Hello, Considering applying for an MEng program. I noticed all MEng programs are 1 year. CIC says 2 years up qualifies you for 3 year PG work permit and 1 year qualifies you for 1 year. What are the prospects of getting PR with a 1 year MEng. As regards not applying for MSc, you know how much of a long thing that is, getting supervisor etc and most are full. Kindly advise, Thank you. |

[b]Thinking of getting a Neteller card to use in the uk. I must pick between pounds and dollar card. Which is advisable I know with a pound card I can withdraw and do other things with it over there, but my issue is how do I keep funding it, where do I get the pounds to put in. On the other hand having a neteller dollar card, I can always seek funding one way. Can I now use this Neteller card to withdraw from uk atms, will the rates be favourable, Please any advise would be helpful. Thanks |

bdavis: I am a current account user |

tosinjay: They do. But it must be from Standard Chartered. If you have someone working in a Multinational or United Nations, World Bank etc that can reference you and doesn't use the account for salary then no wahala. but the process na die. They stopped foreign transactions with their card since the beginning of this year and just resumed. There is no point opening account and then the rate going up. Same as what happened with me in Stanbic. Basically they tell you to open a Dollar Dorm Account. |

tosinjay: You got to have references from account users and it must not be from people using it as a salary account. They too get issue sha. It takes about 15 to 20 working days to get get everything down to cheque book. The bank it mostly for multinational and foreign staff so their policy is very very stringent. Its about 50K minimum. |
