As there been more advantage religious people benefitted from? You all fall sick, cry, run into debt, lose loved ones like the rest of us........except that religious people are 50% crazier. Why would you donate money to a pastor every week when it would be better to give it to the needy?
Yawn..im not religous btw..and tnx for assuming

Did you get that religious marketing quote from your pastor?

I am asking because your comment makes no sense. Free-thought is independent of religion. Religion restricts free-thought.

Ifyou truly questioned your religion, you wouldnt have a religion
Duh, Incase freethinking hasn't showed you MANY depend on Religion just like an addict on crack..take that away and unleash hell

Sweden, Denmark and Japan prove that free-thought is important and religion isnt.

Religion keeps things in check...If you fail to see the importance of religion you will never appreciate the freedom of freethought

"After this, Job opened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth. He said: "May the day of my birth perish ... May its MORNING STARS become dark; may it wait for daylight in vain and not see the first rays of dawn, for it did not shut the doors of the womb on me to hide trouble from my eyes." (Job 3:1-10)

Luke 18:29-30 No one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or
children for the sake of the kingdom
of God will fail to receive many times as
much in this AGE and, in the AGE to come, eternal life.
Matt. 13:39-40 The harvest is the end of the AGE, and the harvesters are angels. As the weeds are pulled up
and burned in the fire, so it will be at
the end of the AGE.

Although the Roman Catholic Church
claims that the crosier represents the
shepherd's crook, it actually can be
traced to the divining staff or the
augur of pontifex maximus of ancient
Rome, who inherited it from the priests of Babylon.

Jesus Christ's Son of Man The Son of Man in the Gospels can be
linked to the constellation Orion.
Revelation’s description of the Son of
man fits the pattern of stars in the
constellation Orion. The star on his
right shoulder is bright red (upper left star). The three stars at his waist were
later seen as the three wise men who
announced the birth of Jesus.[13]
The Son of man has a cluster of stars in
the background that look like the
clouds upon which the Son of man rides. Astronomical maps show the
Milky Way behind the constellation
Orion. From earth, they look like
clouds.
"Then I turned to see the voice that
was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, and in
the midst of the lampstands one like a
son of man, clothed with a long robe
and with a golden girdle round his
bosom; his head and his hair were
white as white wool, white as snow; his eyes were like a flame of fire, his
feet were like burnished bronze,
refined as in a furnace, and his voice
was like the sound of many waters; in
his right hand he held seven stars,
from his mouth issued a sharp two- edged sword, and his face was like the
sun shining in full strength." - Rev.
1:12-20
"And I looked, and behold a white
cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like
unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand
a sharp sickle." - Rev. 14:14-20
Orion, as seen in human form, has his
right hand holding a sickle or a club.
His left hand could be holding an
animal skin, a shield or a bow. The Milky Way is behind him. The arc
above him represents the Sun’s path.
The line going through his waist is the
celestial equator which runs parallel to
earth’s equator.
"As they were gathering in Galilee, Jesus said to them, 'The Son of man is
to be delivered into the hands of men,
and they will kill him, and he will be
raised on the third day.' And they
were greatly distressed." - Matt.
17:22-23 When the sun goes below the equator
into the dark days, it is said to be
delivered to the enemy. While the
earth rotates, the stars appear to be
moving westerly until they dip below
the horizon. Three days later they reappear in the eastern horizon.[14]
..."'tell us if you are the Christ, the Son
of God.' Jesus said to him, 'You have
said so. But I tell you, hereafter you
will see the Son of man seated at the
right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.'" - Matt.
26:63-64
When facing North, Orion’s rising in
the East can be seen as rising from the
right. Orion appears at the right hand
of the Sun.

"And there shall be SIGNS in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the Earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the Earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man
coming in a cloud with power and great glory." (Luke 21:25-27)

There is nothing wrong with Astrology..even Jesus was cool with it. Job38:22: "Can you lead forth the
Maz'zaroth in their season, or can
you guide the Bear with its
children?"

obadiah777: BELIEVE IT OR NOT BUT THE KJV WAS AUTHORED AND COMPILED BY THE REAL ISRAELITES NOT THE FAKE ONES. THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO MANIPULATION IN ITS TRANSLATION. I HOPE YOU DONT THINK THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH OF TODAY AUTHORED IT ? IT WAS AUTHORED UNDER THE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE. THE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE WAS A BLACK ROMAN EMPIRE BEFORE THE WHITE ROMAN EMPIRE TOOK CONTROL AGAIN AND USHERED IN THE EUROPEAN RENNAISANCE ( WHITEWASHING ) AND THEN STARTED KICKING OUT 'NEWER MANIPULATED VERSIONS'. THE HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE WAS USHERED IN BY A BLACK GENERAL NAMED SEPTEMIUS SEVERUS

KJV is a work of art but KJV cannot be used alone due to the amount of heavy interest and manipulation in it's translation. Comparing Greek and Hebrew texts with KJV at times shows glaring inconsistencies.

Optimisticgondy: Everyone is a Satanist by nature. I'm a Satanist (not the christian Satan that "MOGs" capitalise upon to scam their congregation) cos at times I live by Lavey philosophy one of which is "Do unto others as they do unto you". It's impossible for me to do unto others as I would want them do unto me; that'll be stupid of me.

To me what I did was not just a trick but a crime. As a secondary school boy consumed by the urge to drive before my time, I (alongside my cousin) attempted to drive one of our cars after popsy had gone out. We didn't pass the gate and the front (right hand side)of the car had been bashed already. Choiiiii. To make matters worse, it wasn't upto 2weeks before this time that the car was repainted after an initial accident. Hmmmmm.
Telling 'Papa' wasnt an option.....it was equal to suicide. Fixing the car was a better idea in our sight and believe it or not, we did. The way money appeared was miraculous. I just knw we coughed out the money...with offerings from our neighbor dat initially opened the gate n concerned friends in d hood. As God would have it, my parents went for evening church service giving us enough time to complete or mischief. More importantly, the fact that car paint was new was a blessing cos by the time we were through, the difference wasn't obvious. Incidentally, the panel-beater/painter we got was d same guy that had worked on the car 2 weeks earlier. Of course, we had him to thank for his maximum cooperation.
Till today, this deed is stil unknown....or so I think. My dad in blessed memory must have found out when he transcended to the realm where nothing is hidden.
God bless his Soul.

anytime a visitor give us money, all f us usually have a save-(kolo), which we normally put d money,i form dis habit of not completely putting d money in, so anytime i feel like buying junks i will just pull d money up and spend without anybody knowing and these money are usually used to buy extra thing 4 us during xmas period, so when it was a day b4 mum would demand d "kolo", i broke mine intentionally and pretended not knowing anything has happened,so d D-day, when we were all asked to bring our "kolo" i came back screaming dt d kolo had been broken by smbody else and d monies taken away, my mum beat all my siblings exept me with d notion dt they will confess. She didnt beat me because of dis adage "eni to nwa nkan nikan lara e mo"meaning its not possible 4 someone to steal his own thing, d4, i was exonerated, till today, dt was how d whole issue died.

My dad is a very strict man, "i mean he doesn't take nonsense frm anyone" he forbids us to speak pidgin English and to say "god punish you" One day after a fight wit my elder sister my dad came back home and got d news frm our youngest sista his "best child" he called I and my Sister as we were explaining wat led us to fighting we both mistakenly spoke pidgin English and dat doubled our punishment, my dad angrily went to get a very long cain as we ran into our room to double our skirt and my polo so dat even if he gives us 24lashes tongue**no shaking** but one day he caught us and changed our punishment to pick pin..only dose who served dis punishment knows how painful it is!
and more like pretending to have stomach ache to skip school and many more i can't remember.

Ah Good old days.

Pretending to have headache so as to avoid going to school and because i believed that a sick person would find it difficult to eat, I would refuse to eat but my mum would beg and force me to eat, i go dey chop the food small small till i finish am and then hide the pill she gave me under my tongue or in the sofa, the headache usually disappears after first period at school, by that time she no go say make i go school again that day.

Sneaking to watch movie with the volume at 0 in the mid night, na picture we go just dey look till we tire, kai small children sense grin

I sabi dodge church well well when i small, i always found a way to make sure i don't go, sometimes it worked and most times my mum would rather die than let me stay at home no matter how hard i tried.

One of my numerous crimes was inflating my Junior WAEC fee like a PDP senator. I remember I presented popsie a looooong list of things needed to register for the exam, with 65% of the items being things I 'kurukerely' filled in there.
Chineke nna, come and see format.

Dad: Son, number 14 says "handling charging". What exactly is that?

Me: It's the levy that takes care of the charges for the handling.

Dad: Handling of what?

Me: It handles the charges.

Dad: Charges based on what exactly?

Me: The overall handling, of course.

Dad: How?

Me: I mean the charges.

Dad: Of what?!

Me: The handling!!!
