I ask this primarily for extra peace of mind. If my mum lives a 24 minute walk away from my school and I intend on staying with her upon arrival in the UK, is the port of entry going to have any problem with it (expect me to have my own accommodation)? Any input at all is appreciated.

My sister submitted her student application since June 24th and on 27th they schedule her for online interview for 5th of July immediately after the interview she was asked to resend her statement of account which she did immediately since then nothing have been said and the passport is still pending showing received by DMC . Has anybody experienced such delay before
She send them an email on Friday and she was told that decision had been made and up till now is still showing received by DMC

Collection mail and Brp Mail - 2nd August.
Brp Mail was dated 31st July.

I have a 10 year Study Gap.
Submitted reference letters and work contracts from all my employers in the past 10 years.
I stated in additional information my work trajectory over the years.

Please provide the following documents:

Official, verifiable documents to demonstrate what you have been doing since your graduation in 2019.

This should be in English or a certified translation and for exampl,e be in the form of Payslips/employment letters with contact details on them / bank statements with regular salary being deposited / employment contracts / further education certificates and should not just be a CV.

So I submitted
-NYSC certificate and bank statements showing regular income from Nysc
-Employment letter from a previous place of employment and Reference salaries were paid in hand at this job
- I was in civil service from 2014 to 2022 gave a bank statement showing salaries from 2019 to 2022 i don't have any payslips
-Travel history was mentioned in the application so I gave a letter of explanation covering my trips and reasons for travel
-Cac Certificate from March this year

1 Canada visitors visa refusal

I got another email yesterday for an interview on the 8 day of August. So I'm getting myself ready for that too. Hopefully, they'll finally get the answers they want... Wish me luck

Please I need your advice and some words of encouragement won't be bad as the wait for a response doesn't get any better as days go by.

So I did my online application on the 10th of July and biometric on the 16th. On the 22nd of, July, I got an NSF mail asking for additional documents. Submitted all documents and a letter of explanation on the 23rd. I got an automated mail confirming they received my mail but I haven't
gotten any response from UKVI up until this moment. Application tracking is still at DCM.

I intend to wait until Monday as that's the end of the 3 weeks since biometrics and 14 days since my response to NSF mail before I make a paid call or email. So my questions are

1. How do I make a paid call or email (which works better and faster)?
2. How do I escalate the matter if need be?
3. Do I need to be worried at this point?
4. Is anyone having a similar experience?

Yes, some people got there visa the same week they got empty nsf mail.

In these difficult times, we are experiencing due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Rector's Office of Eastern Mediterranean University has launched an aid campaign under the title “We stand with our students against COVID-19” to cater for our students' various needs.

Through this campaign, we aim to meet some needs of our students and also to give the message that we are with them in this process as the EMU family.
