I thought I was the only one. These set of judges need to be disband. The very day I saw a girl been canceled out because she sang ekuweme. I knew it was over. Even American idol dem dey sing gospel. It's like the allow this sheyi Shey of a person take the major decisions. The clown of a Dj too lacks lustre when it comes to music.

Religion na Politics.

Youth be proactive in having streams of income see yourself as a citizen of the world and use the power of IT & Internet as a legal tool to earn residual income.
I'll always advocate for online investments or ventures to create long term residual income.

Imagine making $50 on a daily for the rest of your life on earth or $3k monthly with a Cash and Time investment of $8k and @most four hour work time online....

So many ways to earn online that requires less stress.
There is a new site where to earn as an online freelancer better than upwork n it's likes.

As the world is becoming a global village so many smart people are getting to know that your location can't impede your investment or income spread and profit margins.

You'll be in any part of the world and create streams of income for yourself and family. However it is better to stay where you feel safe and can access so many lovely social and human amenities reason ill relocate out of Nigeria soon.

As a youth look and connect with this new income ideology and cure your been broke issue permanently!

Proactivity Leads To Productivity!!!

BreconHills:

I disagree.

Christianity is not a life style. It is a new LIFE that gives us not only Christ's righteousness but also the power to life out his life. That life is not dependant on rules or doctrine but on power from above. When one experiences that power one begins to understand that preferring anything above him including wealth, success, job or fame is the sin. In the context of that life dressing is immaterial and the spirit will guide even the new believer into living out the life. Rules, and doctrine do not produce that life - they have no power over secret sins like lust, bitterness, envy, emulation, strife and so on.

You are talking about rules as evidence of life but I am talking about life as evidence of life. It is not my job to preach rules but Christ crucified. My job is to help people find life in its real experience not a sterile altar call or rule keeping. When the disciples met to decide on the laws that the gentiles ought to fulfil waist beads or trousers or make up was not among them.

Rules are not evidence of life and rules and doctrine cannot give life. They can only give the consciousness of sin not the consciousness of Christ.

Please leave the women with their beads, anklets, make up and wigs. Those are not the enemy we deal with. It is not for you to identify which dressing is godly, what you should be able to do is to apprehend the spirit that people have through their conversation. You cannot do it by observation, only through spoken words that come from the treasures of the heart.

I know your zeal. I have been there but it will only lead to joylessness, self justification and hardness of heart. Then you start going through the motions waiting for heaven and calling it maturity. First love bro, first love. Always. Never forget that.

God bless you bro.

Hmmm, I just love the way you lay up thing.
P. S- I'm a secret student.

Yesterday I was catching up on a program on the tele, a guy named illiyasu or something called in from kaduna, he seem to have a deep info about the whereabout of those kidnapped. He even proposed some sort of remedy for this carnage.

But the gripping reality of this nonsense isn't far fetched. I believe the Northerners need to do more, looking or sounding shudder hasn't only amplified this total stupidity but also happens to make it look like a northern pet project. My heart sunk as I read and watch these pictures. It reminds me of Lord Resistance Army of Uganda under the delusional leadership of Joseph kony. Such similitude isn't far fetched to what is happening to Nigeria currently
P. S- thank God, those kidnapped are alive. My heart breaks seriously. Part of me is ashamed.like what someone said up there “wetin I go tell my children"

Blame your moderators. As for me, I have made my stance known. Killer herdsmen and bandits make up less than 1% of the Fulani population, but the media (including nairraland) has completely tainted the tribe by constantly adding "Fulani. " to every report.

So if they can't differentiate between members of the Fulani tribe and bandits, why should I differentiate Igbos from the drug peddlers among them?

Igbos should stop disgracing Nigeria with drug trafficking

Sorry sir, but its such a poor excuse.

The covid vaccine syringe is quite different from the normal syringe and its handling and subsequent disposal is also more precise than putting it in a hospital dustbin. The allocation of batch number to a patient yo enable them obtain access to international travel is also quite intricate. If we struggle over simple NIN and BVN then managing the vaccine project will be like an ant swallowing an elephant. Many challenges. If not for the Nigerian can do spirit, I would write this off as a predetermined failure.

Having said that, there is no doubt that the cost is heavily padded. Peter Obi is right in saying that but his argument was rather lightweight. Every Nigerian politician knows how padding works since they have all used it in the past.

At the end of the day, knowing Nigeria the vaccination process will be a great success and other countries will come and understudy us. We are masters of " one shot" success - We just don't want to systemize it.
As usual, I always come around to pick your drift. Claps

Funding infrastructure is a necessity now because it is the only way we can fund growth. We have a youth bulge and we cannot save our way out of it, we have to spend our way out of it. Admittedly government hardly ever does a good job of this. There is still corruption, inefficiency and incompetence.

At the time buhari took over in 1985 right up to Babangida economic thinking - largely inspired by the world Bank and IMF was that a country must devalue its currency, cut costs and remove subsidies in order to kill off inefficient industries and replace them with viable ones. This was the thinking that destroyed Nigerias nascent industrial base - call it SAP.

Economic thinking has changed a lot since then. The thinking now is that demand must be stimulated through stimulus programs and investment in infrastructure. This is why you are saying debt increasing everywhere in the world. Nigerias debt to GDP ratio is just under 35% which is not flashing red lights yet especially now that human capital remittances has replaced commodities as the biggest inflow of fx - the boogie man of clean energy is being addressed albeit by chance.

So you are right, we lost a chance in 1985 but this must be placed against the prevailing economic theory of the time. At the same time, we now need to go full steam in the opposite direction to kick-start opportunity and demand.

You are also right not to trust the government to manage the process correctly. Where you are wrong is in suggesting that what happened in 1985 must have a corellation with 2021 strategy. The world has moved and so must we.
