Politics / 2023 General Election by Musgidado(m): 10:25pm On Feb 20, 2023
Traditionally PDP got 75% of votes in SOUTH EAST in 2019, to what extent can Atiku Abubakar be guarantee the same rate in 2023 general election?
Politics / Let Tinubu Be.... by Musgidado(m): 9:08am On Jun 12, 2022
I don’t know why those from South-east and South-south where Tinubu did not rule as governor are those that abuse Tinubu most whenever his name is been mentioned. Some of them couldn’t even remember their governors between 1999-2007 again but Tinubu’s name always ring bell in their ears.

Tinubu’s immunity expired in 2007 and PDP left govt in 2015. Tinubu was without immunity for good 8 years under PDP, yet, Obasanjo,Yardua and Jonathan had nothing to rope him in as a criminal. Even Nuhu Ribadu did not probe him under Obasanjo. Three (3) EFCC chairmen (Ribadu, Farida Waziri and Lamorde) couldn’t trace anything incriminating against Tinubu between 2007 — 2015 but you want him probed now. Has he taken any contract from state or federal govt that he has not executed? Has anybody reported him for financial crime? You always refer to Tinubu’s companies as if he had no means of livelihood before becoming governor.

Tinubu was an Executive Director/board member of Mobil Oil Producing before he joined politics. Obasanjo and Atiku established private universities as sitting President and Vice President. Obasanjo established Presidential Library as a sitting President. Atiku sold shares of companies to himself as VP and Chairman of Privatisation Council. Peter Obi took state money to support family business as Governor of Anambra. Yet, these people are your heroes. When other former governors were busy shipping their states resources abroad & developing foreign economies, Tinubu was busy establishing his businesses in Nigeria. Those companies are employing several hundreds of bread winners in Nigeria.

He met Lagos IGR at about N600m per month and he left it at N12 – 14bn per month. When Obasanjo seized Lagos allocations despite Supreme Court judgement against Obasanjo, Tinubu was paying salaries and pensions regularly for three and half years that it lasted. It was Yardua that paid the allocation to Fasola’s govt. Tinubu used his initiative to create LASTMA and Obasanjo in his copy cat attitude moved ahead to create FERMA.

Those of you that always criticise Tinubu because of envious hate, when will you start criticising Ikpeazu who has not been paying salaries and pensions Abia with no single project to show in Abia. Why did you not say Tinubu was corrupt in 2011 when he supported Goodluck Jonathan? Did He not win Jonathan govt at code of conduct tribunal when he was charged? Tinubu this and Tinubu that as if he is your Governor or President. If you are abusing Tinubu because he is sponsoring APC, Is Atiku not using money to sponsor PDP and his Presidential project? Where is he also getting the money from? Where did he get all the dollars he spent during APC Presidential primary in 2014 and PDP presidential primary of 2018?

Tinubu is no longer a Governor and neither is he the President but he is your problem. When Tinubu was busy building his political structures since 2003 after PDP rigging in south-west, Where were you? When he gave Atiku his party to use for his Presidential project in 2006/2007, where were you? When he was busy building bridges across 6 geo political zones, where were you? In 2015, you all mocked when Ahmed Lawan and Gbajabiamila lost out the leadership of national assembly to Saraki and Dogara. He was not disturbed. He moved on till he was successful in 2019.

When he was bringing up Babachir Lawal and Boss Mustapha (former and current SGF) in ACN, where were you? When he was doing these, Bode George was calling him a local champion but now the local champion in his tenacity has built a national ruling party, you are envious. Tell us your governor that performed better than Tinubu. Your Peter Obi couldn’t build APGA in South-east. Instead, he defected to PDP to kill APGA.

Let Tinubu Be! He is not your problem!! Your past & present governors are your problem!!!

Politics / Re: Bode George: Mu’azu Fled Nigeria Day Before 2015 Presidential Poll by Musgidado(m): 8:03am On Nov 17, 2021
As I could observed the situation in 2015 within PDP, Jonathan is too meek and he doesn't understand politics well. He don't understand that as we have opposition party, likewise we have opposition people within their party.

Jonathan was obviously betrayed by his party members in 2015. Muazu left Nigeria a day to presidential election is not big as he gave opposition full audience.

I remembered a day when Fayose went to his residence in Abuja to discuss his preparation for Ekiti State governorship election.

At Muazu gate entrance, Fayose made to know that Muazu was not around. He left Muazu's house, on his way to his next destination. He saw Tinubu and his entourages were going into Muazu's house.

This enabled Fayose to ask his driver to get back and confirmed Tinubu's presence at Muazu's house. Fayose was totally disappointed of his National Chairman of his party.

Nigerian politicians are too selfish. - @ *Musgidado*

Crime / Why I Beat Female Lecturer To Stupor UNILORIN Student Spills by Musgidado(m): 10:12pm On Nov 15, 2021
Salaudeen Waliu, while speaking to University Campus Journalists, UCJ-Ilorin, claimed that “months before the last Thursday incident, he was arrested and locked up for two months, thereby warranting his inability to attend SIWES duties.”

He claimed to have gone to the office of the female lecturer to beg her to help wave the mandatory SIWES course which he missed due to unforeseen circumstances but was always met with negative responses.

According to him, he had gone to Lagos to meet a friend for the first time but was accused of being a thief and locked up by the police which led to his detention for two months.

The 400-level student noted as he went on to narrate his ugly Lagos incident to Mrs Zakariyau, claimed that she refused to give him some grace, saying he had no option but to join the next set which would result in an extra year.

He said on the fateful Thursday when he entered the lecturer’s office, she ordered him out of her office.

”I got angry, I don’t know what came over me, I started arguing and she told me to leave her office, I told her if I don’t leave, what is she going to do?

“She then threw a mug at me which injured me and I started beating her,” he added.

Salaudeen said the female lecturer did not fight back, so he went on to beat her and later dragged her out of her office to continue the beating.

”I dragged her out and she ran. I chased and kept beating her before people came. I tried to run but was later caught by the school security,” he stated.

He disclosed this while speaking from the security cell of the institution where he was locked up since he was returned from ‘F’ Divisional Police station, Tanke in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

What I thought APC wanted to do in this LG is that, the party wants to be in second position and this will give them full opportunity to challenge APGA at the tribunal.

He constructed roads, classrooms, renovated all the outdated local health center, rehabilitated water system of each local government. Get youths involved in his government.

He employed 4000 youths into classroom and employment came through modern method by undergoing assorted of screening exercise. No one is allowed to influence the appointment, first class graduate were honour during the exercise. Kwarans appreciated his style of got the qualify people into teaching work.

l the money for all the elections we had in Kwara during that period, starting from the by-election that brought in honourable Raheem Olawuyi (Ajuloopin) as rep member.

“I challenge anybody here to say who gave the party one penny apart from what I gave them. The money paid to party agents and leaders to mobilise voters was raised by me.I challenge anybody here to say that he gave logistic support to the party, I did it by the grace of God.

“I distributed 500 motorcycles, 20 vehicles and many of the beneficiaries are here,’’ Mr Mohammed said.

The minister also spoke about the controversial registration and revalidation exercise of the APC in the state, which he assured would be conducted again. He had earlier alleged that the exercise was marred by infractions in February.

Both Messrs Mohammed and AbdulRazaq have been at loggerheads after the All Progressives Congress (APC) coasted to victory in 2019.

The minister and some other pivotal members of the APC that played a major role in the ousting of the Saraki hegemony in the state have accused Governor AbdulRazaq of sidelining them in his administration of the state.

The governor, on the other hand, said he would not use state resources to reward party loyalty as allegedly expected by some APC members.

This rift was ,however, widened with the removal of Bashir Bolarinwa as caretaker chairman of the party in the state.

Mr Bolarinwa, loyal to the bloc opposed to the governor, was replaced with Abdullahi Samari, a development some see as an attempt by Mr AbdulRazaq to usurp the party structures in the state.

Both the spokespersons of Mr AbdulRazaq and Kwara APC secretariat, Rafiu Ajakaye and Tajudeen Aro respectively, could not immediately respond to enquiries seeking their reactions to the minister’s claims.

How lawmaker ’embezzled campaign funds’
Mr Mohammed alleged that a House of Representatives member, Abdulraheem Olawuyi, representing Ekiti/Irepodun/Isin/Oke-ero Federal Constituency, embezzled a N70 million campaign fund.

He alleged that during the re-run election in the constituency, the lawmaker could only account for N30 million out of the N100 million raised.

“They should explain what happened to the balance of N70 million that Ajulo kept and refused to give us during the election

I have to go to friends to raise another N150 million to prosecute that election, which we won,’’ he said

Kwara APC leaders wash dirty linens in public as Lai Mohammed accuses Governor AbdulRazaq of biting the fingers that fed him.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has accused Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of biting the fingers that fed him, citing how he singlehandedly sponsored the governor’s election in 2019.

Mr Mohammed, who hails from Kwara South, said this on Saturday in Ilorin at the inauguration of a new state secretariat of the party.

“By the grace of God, I single-handedly, with the support of friends, politicians and families, raised all the money for all the elections we had in Kwara during that period, starting from the by-election that brought in honourable Raheem Olawuyi (Ajuloopin) as rep member.

“I challenge anybody here to say who gave the party one penny apart from what I gave them. The money paid to party agents and leaders to mobilise voters was raised by me.I challenge anybody here to say that he gave logistic support to the party, I did it by the grace of God.

“They should explain what happened to the balance of N70 million that Ajulo kept and refused to give us during the election.

“I have to go to friends to raise another N150 million to prosecute that election, which we won,’’ he said.

The minister also refuted the allegations that himself diverted campaign funds to personal use.

He said if he had not deployed the funds he raised judiciously, the party would not have recorded its resounding success in the elections.

Rep denies “wild allegations”
However, Mr Olawuyi in a swift reaction said the minister’s “wild allegation amounted to a campaign of calumny and a well-orchestrated move to score cheap political points.”

Messrs Mohammed and Olawuyi are from the same federal constituency in Kwara South senatorial district.

Addressing a press conference on Sunday, the federal lawmaker said a North-central State governor reached out to him on personal ground to donate to the 2018 by-election and that when the minister got wind of the donation, he asked him to bring the money.

“However, I immediately contacted a few of our trusted party elders to intimate them of the development, but they counselled me against sending the money to the minister based on his antecedent with money.”

“Also, on my own, I personally gave Alhaji Lai Mohammed the sum of N32.5m, with the full knowledge of the former party chairman, Bashiru Bolarinwa, for election purposes; the minister and Bashir Bolarinwa cannot deny this except there is no conscience left.

“It will also interest the public to know that one senior Federal Government official told Governor AbdulRazaq who was then the candidate of our party that Lai Mohammed reached out to him and claimed that there was no money for the bye-election campaign in Kwara.

“The official whose name I won’t mention here spoke and pleaded with our governorship candidate (now the governor) and asked him to release N50 million to the minister, which was released but the money was never accounted for nor used for campaign purposes as envisaged.”

According to Mr Olawuyi, if anyone is to be accused of mismanaging the 2018 campaign fund, it should be Mr Mohammed whom he claimed was yet to give details of how the money was spent.

As part of factors that enable Kwarans disowned Saraki out of Kwara political arena, his puppet Fatai Ahmed was totally failed throughout of his administration.

Secondly Kwara people have matured enough than to allow a single head to direct them against their wish. Only people who dwell within Kwara state can testify to this, Saraki would have lose since 2007. At the period of Saraki, no one will be allowed to exercise his/her franchise. No election can be authenticated as free and Fair election in kwara state from 2003 till 2015. How do you want to know their political standing since you don't allow people to exercise their franchise.

In 2019 kwara people were politically matured, Saraki lose most of his political strikers to opposition party (APC).

Saraki didn't win a ward in the whole kwara state, the most free and fair election was observed in 2019. What does he want to use to convince people against this present administration

Just try to find the historical background of the man that contested against Saraki in the general election, he is novice in politics. Let me show you the merging:

- The Senate president, Bukola Saraki, has reportedly told people of Kwara to give President Muhammadu Buhari 90% votes
- In a trending video, the Senate president mistakenly urged the Kwara electorate to vote the president massively
- The video has been generating mixed reactions across the social media platforms
A video has surfaced where the Senate president, Bukola Saraki, urged the people of Kwara state to give 90 % of their votes to President Muhammadu Buhari.
NAN reports that the video was recorded in Ilorin on Thursday, February 14, the last day of electioneering campaign.
Saraki is the director-general of the campaign of the Peoples Democratic Party candidate Atiku Abubakar

It was not impossible that Saraki’s statement at the rally was a slip of the tongue, as a voice now corrected him to say ‘Atiku’.
The Senate president is fighting to retain his senate seat against the All Progressives Congress challenger, Ibrahim Oloriegbe. Oloriegbe has vowed to retire Saraki from politics.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that Bukola Saraki had come under attack again from the Kwara Central senatorial district candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ibrahim Oloriegbe, who vowed to unseat the senator.
Speaking at a press conference in Lagos, Oloriegbe said Saraki should not be allowed to return to the upper legislative chamber due to his lack of Islamic value which the Kwara people were known for.

*2019 PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE: NIGERIANS REACT AS Atiku SAYS HE WANTED TO ATTACK Buhari*
Nigerians have lambasted the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, for saying he wanted to attack President Buhari at the presidential debate on Saturday.
The former Vice President walked away from the debate venue on Saturday disappointed that President Buhari, who, according to him, he wanted to attack, failed to attend.
Part of Atiku’s statement had read, “After all, you cannot shave a man’s head in his absence. I do not believe in attacking a man who is NOT here to defend himself.”
Nigerians on Twitter found it hard to believe that Atiku only wanted to use the avenue to attack and not to tell them his plans for the country.
These are some of the numerous reactions that greeted Atiku’s decision, as obtained by DAILY POST:
*PETERAYABI*, “Are you there to attack or present your plans for Nigeria.”
*IMEODUN*, “Very unfortunate. Nigerians were eager to hear your plans and policies to improve the current situation for the ordinary Nigerian. Here was your opportunity.”
*NNAMOSSAI*, “If your intention is to “attack” the candidate, who will “defend” the Nigerian people? Your absence hasn’t helped that cause sir. Please get good advice.”
*TOLUCOLLINS*, “So the goal was to attack your opponent not to prove yourself to us # 2019Debate .”
*LXPLORERND*, “Sir, I believe that not the best decision to make, you could have use the opportunity to show us that all your energy is not just towards winning the election but and telling us what APC is not doing right but to showcase your good plan for us.”
*IFHERBI1995*, “Thank you for letting us know you this whole election is all about your RIVARLY with Mr. President. At least we know your true intentions.”
*ODEPIIPII*, “You don’t have to talk against PMB just tell your own story.”
*BUZUZU7*, “Spot on Onochie. Atiku should be addressing Nigerians and not Buhari.”
*TOSINCRAIG*, “It wasn’t about attacking one man, it was about talking to Nigerians and convincing us to vote for you. You simply disrespected the electorate. Shame!”
*P_CRIPTON*, “You that know, tell us what a debate is, a “Presidential” debate as it was supposed to be. Please remind the word in quotes.”
