Business / Re: Benue State To Build 800million Naira Brewery In Makurdi by mikmash(m): 8:55pm On May 07
mctech:
You see why people rush to the South West like they are going abroad? We are far ahead in thinking and development.

The state has no business establishing a brewery but providing incentives for a reputable brewer to come in.

Brewery business is one of the worst affected by the dollar issue. Nigerian Breweries and International Breweries (Trophy) recorded loss last year.

The reason is simple: aside the rising cost of operation, particularly importation of materials and diesel, alcohol is not a priority for people who are grappling with hunger that is approaching famine.

Bars have almost shut down in my area.

But what can I say, for a state that wants to produce water and bread, a brewery is like a refinery.

In another slant, Benue government has strong competitive advantage in agriculture so should have considered ATTRACTING INVESTMENT along that value chain.

Yes. I was expecting them to invest in agricultural value chain.

One of the reasons that made me come here on Nairaland is because l don't know any of their physical office in Abuja. But as I browsed now, I got this address: The OPay Abuja Office is located at Uyk Hexahub Plaza, Balanga Cresent, Off Uke Street, By Bolton White Hotel, Opposite Hawthrone Suites, Garki 11, Abuja, FCT.
I hope it's real so I can visit there one day.
Please, my second question is: UBA is the issuer of the POS based on the print out. Can I verify from UBA that the money left my Opay account and was paid to the petrol station?
Visit the opay office first. A log code will be issued to you. Then proceed to the fueling station.

I have followed your first instruction and I hope it gets resolved within 7 days. This will help me know if to hold the petrol station that has been telling me to go to my bank; or if the failed transaction was the fault of Opay which means they have to refund the N7,000. I never knew of this dispute management before now. Thank you all for offering helpful assistance.
You are welcome. Do well to check the progress report as usual.
Politics / Re: Sokoto Donates 20 New Motorcycles To DSS (photos) by mikmash(m): 10:18pm On Apr 30
Security shouldn't be dealt with emotions. Apply pressure to a pressing need with the same system of operations at some point. I don't see any reason why this should be turn to a joke though. You can't ride into the deep terrain of Sokoto with a panzer all the time . Study the patterns of your enemy and beat him at it. Undercover agents can use anything to dig out info's.

Since April 2nd 2023, I used POS to buy petrol at a filling station along Kubwa express way in Abuja, the transaction got declined while N7000 was debited. I've written emails to them which they responded and asked me to forward the receipt. Since then they have not been responding to messages and I don't know their physical office in Abuja. Since then, I hardly do serious transactions with this Opay. If it was normal conventional banks, one can easily resolve transactions issues online or at their branches. I brought up this information here to see if there's any guidance on how to get my money.

Have you submitted, the dispute.

Disruption is part of a dynamic project. Same way we start from hand driven vehicles to autonomous ones. Financial services, regardless are changing the dynamics of the game with the emergence of fin-Techs.

I don't know about it
After login into the app, go to select "cards" select physical cards. Once there, select manage dispute. Trace the transaction you did, click on dispute. It will be on review 7 working days, most atimes it might not take such long period of days. Always insure to check the progress report from the day you submitted to final status.

Second method, click on your transaction history, select the specific date and month of the transaction, click on submit dispute there. Wait for reversal after investigation, if it shows decline then the money has left your account, visit the nearest opay office for a log code and give to the fueling station to contact their financial agents or customer service for a refund.

It can but it will be difficult... I say this because for instance, you can't have two savings accounts in one bank using your BVN, but for Kuda, opay, fairmoney and palmpay you can comfortably have as many accounts as you want provided you have different phone numbers. With this you can actually launder money.. And the level of monitoring of their activities is very poor
.

No sir, you can't have more than 3 account currently with opay using your BVN or NIN.
