[quote author=TooMuchStuff post=85095503]Buhari is a Fulani supremacist who want to be worshipped all across board. He sees no Igbos being relevant in his Fulani Nigeria. He doesn't believe Igbo as third ethnic majority of Nigeria. He's major job this time is to decimate Igbos down to ethnic minority status. But God would disgrace him as usual [ Kust we don't see Igbo coacroaches as anything,....Buhari is stronger than million of your ancestors, you can't do anything, mudfuckers. |

I've been trying to write on this topic for long, but due to time constraints as a result of my work schedule, I have to to push everything to this time. Though, this is my personal opinion, but I believe so many people share same sentiment with me when it comes to the attitude of our youth twards entrepreneurship. It is everyone's knowledge that Nigeria as a country is going through hard times as a result of its fledgling economy associated with bad leadership laced with massive corruption. Nigeria's population is increasing exponentially with diminishing infrastructural development and therefore plunging the country's future generation into perpetual poverty. It is evident that the country's institutions continue to churn out large number of graduates without hope of being gainfully employed. The gospel truth is that, there are no jobs because government can't create any now especially with the current state of its mono-economy. Government's ability to create job has been incapacitated by infrastructural decay caused by massuve economic downturn. So, what is the solution? The answer is private sector development. Yeah, private sector job creation is the only solution to the current job seeking quagmire our youths have found themeselves. Therefore, tailoring our youths' minds towards entrepreneurship is the only way forward. With the current entrepreneurial bug hitting the global economic landscape, it is high time our youths levarage on this opportunity with the help of internet technology to create meaningful jobs for themeselves. Surely, we'll affirm that some few serious Nigerian youths with great foresight have taken to this path already. The've leveraged on the ICT technology to create various start-ups that are currently making waves in the country. Howeve, million orhers are busy roaming about the street looking for government jobs. Others are wasting their time on frivolities like watching meaningless tv programmes, social media activities and internet scams. A recent case was the number of our youths engaged in the online voting of the BB Naija housemates that left so much to be desired. It has indicated a total lack of seriousness from our jobless youths who prefer time wasters to hard work. Instead of engaging on meaningful ventures that will better their lives, they were all wasting their precious times on frivolities. What we expected to be hearing about our youths is competition on launching start-ups, raising funds or exits. We want to hear about innovations, discoveries and other technological advancements. However, I will give kudos to many successful Nigerian youths who hava caved a niche for themselves in various fields of entrepreneurship. For instance, most successful fintech companies are driven by these impressive groups of our youths. Recently, some young entrepreneurs launched an intellectual social networking site site, www.proclapp.com to enable African intellectuals share knowledgeable contents throug questions and answers, articles and discussions and sharing of research papers and that's very impressive. The platforms' "coming soon" website has just been relsased while the apps will be coming out before the year runs out. These are the kinds of achievements we expected from Nigerian youths and not stories on scams, ponzi activities, hate speech and fake news peddling. I just hope that our youths learn very fast and divert their minds towards beneficial ventures to save their future. The truth is that, your destinies are in your hands, be wise.

Contrary to what was portrayed by the heading of this post, the soldiers did not posed with the dead bodies, but rather carrying out what the military termed as " after action assessment ". During such actions, troops are required to go round the battle area to carry out on the spot assessment especially to ascertain the exact number of casualties recorded before sending a situation report. In this instance, troops will ascertain the number KIA (killed in action) from both the enemy and the friendly side and also weapons and other equipment recovered or damaged during the engagement. This will constitute the contents of the situation report that will be sent to the higher headquarters. This information posted on this page is fake and has nothing to do with posing with dead bodies. Common sense alone should tell someone that this is not posing with dead bodies to seek for media attention. This is the handiwork of FAKE NEWS pedllers and probably hungry bloggers. It is also worrisome that viewers don't actually assess and study such post carefully before voicing their opinions. It is sad that nowadays even the so-called educated Nigerians falls for these cheap propagandas. |

Godwin978 I will candidly advice you to see the nearest dermatologist immediately. It may be that your skin is reacting to the previous cream you've used which is an allergy. Relying on self medication could be dangerous to your skin. However, seeing an expert in this field will help in getting the right cream to counter the effect of the previous one as you might be required to undergo some tests. For the other responders, it is uncivilized for someone seeking for a health solution to be given such negative responses. Health questions of this nature requires a good response from other user as negative responses will discourage the questionneer since he is just looking for help. |

Nigerians are actually becoming innovative of recent especially when it comes to tech entrepreneurship, contrary to some people's thinking that the country have been overtaken by smaller countries like Kenya and Uganda in terms tech entrepreneurial activities. However, there's this lukewarm attitude towards investing in start-ups across the country. It is glaring that some people don't believe that the only way to acquire financial emancipation, create jobs for our teeming unemployed youths and contribute to building the economy is through investing in entrepreneurship. So many articles have been written about the importance of supporting young entrepreneurs through investment however, some people are still skeptical about that. On our own part, we realised that the only way and means to reduce unemployment is through rebuilding the private sector to encourage and spur entrepreneurship. For instance, there's a knowledge based platform called domiit.com to be released soon which is touted to be game changer in the social media clime in the country. The founders called their start-up a "composite social intellectual community " designed to enable it's users perform the following tasks; 1. Ask questions and answer other user's questions too. 2. Write and post articles and reviews. 3. Post riddles and solutions. 4. Post published books for advertisement. 5. Post announcements to the public and create user groups. The platform will be based on user generated contents and as such, will rely on its users to generate the intellectual contents. The platform will also enable discussions amongst its user in the discussion thread to create an interactive and collaborative virtual community. The site is currently undergoing test now, we hoped that when the beta version is released it will deliver its promised services to the users. Consequently if the project becomes successful as the founders envisaged, the committee of friends to this initiative have all agreed to invest in the start-up to help in hacking initial growth and subsequent scalability. And that's exactly what most young, dynamic start-up in Nigeria requires, financial and moral support through investment to enable them scale. It is however worrisome that up till now most Nigerians are highly skeptical about investing in start-up, probably because of a larger perception that most start-ups failed at inception or will eventually fail after all. It is high time we disabuse our minds from these myopic thoughts, take risks and rebuild our fledgling economy by assisting young entrepreneurs through investment. |
