Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Any News About First Bank 4th Batch? by Mishie: 10:14am On Jun 28, 2008
guys, let this come to you as an authentic hint from the HCM of first bank. a number of friends in training right now have confirmed there would be no 4th batch as even the third batch, currently in 3rd week of induction (which rounds up next friday), was a last minute decision of the Board. the current plan is to hire OND holders to fill in the cash and tellering positions of the bank, and you can see recruitment has already begun online, while graduate trainees will be deployed to retail marketing.
if they will hire graduates, then it will come later this year; however, there might be changes if urgency arises and they cant wait to go over the long recruitment process, then they may fall on the 4th batch. so thats the picture. my advice is keep looking somewhere, infact in earnest. if they call you then hurray! the point is dont be acught doing nothing.
all the best guys.

again dnt be discouraged. you must have read my testimony and advice even before i got on board. brace ur self up!

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: First Bank 4th Batch,hope Dey! by Mishie: 8:54am On May 26, 2008
some time back i posted a reply about having to move on if first bank hold on to the list. i expected my name in the list and honestly forgot about thwm until friday. i checked to see that i was given the medical ivy abd went for it. so it pays to wait. between the last interview and now i mentioned that i have been tru at least two radio jobs and it has been quite fulfilling. so look within and get something out for yourself, while you wait.
goodluck everyone who had the medicals, hope to catch you all for teraining in ,
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Istbank.3rdbatch! by Mishie: 7:39pm On May 15, 2008
are we still expecting a 3rd batch. one only hopes they wont suddenly pop up an another fresh advert at their site for yet another executive training recruitment, as has been their trade in the last two years! twice i made it tru both stages; awaiting medicals only to find out they are recruiting again after posting the 1st two batches.
well tru that time i have changed jobs twice for good sha; both top radio jobs, and i'm on the second in abuja. if they ever consider that 3rd batch, then it will be then i will look in that bank's direction, else i might as well have called time on 1st bank, cos they are the last bank on my mind right now.
peeps, look out there. there are opportunities. its my talent that is fetching me big bucks that some branches of first bank wont pay-except for other benefits.u can as well create some opportunities of go somewhere for the meantime; so you dont get a high bp over 1st bank.
that's how i took care of that. however, a good news from them on this issue would help.
all the best people.

the 2nd batch completes training and pass out today. Lets see what's in the offing.usually in the past, the bank should have released names for 3rd batch medicals, but perhaps we may find some words from those passing out from training today.
we keep trusting God; nothing else!

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: When Is 2nd Batch First Bank Coming Out? by Mishie: 10:31am On Oct 31, 2007
that will be last week of november;thats how their proceedings have been.the second batch will go in for iinduction either b4 xmas or 2nd weekof january.
we keep praying; most impoertant thing is for us to be called;ageing or not.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 71%: First Bank Interview by Mishie: 2:43pm On Oct 19, 2007
why not 70%,80%' or something. it will do no good to keep speculating in this forum. i guess the cause is purely impatience. please if you guys cant wait, visit tinapa in calabar or the millenium park in abuja for liesure that will keep you off tension!
firstbank are in charge. whenever the choose to call for whatever is their discretion. we dont want to be told another "brother" has collapsed as a result of impatience.
if you are called, you are called. those who went fot the interview never told us they scored a particular mark to be invited for interview. i feel that is irrelevant and could build more tension into those waiting; who cld just wonder if they will make that mark.why jnot also tell us, how you answered the questions that were asked, what you wore, how u smiled; bla bla blah!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 1stbank Interview Update! by Mishie: 2:56pm On Oct 17, 2007
guy, i am so sure , from the look of things that "the brother" in question is you. my friend, its not only you that is curious as to the release of the results. they know what they are doing. all you should pray and hope for is that you get called whenever they decide to call for medicals or induction as the case may be. it wont make any sense if you know when results willb e ready and your name is somewhere---but not on the shortlist!
i guess we all cant wait , but then the forum will be filled with these posts if we all choose to become inpatient.I wish you more than luck but God's favour. Can i get an Amen, Somebody!
see you, when we get there!

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Please After This First Bank Interview What Next by Mishie: 4:29pm On Sep 25, 2007
Expect results in two weeks, the closest being in a weeks time. this ofcourse however depends on what their plans for recruitment are, as in how soon do they want a batch for induction and how ready are they to commence induction. the norm is to check their website from this weekend thru next weekend. ofcourse, sometimes you get text messages inviting for induction or medicals before induction, and it is important that you keep your contact mobile active withing these weeks.
i was part of their earlier interview in May as well as the just concluded one last weekend. we keep our fingers crossed but i'm up beat God's got my back this term.
lets pray,
Amen!\see you in Kano/jos/lagos, !

Jobs/Vacancies / First Bank Interview Preview by Mishie: 12:53pm On Sep 19, 2007
first bank interview commenced today and will run tru saturday. please can we have some feelers as to what the group debate questions were like and the personal interview, as in what to expect.
was part of the last interview but my group members flopped as they went arguing over topic. it was hell for me, true! so it will help you guys to let your group members (three each) to harmonise your points and do it logically. i will take my turn this term come saturday. wishing everyone success this time, pls pray for me, as i do you.
God help us. amen!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: First Bank Test Results by Mishie: 1:47pm On Sep 13, 2007
guys, i think there's a problem with their site. i checked yesterday and saw nothing; i just did again and find nothing, no link and all that. was a lil surprise to see posts here that says other wise. well, i guess i will check back 2moro. meanwhile, is there any date fixed for interview as yet?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: F by Mishie: 12:36pm On Sep 07, 2007
nada; peeps have the habit of holdingf back dates and all that and making promises of letting the house know when test has been schedulled, yet we never get to hearing from them again. i hardly now know how to treat issues as this.
