But how do you drop and album 2 weeks before Grammy nomination list and expect to be nominated? He obviously didn’t submit his album for nomination cos of timing . Same thing happened to a good time album. addictiv: |

Many of you will just come here to spit trash without thinking before talking. How can you always consistently drop an album 2 weeks before Grammy nomination and expect to be nominated Obviously you can’t drop your album within that time frame and be bold enough to submit it for Grammy consideration. Think ...... A good time was released in November , 3 weeks before Grammy nomination. A better time also was released in November . 2 weeks later we saw nominations for Grammy. Your music needs to be heard, streamed for a period of time before even considering if a Grammy nomination. |

adaxxy: Yea. Exactly what I said earlier . They should learn how to explore other cities. A female friend of mine pays £200 per month for accommodation while the other in bradford pays £150 per month, so hard to believe. What surprised me was the fact that these guys re students and can still cough out £8000 for their tuition without help from parents in Nigeria. You can't save that much as a student in The city of London. |

There's a saying " people perish for lack of understanding or knowledge". That's what you get when You board a plane from Nigeria and land your ass in London. What happened to Manchester, Newcastle and other cities ? I've been to the uk and am talking from experience. I've met so many Nigerians who summoned courage to leave London and settle in other cities in the uk and are making more money while paying very little for rent . I stayed in Sunderland And visited friends in Newcastle and Bradford. These guys (students)do part time jobs , pay their tuition fees and accommodation themselves and still send money home while some folks work their ass off and end up spending their money alone on rents in London. If you want to make it in the UK please stay away from London. It has been messed up my ur fellow country men that's why the police stops and ask you for documents . They don't try that shit* anywhere in the uk except London. Also, living in the uk as an illegal immigrant is something you wouldn't want to do because you won't be able to do anything with your life. As for the taxi matter, I and a friend paid £50 from heathrow to our hotel the last time I visited there. And who says that guy can't make £300 (90,000 naira) everyday. FYI , he owns the car. So while some ppl rant about staying in naija and drinking garri just like I read earlier when you havent traveled and seen things first hand is absolutely your choice, because it's a case of "who no go, no know". You don't judge by the posts & comments you read here. Do your research. Lastly, You'll enjoy your stay in diaspora if you live there legally. My 2 cents. 21 Likes 2 Shares |

Hello House. Got another refusal letter dis evening. my first refusal (self sponsored) reasons: 1. Purpose of visit 2. your family ties in Canada and your country of residence . second application: Reasons were as follows: 1. Travel History 2. Purpose of Visit 3. Length of proposed stay in canada 4. your current employment situation 5. your personal asset and financial status. When i saw all these reasons i just smiled , i felt this letter wasn't for me . cos i spent time re-writing my SOP and even sent it to some peeps here to make corrections and fixed those loopholes that led to the first delay. Anyway this were the documents i submitted. - immigration forms - academic transcript - sponsors documents ( parents) payslip, id cards, employment letter - co sponsors company registration docs ( uncle) - SOA of sponsors and my personal SoA ( over 8 Million) - B.sc result - SOP - Affidavit of sponsorship from parents - letter of co sponsorship from uncle ( company letter headed ) - letter of support from parents - my CV - SSCE cert. - previous travel to dubai, SA and UK - my parents landed documents - my landed document and registration certificate - my previous work and business registration certificate/ tax receipts and certificates - tuition deposit $CAD 7000 Going for a 2 years PGD course in Business Management - International Business @ Lambton College |

akanni: Peeps,i was finally asked to go for my medicals for a program that has started already. Is the program available in winter 2015? If yes then get a new acceptance letter and wait until the embassy instructs u to submit a new start date. Fall 2015 far die o. That's like 11 months from now. Did u submit online or thru paper @ vfs. ? |

Blackkie: Hey bro. How re u. I will advice u use ur sister as ur main sponsor , that's if she has a good SOA cos ur 100k acc balance won't fly atall even though u've made full payment of ur tuition fees. Remember u still need to have at least $10000 for your accommodation , book supplies etc for a year in your SOA. Good luck |

Haustraliah: @playpays. Thanks for that lovely post. @haustraliah I don't understand what u mean by obedience is the best? If ur school requires u to pay some certain amount why wouldn't u pay? Like I said earlier not every school in canada ll require u to pay a deposit. Okay lemme ask u one question, take for example those who got admission in lambton college and the college asked dem to pay some part of their fees before a stipulated date before visa application, what's re u gonna do ? Be disobedient. Am saying this cos I got admission in d same college ( selkirk) sometime last year and it's their norm for students to deposit some amount of money before an unconditional letter of acceptance can be sent. 1 Like |

opsynusy: I really don't know what my agent is up to,so many things I know I ought to do,he said I shouldn't do,since he got the admission for me,thats why I didn't argue with him, even my sis called him and told him my letter is conditional,he said we shouldn't worry Miracles still happen. Just believe and be hopeful. |
Travel / Re: Travelling To Canada Part 6 by masterp204: 9:28pm On Sep 22, 2014 |
opsynusy: yes you are right,my agent said I shouldn't pay until the embassy says so I guess ur agent was wrong then. School says pay $4k so that ull be issued an unconditional letter of acceptance that ull use for your visa application and ur agent is telling u nt to pay? That wrong information. I believe Majority of peeps here whom their respective schools asked to pay some part of their tuition fees payed including me . Anyway u just need to commit ur app into Gods hand and pray fervently . There is nothing God cannot do. #Believe |

opsynusy: thanks oghos...it was after I submitted that I decided to look for nigeria canada students forum and I got this...I don't know the kind of power my agent has o,cos I really didn't submit lots of documents and that's why I am worried..i submitted the application form, the questionaire, the family info,my international passport,my o level certificate,o level transcript(which my agent did for me cos I have never heard of olevel transcript),my uni notification of results,i studied french, graduated with 2.2,my uni transcript,my sis's statement of account,an affidavit from her,her biodata page of her international pasport, police clearance I was once admitted in selkirk college sometime ago. I think the school requires u to deposit about $4000 before issuing u the unconditional acceptance letter. Pls check the acceptance letter very well. |
