Eagba:

You are mad

That's exactly what will happen to both warring communities if federal might is not brought to bear on their MADNESS.

For emphasis M.A.D is the acronym for MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION

Try and outgrow you folly and barbarism please!

Wow!

Almost 52kg of heroin!!

This is mad!

For the umpteenth time, I will say the NDLEA may be the only agency working overdrive to rid the nation of illicit drugs and related abuses.

This agency saw to the capture and disgrace of our once super cop (Abba Kyari) for drug related offenses.

Kudos to Gen. Marwa and his boys.
Politics / Re: Ijaw/Ibibio Clash In Akwa Ibom (Photos) by matify83: 3:57pm On Feb 27
This is a needless altercation.

When people are still thinking of how to source the next meal, these ones are remapping ancestral lands in order to claim oil subventions.

The federal government should enact a law that all disputed lands amongst communities which state governments are incapable of resolving peacefully should be forfeited to the federal government.

Politics / Re: Governor Makinde Joins NLC Protest In Oyo by matify83: 3:53pm On Feb 27
Wondered what the fear was all about!

TUC is the biggest loser as they failed to show leadership by aligning with the people in the hardship occasioned by poorly thought out and crafted government policies.

Kudos to NLC for not backing down.

Hogwash!

How will the mission and vision of setting up the NSUB be defeated by bringing it under the control of the NDA, another reputable military institution?
Celebrities / Re: “I Will Never Be Poor” – Kiddwaya’s Father, Terry Waya Shows Off His Milan Home by matify83: 3:42pm On Feb 27
He was the mobilizer of the one million man march for Abacha.

Most of the Abacha funds found its way to Switzerland through him.

He is displaying our common wealth.

He is the classic definition of "wealth without enterprise"

Correction!

Daniel Kanu actually was the convener of the 1 million man march for Abacha and not T. W

Business / Re: Breaking: CBN Intervenes In The Foreign Exchange Market, Gives Each BDC $20,000 by matify83: 1:09pm On Feb 27
A smart move again!

This is one of the lowest hanging fruits along side streamlining a bloated civil service structure .

Increasing productivity and tackling insecurity are much higher fruits requiring methodical approach and having longer gestation periods.

If the pastor is single, where is the wrong here?

Some people just chasing clout and later not allowing their pastor sleep because no man is looking their way.

She's the type that may end up chasing what she has ridiculed today.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Ukraine: Russia Must Not Win, We Will Send Ground Troops If Necessary - Macron by matify83: 12:45pm On Feb 27
Please send french troops into the "meat grinder ", i want to check something!

Macron thinks war is a video game.

The Chinese with their numerical strength have not "poured" into Taiwan because they are seeing what technology can do to an army whose might is majorly on paper with no 21st century battle experience.

seguno2:

That is not the target of our president.

Campaign is over dear.

The reality on ground especially after he removed petroleum products subsidy and floated the Naira is at variance with his campaign promises.

Here is a tiny glimse into what his Lagos whizkids are saying.

Politics / Re: Exclusive: How Vested Interests Almost Ruined the Aba Power Project by matify83: 12:14pm On Feb 27
At least good triumphed over evil at the end.

Nigerians can sacrifice a common good that will benefit the masses for their personal aggrandizement.

Just see how long it took for this project "to see light itself" with all the intrigues, politics and vested interests.
Business / Re: My Dried Fruit: Agbalumo/udara. See Pictures by matify83: 11:52am On Feb 27
Yashita:

They can be branded and packaged to dried fruit snacks.

They can also be blended to powder and made into packaged juices. Example, mango drink powder. I purchased 25kg from China for my business. If anyone was producing it in Nigeria, I wouldn't need to purchase from China.

I see!

Will try it out and see if it comes out good.

Thanks for the information.

You are close to been daft

1dollar is 83 Indian rupees

Your own target for the dollar is btw 700 and 800

Smh

Your ignorance of basic economics is nauseating really.

Why make analogy with india when Ghana has a better performing currency (1 DOLLAR = 13 GHS) in value terms but a horrendous economy .

You think monetary values are set arbitrarily?

I quoted the CBN governor and other experts in the financial market verbatim and your are hurling insult on a person you don't know and you call it wisdom?

Being bragadocious in ignorance will not favour you my friend!

The irony of this case is that she will not readily do this in Nigeria but because the society out there gives women such audacity, some sheepishly fall for it to the detriment of their home.

A man in such society should always have a backup plan for this kind of eventuality one amongst which is having sufficient capital and investments back home before emigrating so that once "shit hits the fan", you pack yourself back home instead of getting jailed because of "woman matter".

Business / Re: CBN Sells Over $300m To Banks As Naira Gains by matify83: 9:44am On Feb 27
Excellent move!

However, concerted efforts must be brought to bear on the continuous appreciation of the naira because it is still undervalued at this rate.

Our target is between 700 and 800 to the dollar. That's what Carson has always maintained.

Business / Re: CBN Injects Over $300 Million Into Banks As Naira Sees Uptick by matify83: 9:42am On Feb 27
With the restrictions on the BDCs, I see continuous appreciation in the naira against the greenback.

Unnecessary pressure on the naira by people seeking to hedge against the it as a store of value will reduce drastically.

Hoping there are no lacunae in theCBN's policy can be exploited

The ticket doesn't have serial number. How does the market association check against duplication?

This is fraud perpetrated in plain sight.

Politics / Re: 'The Protest Will Go On': NLC insists After Emergency Meeting With FG by matify83: 2:54am On Feb 27
The government should allow the peaceful protest go on and not try to scuttle it by importing street urchins to disrupt the procession.

It is the inalienable right of the people to engage in peaceful protest and the police most as a duty protect the protesters from harm.

I so much love the concept of incorporating rail lines within the median strips of the road.

Rail journeys adjacent such roads will be fun and less monotonous.

It will surely be a sight to behold if this project comes to fruition.
