I checked previously denied the date on it was 2023 and also regular the nearest date was June. So as someone who has been denied before which category is appropriate to click on. Previously denied dates start from 2023. While regular nearest date is June. |

The course is Masters in law. And the place of interview was in Abuja. I work as a legal officer at the local government. I have a B.A in philosophy Akungba. And also an LLB in law Ife. So I applied for LLM. |

I was able to get a near date because I referred my admission which was supposed to be in August to spring admission I already had an October appointment then. That was the initial reason for deferring it. Course of study is Masters in Law. |

Good morning I was denied visa today. My transcript goes thus Vo: good morning Me good morning I can see that u have a partial scholarship here who is paying the remaining tuition Me: my father Vo: what does he do Me: he is into fish farming business, hotel management business as well as housing estate business. What do u do: I work at the local government civil service commission as a litigation officer. The next thing was am sorry u are not qualified I was issued form 214b. Sorry for disturbing the house please. I want to ask in lieu of my previous post. Cant I just leave my Visa appointment date which is on the 14th Oct 2021 the way it was and go to the embassy without changing anything with the new i20 and same SEVIS number on old i20 but different date of resumption without changing my previous appointment date and Ds 160. Am sorry for any repetition. Is there any fatal penalty if I just go there. And when that my admission date is long gone can I just explained that my admission was deferred to a fresh date which can still accommodate my Visa appointment date. |

Yes...but the appointment date may change oo I think you should leave it oo..if you fill a new one now, the interview date will change, you may not see available dates this year again oo Just leave it. If you go for the interview you'll explain to them why the date in your i-20 is diff from the date in your ds160. This was what someone who just got her visa approval told me plse could this be true. Although she did not experience the same thing during her own time. So I think she might not be correct. Plse I refer u to my previous message to get the content of my question. I appreciate u all. |

Thanks for your quick response. I will fill a new D's 160 and update it on visa application profile update. This information really helped a lot. I intend going for appointment by October just with the new i20 and and the admission letter without making a change to the old Ds160 before but with this information I will make Swift compliance to what u have pointed my attention to. Am happy this kind of platform exist. I will equally share my testimony if am granted visa at the end of the day. I appreciate you all. And I will also be learning from the transcripts of persons who have cross through this process. |

I already pick October 14 as date of my appointment. Should i request for emergency appointment or I should just leave it and just go for the appointment on the appointed date. Just as said earlier my admission has been deferred till next year Jan. All I just want to know is that can I just stay by the appointment date without changing anything on my Visa application or ds 160. So that I will not be ask questions on that day that but your admission has expired. Is that I will just tell them it was referred to Jan with the new i20 and admission letter. |

I want to know what are the things I should change in either my Ds160 or visa appointment. I got an appointment date that does not match with my admission date. The admission was for August and the appointment date was October. However the school later deferred my admission to Jan 2022 and promise to re issue another form i20 with the same SEVIS number. However, my question center on what I had earlier filled in my Visa application which I wrote July 9 2021 as expected date of traveling and resumption date August 26 2021. Is there a need to make changes in D's 160 in line with the date of the deferred admission as well as on the date of the interview to match up with the date on the new i20 or I should just go with the two admission letter and the two i20 the one for august and the one that specified the deferred date to Jan 2021. However can I still request for emergency appointment and ask the school to cancel the deferred admission later or I should just wait till October. I need your honest response. Thanks Malone122: |
