Art, Graphics & Video / Nice Income Opportunity For A Really Creative Graphic Designer by Masive01(m): 8:16pm On Oct 26, 2015 |
Hello everyone, I recently launched a brand for custom tees. This is how it works: 1. I pay a local designer to create designs 2. I purchase bulk t-shirts on cheap 3. I send the t-shirts and the designs to a local printer and they are made. 4. I package and sell the t-shirts. I have t-shirt tags, logo, custom packages, gift items etc... and it really is nice and my first few customers appreciated the whole PACKAGING. Profit margins are not so high, but i can do A LOT BETTER. However, I have two PROBLEMS. 1. I have been unable to get the right designer for the job after having tried 5 different local designers. While they are mostly excellent at creating good designs, they lack that specific Nigerian vibe and the designs do not hit the sweet spots. And i came to the conclusion that no foreigner would be able to make designs that resonate with Nigerians without having to Understand the Nigerian culture.(I live in Ukraine). 2. Not enough designs means not enough product size, and slowing down of sales. THIS IS AN OPEN POSITION FOR PARTNERSHIP WITH SERIOUS/INTERESTED PEOPLE. I will like to work out a payment scheme with anyone interested; i could pay per design or pay commissions per sale on all my t-shirts. Please, contact me on +380935606959 (whatsapp only) And lets discuss!!!! |

Politics / Re: 10 Things Hindering Nigeria From Progressing by Masive01(m): 3:23pm On Dec 27, 2014 |
T9ksy: So after all said and done, there is still ONE Nigeria. Is that such a big issue for you to grasp? It does not matter the amount of hate or tribalism you pour into your comment, fact still remains that OP was pointing out some things which have not helped our stagnating country, and Tribalism clearly had a spot. Your vocabulary does not even necessarily qualify you as a tribalist, It defines you as a threat to peace and someone who is deeply consumed by sadism and hatred for the IBO folk. It's something to describe the death of a people casually and another thing to describe their killers as "Slaughterers with GUSTO" Yes, this is a Social Network and you can hide your arrogance behind your computer and be shriveled in your delirious picture of human life and how much it is worth; but you a probably a terrorist waiting to happen. May God have mercy on your Soul... 2 Likes |

Business / Re: Forex Trading - Season 14 by Masive01(m): 8:50am On Dec 02, 2014 |
Anyone looking at the AUD/USD....AUD/CHF? These will provide volatile swings based on ystrdays gold surprise. I'm basing on plain fundamental analysis here.... Australia - world's 2nd largest producer of gold.(after china). A huge swing in gold like ystrday shud favour the currency against USD. CHF - Swiss referendum to not buy more gold into their federal reserve caused the initial dip in gold...but USA and Australia manipulated the market to keep their commodity on its feet. Month chart shows steady decline in gold..so i'm not sure Australia can hold their ground right now versus CHF. |

Politics / Re: How Okorocha Is Spending Imo State Money! by Masive01(m): 2:11pm On Nov 07, 2014 |
Plshavmercyamen: This here is ignorance and immaturity speaking. Onyegecha:I spent july and August in Imo, and having been raised in those same streets and corners; i can hold my hands high and say that Rochas has really done NOTHING. I have travelled in and out of the country-so i have seen development. What i observed were a lot of patchy and sub-standard roads.....(the road to FUTO is a death trap),and i also saw a presumed flyover with pillars of molded blocks under construction! I curse the day that this flyover will be erected on those pillars. Rochas is charismatic, He's oratory, He can convince you that He's your biological father-He's that good. He is a business man, not a politician. While i can argue that he has done better than most(not all) of the SE governors(which by the way is a testament of their overall poor performance), i will not stand in the polls to cast a vote for this man. IMO was clean and green under Ohakim, he could point to that as a prime achievement. Rochas can point to none, most of his buildings and artifacts will not last more than 10 years. to OP, Rochas has just declared interest for PRESIDENTIAL RACE 2015 via APC. So i think it is the reason for those buses. Long live IMO, and may the best man lead us. |

Investment / Internet Startups As Investment Opportunities. Do You Know Or Have Any? by Masive01(m): 8:11am On Oct 07, 2014 |
Hello Nlanders, this thread is for all those who have ideas for internet start-ups but cannot secure necessary funding to kick-start their projects because investors relatively play it safe by opting for already-in-progress startups. While a lot of people are interested in agriculture, import/export biz, and other ventures, we simply cannot deny that nigeria even without adequate broadband internet penetration is getting ripe for heavy internet success. The truth is that, even with the presence of Iroko, JUMIA, Konga, Jobberman, Dealdey etc, they have not quiet made it to the profitablility point yet. Nairaland in Europe could easily be making 5 times more money than it does - with the amount of traffic and audience that it has. I have tested a lot of start-ups and the truth is that while most of them are great ideas, their deployment is not just feasible yet. So founders loose hope and cut their losses. So if you as an investor, really appreciate all the challenges surrounding internet startups and are willing to invest in one that has not yet been developed (investing in an idea basically); you need a lot of money, patience, and Discipline. Look out for factors that speak for or against an idea, and try to maintain contact with the founders. |
Family / Re: What Tactics Do Parents Employ To Stop Their Kids From Bedwetting? by Masive01(m): 3:57pm On Sep 17, 2014 |
Nairalanders always impress! Anyway, after you cook the wall gecko, flog stupid out of the child, kneel down and shout ABIA 10 times, you can now decide to help you your brother. P.S there's no such thing as laziness as a cause of bed-wetting. Get to the root and solve the problem. Bed-wetting is caused primarily by irregular bladder movement and weak tonus of urethral sphincters as well as not so developed prostrate gland. And there are few more reasons (very deep sleep, small size bladder, constipation-very high in kids), which are mostly not controllable by the child. While it is normal for kids 2 years and younger; Some boys still do not have enough prostrate gland and urethral sphincters development until after puberty(20 years ). So they do not have control of their urinary bladder. Anyway, if you can, the best practices are to manage the condition....waking him up at intervals at night will help, but you risk altering his circadian rhythm -especially if he has started going to school. A lot of exercises are also recommended to help tone and stretch his bladder. Most importantly, use TAPOLENE to cover the bed and teach him how not to feel ashamed of bed-wetting and how to clean up himself. The idea is that you help to gain control of his urinary bladder - no matter HOW LONG it takes. Use mental drills, set challenges, set milestones and encouraging him for every one of them that he crosses. P.S; na your Papa give am that gene..........and(95%) he was wetting the sheets regular Cheers 1 Like |
Romance / Re: How Does One Manage A Verbally Abusive Wife by Masive01(m): 5:42pm On Sep 15, 2014 |
egopersonified: 1. Dont reply when she is verbally abusing you, it would just give her more to say. Probably the best thing i will read this week. I'm happy that someone oozes positivism and pro-activity. I believe that the wife was not abusive before marriage and so something changed. It's always easier to push blames and change focus, to play defensive and all....but brother - you are the 50% reason of her abusiveness. So please, sit down, use a pen and paper and copy out what @egopersonified has posted to you. Past it on your wall, read it like you're preparing to write an exam. Make it your daily creed after prayers. As a matter of fact, your wife needs you more than you realise. And she even loves you - she just victimizes the love by her expressions of abuse. And you, you deserve more than just walking away because she's abusing you, and it's a bit demeaning that you are looking for ways to "manage" her (she's not a property). I hope you realise all of this asap. Goodluck! 1 Like |
