niger Republic
In West Africa, the big boys are Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire and Senegal. The others are small boys. Togo has an almost dead 'entertainment life', they wish they were a Ghana or Nigeria. Their strict govt, small population and poverty can be some reasons for that.

They've joined the commonwealth, and if I were them, I'd switch completely to the use of english language, like Rwanda did, or pair it with french. And also liaise with Ghana to partake of their tourism glory

Cameroon is a rich, geographically and culturally rich, diverse country with both english and french speakers BUT it's currently suffering insecurity. Don't know much about Benin's. But both countries close to Nigeria should be benefiting from Nigeria successes

Togolese and Ghanaians used ''Anago'' to refer to Nigerians, who were mainly Yoruba people that were living in Togo and Ghana long before their independence e.g. in the early 1900s.
Most of their elders still call Nigerians ''Anago'' till date; it is only recently that they realized that there are other tribes from Nigeria apart from Yoruba people.
Ghanaians also call Nigerians alata. I'm now learning it's actually alada, meaning pepper seller, maybe in reference to many Yoruba/Igbo, Nigerian pepper sellers around then? Do you know anything about that?
