Sagamite: This post, as well as the one before it, was so pathetic and desperate that it wasn’t even worthy of a response. But now I’ve decided to make one comment which may educate you a bit (provided you are not a completely hopeless case): I've never been a fan of Mugabe, however you may have shat the idea into that microcephalic skull of yours. But here is an article about someone you will no doubt relate very well to: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Biya This sc.umbag has been the president of Cameroon for almost 35 years, refusing to cede power to anyone else. His patrons have been the very same foreign governments that you worship who have been backing him over the decades as he condemns his own people into poverty and misery while enriching their own interests. The same people who turn around and hypocritically condemn the few African leaders who do not serve as their puppets for not wanting to cede power to someone else that they want. You and this monkey have so much in common. Like you, he is a relentless banana-sucker who passionately hates himself and his own people and demonstrates it very clearly. (By the way, the fundamental problem with African countries is not even leadership per se. It is their ethnical heterogeneity and the fact that they were artificially constructed by outside powers. But that concept is too big for your small brain to chew upon.) Another banana-eating monkey like yourself was Mobutu Seko. You may read more about this soulmate of yours over here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobutu_Sese_Seko 2 Likes |

Religion / Re: Why Do Atheists Attack Mostly Christians? by misterbear: 10:34am On Feb 28, 2016 |
onetrack: Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, Lawrence Krauss (and even more recently Richard Dawkins) are some of those refreshingly consistent atheists who do not believe in giving any religion a pass. |
Religion / Re: Why Do Atheists Attack Mostly Christians? by misterbear: 8:55am On Feb 28, 2016 |
CoolUsername: The third and fourth points are correct: It is Christians that tend to be opposed to stem cell research and abortion. Those things do not contravene Islamic doctrine. As for the other points: being against equality in marriage and imposing your beliefs on others; other religions particularly Islam are guilty of that as well. In fact, Islamic culture is guilty of these things in some ways even more than Christian culture is (especially in the west). Nevertheless, as a man of science, it is to be expected that Dawkins would be particularly focused on those areas where science is threatened especially in his own part of the world. (Note that Muslims also tend to be opposed to evolution.) |

Then again, since you said "Plenty of us atheists [as in 'a subset of atheists']...You just have to look a bit harder" you are technically correct. |
Religion / Re: Why Do Atheists Attack Mostly Christians? by misterbear: 7:55am On Feb 28, 2016 |
onetrack: No Speechless3 is right. Atheists - especially in the west - do tend to concentrate exclusively on Christianity and often appear to give other religions a free pass. If you listen to the public speeches of Richard Dawkins during the past decade, and if you read his book The God Delusion, his blows are largely if not exclusively directed at Christianity and Christians in particular (even the old testament Judaic text is attacked only in the context of it being part of the Christian bible). While this may be easily explained by the fact that Christianity is the religion that has traditionally dominated western culture and thus is the one western atheists are most likely to attack, it doesn't explain the relative apathy they often seem to display towards other religions even when they are prominent in public consciousness and even when they are characterized by violent extremism. Islam is the most obvious example. Many Christians have pointed out that secular liberals in the west are often extremely tolerant and even protective of Islam and tend to excuse Muslims of behaviors that they would attack Christians for if they were the ones doing it. These are legitimate complaints that even atheists like Richard Dawkins have recognized: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a7igsWpPSQ. By the way, it is also true that atheists do often attack Christians (not just Christianity) as being "stu.pid", "du.mb", "mentally ill" etc etc... |
Career / Re: Lara Odoffin, Nigerian, Loses Job Offer In UK Because Of Her Braids by misterbear: 11:54pm On Feb 27, 2016 |
To me,it isn't discrimination. It's simply company policy! If you critisize the UK,what about Nigeria?Nigeria is the worst country in terms of discrimination.A country where just your name, your tribe and your state of origin has automatically disqualified you for a job, loan, importation, school, etc. So you think something cannot be discrimination and "company policy" at the same time? Why not ask yourself why it is company policy. And if it is because "it is what the clients want", then why not ask why the clients want that? Have you never noticed that whites have no problem when it comes to styling their own hair and they only seem to have a problem when blacks style theirs (as if they are threatened by it)? They want black women to just burn down their hair with their chemicals or buy dead hair from them. [That girl's picture looks very beautiful by the way] There is also an inconsistency in your statement. If you accept that Nigeria is rife with bigotry and tribal chauvinism and discrimination, why then can you not also accept that those very same kinds of factors may be present among whites in terms of racism? You rightfully condemn African ethnic bigotry and discrimination but then you make excuses for the European version of it when it is done to black people. |
Culture / Re: Most Cubans Originated From Yorubaland – Ambassador by misterbear: 9:34pm On Feb 27, 2016 |
cap28: How often do they try to take advantage of America's open-door policy with Cuban 'escapees' and make serious attempts to migrate to the the US? (Cuban migration to the US is usually seen in the image of caucasian Cubans. There has always seemed to be very little black Cuban migration. While there are black Cuban Americans - especially in Florida - they tend not to be as prominent and as visible as the caucasian ones). |
Business / Re: 51-Year-Old Nigerian Bought As A Toy By A Rich White Kid by misterbear: 10:44am On Feb 10, 2015 |
It's not surprising that one of the first reactions of many people was "what Igbos will not do for money." Whether the story is true or not, it is the kind of story that racists will like to parade around to use to mock black people. Yet, the truth is that it could easily go the other direction. If one of our wealthy looters wanted to, he could easily go to any of these Slavic European countries (or even just any white country, as a matter of fact) and find poor, desperate whites who would be willing to be a "toy" for his young son for as long as he wants in return for a meager salary and some fringe benefits. It is just inferiority complex that prevents blacks from doing that. Ironically, one would think that wealthy black West Africans would be the ones that would be most eager and likely to "purchase" a white person for their children, given how fascinated and enamored most black African people are of whites. But, paradoxically, it is the same inferiority complex that causes the fascination that also prevents them from doing that. The article (whether it is true or not) also indicates something else that is worth noting: even young children can distinguish between politeness/courtesy and the act of being worshiped by another person or group of people simply because of how they look and where they are from. And, particularly if it is a group of people that they already have no respect for, even they immediately perceive it as a sign of foolishness and docility that makes the person/people susceptible to being asked to stand on one leg all day and eat spiders and be laughed at. |
Nairaland / General / Re: My Experience With Racists. by misterbear: 12:03am On Feb 02, 2015 |
You posted a very misleading diagram showing graphs of races being shot by police. But the real issue is NOT whether someone is shot by the police or not. It is the CIRCUMSTANCES in which they were shot and whether the officer(s) were justified in doing it or not. I was so caught up in the other points i was making that i forgot to say what the most misleading aspect of the diagram is. The diagram ignores the fact that whites are about 70 percent of the population, while blacks and hispanics are each about 12 percent. Therefore the death rate for whites should be about FIVE or SIX times what it is for blacks instead of being roughly the same! Thus, the graphs themselves show that there is a terrible bias against blacks in the shooting rates. |

The balck race isfull of cretins like you and cap28. Of course it is only a small minority of people are like cap28 and others like him as in any race. One of the symptoms of schizophrenia is incoherent and self-contradictory speech known as schizophasia. Of course, those that are insane tend to think it is the sane ones who are. 2 Likes |

CityNG: lol What exactly is the problem with people like you? Is it so difficult to just accept correction when others enlighten you about your errors? Instead, you feel the need to try to save face by retorting with a pile of verbal vomit that doesn't even make any sense. Where in my post do you get the impression that all i have is "second hand information"? Where does it suggest anything about lack of "first hand experience"? Where in the post does it suggest that the one example i gave you to counter the silly claims you were making is "the only person i know as a friend" (That person wasn't even actually a friend of mine. Just someone i happened to know)? You cannot point at any of those things in the post because you are desperately trying to look for a way to argue instead of being a humble person that is willing to learn and take advice from others. And then you say "My data shows that Police kills all races equally", despite the fact that the diagram CLEARLY presents different statistics for different groups to anyone who isn't either blind, retarded, or dishonest (or the last two). And to top it up, you use the classic trick of projection by turning it around and trying to claim that i am somehow "the problem". But i can easily embarrass you again by showing, very clearly, how foolish you sound. Take a look at this sentence of yours again: You and your Atlanta friend are the bane of social issues that black folks have Now take a look at the paragraph in which i talked about that man: i know someone in Atlanta who is one of the nicest, most polite and well-presented human beings one can ever come across. And a very hardworking and intelligent man too. Yet, he was once told to "go back to Africa you monkey" by someone at his place of work. And that was just in 2006. WHERE in that whole paragraph do you get the idea that this man is somehow "the bane of social issues that black folks have"?? You see how stupid you have made yourself to look? Listen, my good friend; take this advice from me: Don't try to be so defensive when people criticize your statements and claims. Realize that you are only human (and not a very knowledgeable or smart one for that matter). And finally, stop making silly excuses for bad behavior by telling us banal facts about life that we already know and trying to smuggle those as justifications for the actions of bad people. Of course, you can always reject words of wisdom and just continue giving us more verbal vomit. That's your prerogative. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Sagamite: No no my friend. The CLEAR evidence is that only a small minority of people (within any race) are like cap28 and others like him. Most human beings are just like you. THAT is the problem. Most human beings are not bright at all, worship those in power, are easily fooled by propaganda, lack keen insight and observation and don't really think very much. And the way you use the word "you" suggests that you are not a black person (or at least you don't identify as one). Which would explain why you talk the way you do (and why you like banana to so much). 3 Likes |

The condition of the black race would be dramatically improved, and the rest of the world would be forced to have much more respect for black people if the black race had more people like cap28 and less self-hating banana suckers like Sagamite. Unfortunately, it seems to be the other way round. 1 Like |

CityNG: That 12 year old black boy in Cleveland who was gunned down by a bunch of white police officers while sitting on a bench playing with his toy gun (in a state where people are allowed to walk about openly with real guns) without even being given any warning by them and without even seeing them coming...how was that child "going around in search of trouble and instigating police officers"? Pray tell us. That black man in a department store who was shot many times in the back (and killed) by a white police officer while he was holding an air rifle in the air gun section of the store (obviously intending to purchase it) while speaking on his cell phone, without any warning whatsoever...how was he "going around in search of trouble and instigating police officers"? Remember Diallo, the Guinean immigrant who was shot more than 40 times in front of his own house by plain closed white officers back in 1998? How was he "going around in search of trouble and instigating police officers"? This is just scratching the surface. There are tons of other examples of police brutality towards black people happening everyday, not just to men, but also women and children, that don't get as much publicity. You posted a very misleading diagram showing graphs of races being shot by police. But the real issue is NOT whether someone is shot by the police or not. It is the CIRCUMSTANCES in which they were shot and whether the officer(s) were justified in doing it or not. Those graphs do not reveal the fact that blacks are regularly shot an killed in situations where they would NEVER have done the same thing to a white person (or a person of any other race). Those graphs do not reveal the fact that the bar for shooting/killing a black person is set much much lower than for a white person. There are lots of situations where the white guy will be pointing his gun directly at the officers and even ordering them to drop their guns! Yet they don't shoot him! This is why white males who are breaking the law tend to be more arrogant and audacious with police officers. But when they actually start shooting, the officers will have no choice but to shoot them. That is why it is not surprising to see a higher rate of deaths for them than you see for hispanics. With blacks it is a different story. They don't even have to be armed at all for them to be killed by cops. Even if they are armed (with even just a knife), it is not a justification to kill someone; yet, blacks will be killed despite not actually doing anything threatening with it. Furthermore, they are far more likely to be killed without any warnings whatsoever. Btw, your own graphs betray the fact that blacks are killed by cops at much younger ages than whites are. I've lived here continuously since 1986 and I've never been called nigger or treated rudely, perhaps it;s because of the way I carry myself and the people I move around with Good for you. I have never inhaled a fly before. But i am not going to say that hasn't happened to other people or that it didn't happen to me because i always keep my mouth closed. On a serious note, i know someone in Atlanta who is one of the nicest, most polite and well-presented human beings one can ever come across. And a very hardworking and intelligent man too. Yet, he was once told to "go back to Africa you monkey" by someone at his place of work. And that was just in 2006. I haven't been shot in 30 years and have never personally knew any black person that has ever been shot by any policy officers in the US. Your problem is illustrated in these statements. Because you have never been unjustly shot by a white officer or personally known anyone who has, you automatically assume that it must all be a hoax. This is the sort of selfish reasoning and faulty logic that is common among a lot of blacks and is the precise reason why blacks as a whole continue to be abused. 4 Likes 3 Shares |
