Fashion / Re: Before & After: Girl Bleaches Skin And Abuses Dark-skinned Girls..lol by mayrie1(f): 9:12am On Mar 18, 2015
Wow! Sad.

Truth be told, being fair-skinned no matter your race or ethnic group is always considered as an epitome of beauty to all men of different race. For instance, white guys to blonde, asian guys to very pale-skinned girls (dats looks more like ghost to me in contrast with their black hair) and black guys to light-skinned girls.

Bleachin is not just limited to blacks alone... as fair skinned as white girls are, you will b shocked to know how much they bleach. Indians are no exception also. You have to bleach to become a famous indian actress. Also asians.

I will forever admire those who cherish their skin and brings out its beauty without altering it.

Family / Re: Baby Found In Moremi Female Hostel Toilet In OAU by mayrie1(f): 3:59pm On Jun 19, 2013
Ola Johnson: I doubt this story. How can a student or any person dump a baby in Moremi Hall, OAU. The strategic location of the hall which makes it easier for residents of the other nine halls of residence, except S L Akintola, ETF and to some extent Adekunle Fajuyi, to pass through it makes me doubt. The baby couldn't have been abandoned at night because the person wanting to do it would have been caught by students who will always be seen entering and leaving the hall even early hours to read. Not to talk about this entering and leaving of a thing which has increased because of the ongoing Harmattan Semester exam.
Be that as it may, I will go there myself tomorrow to find out. Great Ife!
Yeah, I get d gist. U were once a student undecided

Not really. Whatever attracts a lot of viewers, from celebrity gossip to politics to romance.

Celebrity gossip to politics to romance is okay by me but posting a pics of yourself and then making front page just does not make much sense. I am Mary btw, u?

Wrong!! The frontpage is for threads capable of generating a lot of traffic.

What do you mean by traffic? Does it has anything to do with "useful information"?

I know you problem and what's eating your grapes. You hate to see lagos in such good light and its killing you hence your ignorant and retarded nonsense about some federal commercial capital. You can not progress in life with all the hate and bad bele garbage you carry into anything Lagos.

Totally offpoint. I was formerly on your side due to my typical Nigerian instinct, then I realize how dumb I was after reading the post above. Seriously, illiteracy is a disease. You could be a literate illiterate for all I care. The point the "old man" was making is that that is what the "commercial" federal capital of oil producing state (e.g Nigeria) should look like considering the level of development and all and he also hope they improve to first-world standard. Learn to use your IQ when posting comment and stop your childish insult, its not neccessary.

Religion / Re: America Set To Issue 666 Mark March 2013,....is This The End by mayrie1(f): 10:57am On Mar 23, 2013
Illiteracy is truly a disease. If by any chance that chip was the mark 666, technically you were not raptured. Because in d bible, that "mark" pertains to tribulation which is after rapture. So I think u shuld minister to yourself and safe your soul. Betterstill, read your bible well and pray for God's grace to understand it. Knowledge cures illiteracy.

Building of basic infrastructures is what Nigerians shuld b concerned about.

Rich people shuld also try to spend their money in building the country, and helping the genuine less-privileged

As 4 d post, I dnt tink we need such nw. We have enough tourism site that are eye-catchy enough bt needs attention. We need to focus on that nw.

One more thing, why dont book-smart nigerians learn how things are designed on a standard level so we can start challenging the world. Like "World's largest resort center in UK or even Nigeria"... Designed by Tope Amina Ijezie from Nigeria or stuff like that. Or even the world's biggest bicycle?

Guess we need God's grace. But all in all, Nigerians are loaded with potentials.
