Staying for 3 months does not mean he did something wrong. There is no law that says you cannot stay in the USA, as long as you do not overstay your welcome. European citizens with ESTA stay the whole period they are eligible to stay and still come back weeks later for another visit. All because he is Nigerian that stayed for some months he is being profiled. However,if he has a tangible explanation to back up the stay its all good. To be Nigerian is a hassle,no country respects us but its a wake up call to the citizenry.

You have said it all

That's just an excuse to reject you.

A friend with 4 US Visa was also rejected cos he visited and stayed for a month. Told me he was asked why he stayed for a month despite having 6 months stamped on his passport.

Even if you stayed for 1 week, they will find another excuse to take you down.

Embassy just using excuses to knock people off.

I know that most of them are kids or they are buying their first cars ! You know that feeling of my first car is the best ! It is crazy that some clowns are even comparing Japanese with German engineering .. don't worry very soon they would compare Camry with Mesarati , Cullinan or S Class (limited editions)

I was of that opinion when I had my lousy Japanese car! That Nissan is so fūcked that if I am doing 120km/h it would look as if I am driving a paper. My orientation changed the day I drove a Benz C class ...that was it

I know they are kids, with time they would understand that there is more to car than transport !

Benz to me comes with safety! There is this feeling of safety when you drive Benz !

If they say it's a shit box, may they never drive a Benz in their life!

Yes. Because any legal resident or citizen knows he/she needs to file for your visa and to marry you. Only really serious person gets into it.

Living in America, you will see it's easy to date but not easy to convince to marry you. Men don't want to be financially responsible, women are very independent and don't want to marry either. Everybody wants to have fun. People who has a stability, look for the same in the partner. Even dating here, people does some research, if you are legal, it shows your background, criminal record, income, education, etc. If you are illegal, it doesn't show anything or maybe some mistakes in your history. Nobody wants to marry an unknown person or maybe a criminal. Financially the marriage in America is very risky, even credit score counts. So undocumented or illegal person, maybe could find a very old person or a drug user for being used. Good marriage is not easy to find because in American society you are not good yourself. We usually look in a 1st date if you have a car, a house and a job. Marrying a foreigner is risky, you have nothing and if there is a divorce, you get half of mine. Everybody knows undocumented or illegal foreigners use Americans. I am not saying nobody is marrying but it's hard to find somebody willing to do it. A little bit more easy is for a foreign woman (just because many American women don't want to marry and take care of a man) but a foreign man is not a good catch here.

Trump Administration Adds Six Countries to Travel Ban
President Trump added Africa’s biggest country, Nigeria, as well as Myanmar, Eritrea, Kyrgyzstan, Sudan and Tanzania, to his restricted travel list.

By Zolan Kanno-Youngs
Jan. 31, 2020 Updated 9:36 p.m. ET
The New York Times

WASHINGTON — President Trump on Friday added six countries to his list of nations facing stringent travel restrictions, a move that will virtually block immigration from Africa’s most populous nation, Nigeria, and from Myanmar, where the Muslim minority is fleeing genocide.

The proclamation will take effect on February 22. Immigrants who obtain visas before then will still be able to travel to the United States, officials said. Nonimmigrant visas, including those for students and certain temporary workers, as well as visas reserved for potential employees with specialized skills, will not be affected by the ban.

Obtaining a US visa isn't nearly as difficult as people fear. There are a couple of tips one must know, in order to ensure the first attempt is successful.

The problem is many applicants fail to research thoroughly on the methodology and ideology of the US consulars before charging headlong to put in their applications.

While applying by oneself is good, it is always better to seek the expertise of genuine and approved Visa & Protocol consultants to increase one's chances of getting the visa.

Let us look at some of the tips to take note of when considering submitting an application for the US and appearing before a Consular at an interview.

1. Travel history: the US is partial to applicants who have travelled outside of their countries/continents at least once and within the last 3-5 years before the application. This is a major factor the consular considers before making a decision to approve or reject an application.

2. Age: As unusual as this may seem, the average Consular prefers to issue visas to people between the ages of 40 and above than to people below that age bracket. This is because they assume people aged 40+ will have more ties to their home country than anyone else.

3. Marital status: For the US, being married and or with kids is another positive factor that may influence their decision to grant a visa. Married people who are of the of age 40 and above, are more likely to obtain a visa than people outside that demography.

4. Purpose of travel: The purpose of travel for certain individuals should vary from the others. For instance; a young, unmarried applicant is best advised to apply for a B1 visa or a Student H2 Visa; rather than for a B2 tourist visa. The logic behind this is simple. No consular believes an unmarried individual with no children will visit the US for pleasure only and this assumption is further heightened when the applicant also has a poor travel history.

5. Your composure: when appearing before a consular, it is crucial that you maintain a calm and confident composure. Avoiding eye contact, fidgeting or sweating are sure signs that an applicant is either lying, or is desperate to obtain the visa for ulterior reasons.

Other factors such as ties to your home country, source of income or nature of job, appearance etc form the basis for a visa approval or denial....

Does this then mean that an applicant is ruled out completely if they fail to meet up with tips 1-4? Certainly not. There are ways to "profile" an applicant into the ideal candidate for obtaining a US visa.

So that will increase applicants chances, even without checking no documents ?

Or is there a tutorial for that? grin

Good job
