My husband has an immigrant visa petition process ongoing and our priority date is very near (Dec) precisely, but we have been in the us for 3months now but the 6mnths grace will elapse by Oct.....should we stay till december for our priority date..or what do we do?

Hi everyone...pls help out on this.......my visa is in a passport that would expire in three months, tho I intend to spend more than 3months in the US, I already done a new one but I booked my ticket with the soon to expire one. Would that pose a problem since the one I I used at my visa in it has a cancelled stamp on it.
Secondly how much should a family of 4 have as bta?

Do i need a letter of invitation becos presently we dont know any one? We have all never travelled before what are our chances? My husband is a civil servant and we run a registeared biz, i am a stay at home mom who just got an appointment letter for a dream job, how much should we have in our account and what are our chances?
