What requirements do they need from each person?

If you're looking at a really big sum, chances are you might run into thesame issue with another solicitor. Also, you might already have incured some bills with your current solicitor. Worth asking or looking around to see if you encounter people who got a reasonably different approach by switching solicitors.

Thanks for the advise, on the long run, they realize without the money in question, the amount in the account is enough so they just let it go, thankfully

Hmm.. might be worth asking them what it'd take to satisfy AML. A letter from each of them stating the reason?

I wonder if a different solicitor might see things differently. Perhaps others could throw share views.
Reason why I've not been a fan of 'adashe' in the UK. There are good saving options where you could even earn interest.

Thank you, they did give me the option of treating each person as a giftor but the requirements is too much. Just wondering if u could just change solicitors at this point

More details are needed. Did they state what their concerns are or why they are not ok with it? That way, you know what to address.

Also are all other folks contributing also in the UK?

They said it doesn’t satisfy their AML policies and yes they are all based in the Uk

You can write a letter of consent and in the letter explain that you are aware of her visit and you consent to this and also, you consent to your joint account being used as sponsor evidence.

Many Thanks

This your question, get many branches...........

It totally depends on the applicant, you also have to consider your story, when it comes to renewal...........

- You can stay for 6 months (but best to stay for 5 months +)
- If you claimed to be a civil servant, how many 5+ months, can you be out of Nigeria, during your 5 year visa term.........
- If you claimed to have a business, would it make business - sense, been away from your business for 5+ month stretches, over the 5 year period .........
- If you're another form of professional, would your employer be happy with your long dissappearing acts..........
- If unemployed....... 😭😜🤣

Remember, when it's time for renewal....... Your visa history would be holistically examined......... 😜[/quote

She is retired , only contemplating the stay because she wants to stay and celebrate my daughter’s birthday with us.

Possible I suppose, but delays may be problematic, do make sure it does not cause you to overstay. Yet, you can also travel back to Nigeria on the expired passport.

Noted, thanks
