I've been a silent reader for awhile now. Found out about this thread after I submitted my application on Aug 31th. I'll say reading peoples profile (most who were delayed/denied and few approved) while comparing it to mine, in all honest I feel I stand no chance. That's just a feeling and no matter how much I try to let it go and remain confident, I can't help it. Although people close to me are very confident and I wish I could say the same too. But anyway, I will keep believing in God because from my observations it seems getting an approval is only by his grace.
You/we can't be hopeful with a drop of negativity, Leave God to handle your application and grant you/us favour, comparison doesn't work with God sir!!!
May God do it for the rest of we hopefuls!!!

Hey,
I think you should get a back dated job offer letter from a company and also a recommendation letter from same company claiming employment.

Pls no one have answer my request
It depends!
If you were given a conditional acceptance letter then definitely you can go ahead and follow the instructions on the certain amount to be paid(to meet the condition(*full admission /secure a seat) b4 visa application) meaning were you required by the school to pay? If Yes, go ahead
Some schools donot accept tuition until resumption so you should direct your questions to your school again and also if you'll get a refund if the good doesn't happen
Goodluck

I just finished my national diploma in animal health and production technology with 3.69 out of 4.00 and I would like to study veterinary medicine in Canada. I wanna ask if my national diploma diploma will be considered and be allowed to put in for vet medicine bcoz I heard one has to do undergraduate before he can be allowed to do vet. so will they take my ND as the undergraduate
Hello sir
You should check the various schools and their requirements for admission, Some might require O'level only or with some level of advancement or not open to international students SO, better still, mail their international students department and make your enquiry because nobody here can ascertain your admission to a particular course except the schools but check these: PS (cost friendly i know of)

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I started following this thread a few months back and really appreciate the effort to have put a golden sphere like this together over the years. However like many other people following this thread, I also need help.

I got a mail from fanshawe College, London, Ontario that I'm admissible to the program I applied for (Building information modelling) but I need to pay a refundable deposit of tuition of $2,300 before the admission letter can be issued. Please house, should I go ahead and pay the deposit?

My other concern is regarding the funding for this program. I intend to sell my nearly completed house and car which will raise me around $11k out of $16k Tuition, not including accommodation, feeding and flight...is it a wise decision to sell those stuffs as I'm sponsoring myself. Also, Hope the visa office won't tackle me with such amount in my account?

Guys please help me evaluate my chances, and advice me further!
Thanks in advance guys!
Good morning boss,
Haba..... Haba again, you want to sell so much property and still act as main sponsor... Kilode?
*i doubt if you've been following this thread because people in the same school were mandated to pay the same tuition deposit to secure their space and admission to get an unconditional admission letter for visa application, best bet is you inquire if its refundable upon visa denial if you have doubts (we all do)
* All of these property sales, how long is your intended stay? If they are your only property why sell them? Why not raise more funds, loans, source help from family members? Adding your properties will serve as home ties but not totally but then it's your decision
*if you still choose to be the main sponsor you will need Tuition+10K cad which is compulsory for the number of years you intend to stay
Best bet is you look for someone to really sponsor you, you alone may or may not fly
Imho, try and save more because from the post you gave, you haven't acquired enough funds
Then page 0 of this thread might also help you prepare well,
(just my little piece of advice i also gained over time from this forum)
Goodluck sir

May God do it for the rest of we hopefuls

Hey guys, checking in to say I've landed and settled down in my flat. This country is beautiful - fresh air, greenery and flowers everywhere.

Please o, before you stand in front of the Border Agency people, comot sleep for your eye - you know how the journey can be long plus my flight was delayed on top of 7 hrs layover. I have funding from my school yet when they asked me for proof of payment, I heard myself telling long story of how banks are closed because of public holiday in Nigeria. I was just blabbing. I declared foodstuff but when they asked me what it was, I could not remember! I stared at the guy for a very long time before blurting out "Millet"
"What is millet?" The guy had to turn to his colleagues and ask, "Have you ever heard of millet before?" "Do you mean cassava?"
"It's in the corn family."
"OK, sit down over there and wait for your passport"

Anyway, be ready for contradictions; My landlady was confident enough to leave my house key under the mat yet our garbage bin was stolen.

Please resist the urge to be crossing road sharperly. (iwas seriously tempted until one speeding car came out from nowhere.) PedXings and traffic lights are for your safety.

Wishing everyone well on their way here.
Thank God for journey mercies,
That is mean peh we better start looking up English names of our Nigerian foods niyen ooh grin
May God do it for the rest of we hopefuls

I'm trying to say it doesn't tally at all its totally different and apart... I really don't know how else to develop an SOP
Honestly you should be willing to draft if its your passion and give an experienced guru to proof read and give you ideas, but if it won't work then you should rather get a new Admission related course to your previous study or work
Play your path, I'm a 'hopefuls' too joor, i wan sip coffee ask gurus
Forgive my grammar grin

I'm a sophomore student in university of Ibadan dept. Of classics... But I put in for social work diploma
Don't know much, aint no guru
like I said if it tallies very good but if it doesnt you'll still require an authentic SOP showing your driven passion to that field for your Visa application
Take care!

I put in for social work(immigrants and refugees) so can this actually be the problem
If it doesn't tally with your previous course of study or recent activities or employment and doesn't show progression and this can only be tackled by a well detailed SOP which should be crosschecked by experienced people.....
Good luck

Good morning great ppl. Please at this point am feeling more curious angryseeing different approvals and delays especially to those i applied before. I am thinking of sending CIC a reminder that i have not gotten any updates after my biometric been completed as at june 7th considering school resumption which is sept 5th. please i need suggestions on this and also for their email addresses so i can send a reminder mail. thanks
Processing time hasn't elapsed yet !! It's not 14weeks, i think correspondence with CIC should only be when your application has reached the stipulated time and you still didn't get updates..... (but due to your resumption being close already you can proceed if its please you)
I might be wrong!
Have a good day
