HateU2: I doubt that maybe u are jst being withdrawn abt ur features. I like ur viewpoint, it pays for a female to be independent not a leech waiting for her fiancé always for financial aid. But u shld be aware of the age factor, thou. |
![]() |
HateU2:your response abt marraige is not that of a typical 'naija' girl. Are u that sexy for a lecturer to make such a proposal to you? Between, So the issue of lecturers sleeping with students still occurs, I thought such episodes only happened in the past, well, I am elated ur will triumphed at last. |
![]() |
HateU2:I don't like such style, it easily saps one's power. Try and replace it with anything else, because most men frown at such position. |
![]() |
HateU2:it is at the mechanic site, all right, since u are keen to retorting questions; when will u get married? how many times have u carried a course over? and did u ever sort out any course? P.S, Pls, be sincere. No hard feelings. |
![]() |
HateU2:Really, you are not actually fed up by the intrigue questions thrown at you esp. targeted at your ego. I think you are somehow uneasy abt the situation bt still keeping a calm head just to save face. |
![]() |
HateU2:that means you didn't comprehend my statement not even the pronouns or adverbs? Well, I mean the thread is no longer useful so should be closed by mods. The last statement was borne out of dereliction. |

such steps must be taken to ensure pragmatic welfare and welbeing of the returnees for reassurance of safety and hope, so that there will be no room for desolation. And the NA should not rescind their position on the war against those sanctimonious infidels called boko harams. |

Rukkydelta:You are welcome, how is your studies? |

I make vociferation to those mods appropriate to this section to do their apt onus by stymieing this thread, in view of the fact that, it has outlived its perquisite. On behalf of the mods, the thread has been closed. |

Rukkydelta: I am from the south, I am well knowledgeable about various physique of individuals there, esp, the 'riverine-area' people who are very short. and for the record, I am above 6ft tall and almost above most people I come across. Try and curtail your obsession for height, because in Nigeria, most people are below average height (5'10ft). |
![]() |
Rukkydelta: why do you want to grow taller? 5ft6 is acceptable for a female, 6ft is considered too much for a girl in Nigeria, having in mind that, short men might feel inferior and intimidated by your height, you will easily tower above most people you encounter as people in your region are not that tall. |

Goldmaxx:well, there is nothing wrong in having any relationship with a female older than you, and not excluding sex, Try not to hurt her feelings since she trusts you, look for a favourable moment to let her know your mind or wait for things to play out by themselves. If I were you I would likely go for the latter. |

I find it hard to believe this story, because it appears more like make-believe. You didn't give any cogent or enough details about the relationship and the topic of the thread is also awry. 1 Like |

RIP to the dead, I also lost my father in death too, close to the middle of this year it was very hard to conceive and nt a pleasant experience at all. May God bless my departed father and pardon his misdeeds. |

Iyoma2:Now I understand where your abhorrence for the pre-eminent egghead came in as a result of your vertiginous dearth in grammar, little wonder your post is filled with discountenanced boo-boos. As a resident of south south, I can plainly opine that Obiahiagbon made colossal impacts and inputs to the peoples of Oredo that metamorphosed their life and wellbeing to an elephantine extent. next time before you post, always excercise discretion and caution. |

The allegations levied against amaechi need to be taken into consideration for the virtue of democracy and protection of the rule of law, that said, the pdp should hav taken legal proceedings against him for the purported charges for good judgement in the court for justice to prevail. and for the poster that said, too much of anything is bad, in allusion with corruption deserves a good check-up in any psychological clinic. According to my people, if oil touches one finger it will rub/soil the other fingers, so, discretion needs to be taken in handling intricate issues like this being Amaechi a fanatical adherent of Buhari(by spending hundred millions on his campaign) to avoid mistrust, and should not be against the survival or the performance of democracy Pdp as being the propagator of corruption based on their shady, cunning and devious dealings orchestrated to purloin the profound resources of Nigeria to a scanty state, makes it ludicrous of them to point accusing fingers to perceived and probable thieves that might have rescinded their vows and left their camp. Maybe another version of 'witchhunting' lol. |

life is vain! Being buried in a gold casket or wearing a damask before burial will not restore her life or follow her to afterlife, all earthly apparatuses and objects end here and never transit to that place. as an elderly woman tagged to be cultured she ought to have known better than buying materials for her burial rather than being steadfast to virtue and good deeds known to bring peace, delight and enjoyment to the dead. it gets my ire up whenever so-called intelligentsia behave with so much feeble-mindedness and slow-wittedness, and for her daughter to assert her mother's purchase of the items make the matter worse. Shalom aleichem, tho. |

that is good news, esp. When it pertains to constriction of depravity, bravo to the president for his hardiwork of making vacant the posts of loathsome individuals for employment solicitors. 5 Likes |

daxon001:let me take it upon myself to come to your aid since the recipient failed to do the needful. Number 1 is correct being that 'would rather' also means 'prefer' i.e 'I prefer you seek him yourself.' Number 2 is wrong because of its objection to grammar, it is; no sooner had he gone than I ate. Number 3 is very wrong, it is, he has become worse than before or his condition is now worse. Number 4. Is slightly wrong because of incomplete comparison, it shld be, what is the most correct way to dispose off your refuse. |

shiizzy:Some dumb kids are fast to throw a tantrum, hence, being insulting and defamatory to other person. It should be it is or it's not 'its' And also it is 'birds of a feather flock together.' I assume you take my elucidation of ur errata in good faith by being beholden instead of indignant. |

I lost my father on the 11 of monday night, may 2015, it came very unexpected because I thought although my father was hospitalized, he would soon recover, because I didn't see the gravity of his condition, I downplayed everything mostly because I had jocular attitude to things and my exams were fast approaching, I was preparing very hard so that my father's money he used to pay my academic fees i.e tuition fees, remittance fees and other many fees included. Would not waste, I had high hopes in myself and I knew my father had hope in me too, in order to make such hope come true I was glued with my books reading hard for the d-day(tuesday,11,may) when the loathsome and revolting information came to me that my father was dead, I was surprised and in a shock, thinking of what I heard. I preluded into an open-mouthed and unhappy silence for hours, with several thoughts running in my mind about, if I was in drugs?, Am I dreaming?, am I in a hallucination?, or having mental issues? or is my hearing worse than I thought, or I am having hearing/aural defects? And many more which were going on in my mind, even my mother that relayed the unpleasant information to me was already rolling on the floor wailing, crying and shouting about how my father life was cut short and how he just died soon without enjoying the fruits and rewards of what he laboured for day and night without rest, and it was very true, my father suffered a lot without rest in order for us to live well and provided for our needs, he took our academic needs seriously and was always there for us all the time, even though he was not that rich. he was a farmer and also worked as a civil servant in a general hospital before working in a bank after retirement in order to cater for us and put food on the table, he always had been labouring and working tirelessly right from childhood, he walked more than 40km to farm, he bore the responsibility of taking care of her mother(my grand mother) always especially when she was sick, he walked more than 70km from Auchi to far etsako east to collect medicine for her ailing mother during 60s and 70s, he even wanted to join the army bt didn't join because of his mother's(my grand mum)condition. his farms were one of the biggest, after daily civil servant duty he usually visited the farm to work leaving no time for rest in an attempt to provide for the family, my father was the perfect example of being over hardworking, even my mother complained most times because of his tight and busy work schedules. He was the one most of our family members ran to for help because of his loving, tender-minded, and polite reputation, he was always around when his brothers travelled out and took care of everyone around him, including his father. one of the things that pains me most is that despite his mountainous and enormous toils, labour and hard work, he couldn't enjoy any of them because his life was cut short by death. yesterday (16,june,2015) was the funeral/obsequies and I am writing this today because I felt a little relief of the upheaval and anguish my father's death brought to me, although years may pass but my father death has left a big void in me that is not yet to be filled even in the distant future, all that being said, I still miss my father! I wish and long to see him again! 5 Likes 1 Share |

searay: you are the real and probable definition of an illiterate, your malapropism made it overt without any iota of doubt having access to the internet does not denote that you have to cast aspersion on one's character, in which fundamentally you wld quaver at his sight. |

I have observed that even the original poster is unruly, with the meagre and shoddy arrangement of his write-up, it is not impalpable to know that he passed through thesame procedure to attain his objective. |

People that are asserting that 'Sometime can't stand alone without ago,' are very wrong, in view of the fact that, sometime can not only be used as an adverb but an adjective, i.e mr abu was sometime a jamb candidate. as an adverb, i.e you need to see me sometime before december. Are all correct examples of 'sometime' without 'ago.' the original poster was right with its application and expostulation of sometime. I hereby adjure anybody with such falsehood of grammar should jettison it for good. 1 Like |
