It is 100% better to call someone an idiot, slowpoke, silly thing (based on a response in kind comment) than for anyone to insult a tribe or an ethnic group based on the actions of a few people. - BIG DIFFERENCE.

My happiness is that you cannot rise above such petty tribal insults because that is probably how you were brought up by your parents.

On the other hand I was made to understand that it is very wrong to abuse a tribe based on the actions of a few people.

I and i suppose  that your parents also brought you up calling themselves names like  idiot, slowpoke, silly thing (based on their little misunderstandings)  lipsrsealed  lipsrsealed

However, I have responded to fools like you that cannot finish a sentence without introducing insults.

Who bloody cares if you are ashamed of your tribe? I am not ashamed of my being Igbo and I respect every other tribe out there.

I have never insulted any tribe or ethnic group so you better stick that mirror of yours in your behind.

When faced with facts you turn around to make ridiculous allegations. You deserve to rot in hell for such spineless accusations.

Pa Afam, i know you may be dozens of years older than me but please try to act like a grown up sometimes and learn to always get so worked up like a grumpy old man

Both of them play the same type of music. Nneka recently released the concrete jungle with anticipated success like asa's first album albeit getting more media coverage. Both of them are eccentric and very African ladies. Who do we prefer between them?

See all these jobless people lamenting because Kobojunkie has found better thinks to do with his time rather than wasting time arguing endlessly about issues on Nairaland.

I have an helpful advice for you aloy emeka. Go get your self a better job than trying to feel important on Nairaland posting news items all your life here. The fact is NL is just a way of killing boredom and nothing more face it .

So don't go killing your self or starting useless threads because someone has moved on beyond NL.

Politics / Choose Your Own "alfa Sule" Political Characters by nacom2(f): 9:00pm On Feb 04, 2010

There was this new comedy music craze called " Alfa Sule"
It's in Yoruba language and it got me laughing my head out when i eventually saw the funny music video about characters that became frozen stiff when they tried to use their diabolic means to rescue the initial victim who was initial frozen when he picked up money.

Now this has given me an idea to nominate our own political characters for the nations stand still crisis with Umaru Yar'dua being the lead character.

Yar'adua, PDP, FEC, Mike Aondoakaa,Alfa sule, Awo jigini, David Mark,! Bankole no reply? that is to say wan ti gan paaa!!

It has been reliably reported that another crisis has again been started in sokoto,d northern part of nigeria after an argument between two individuals at one of d hospital. Channel TV has said that this has resulted to continual lost of lives and properties!

I think rumors and speculations may be worse than lies. And one thing i am sure of regards this thread is that its an outright lie as per the title "Another Crisis In Sokoto, Lost Of Lives And Properties Increases Per Mins! "

Channels Television has a history of jumping the gun when it comes to first authenticating their news and getting the facts right before going live to broadcast it. Channels reports crap a number of times just in a bid to look like nigeria's CNN.

@ Original Poster

I think you must have been smoking cow dung or something close to that. If not what else can explain your choice of words for this threads title "Another Crisis In Sokoto, Lost Of Lives And Properties Increases Per Mins! "  undecided  undecided  undecided

DatNiggaAk:

i was in Niger state over the weekend when i got about 15 txt messages from friends & family saying i should not eat food prepared by Hausa muslims as it might be poisoned. on sunday morning after a night of binge drinking and my head aching from an alcohol induced migraine, i was looking for food to eat and a cold coke but was scared to eat because all those selling on sunday morning where all mallams. i had to remain in trhat state until noon when a friend( a yoruba muslim with an ibo christain wife) got me something to eat.

this type of paranoia is not good for Nigeria. to make matters worse, when i got back to Abuja friends who went to church( i didn't attend silly, i had a bloody freaking hangover!! wink cool )told me that there pastors warned them against buying food from hausa muslims (imagine not patronising yahuza suya, shagalinku, and numerous unnamed suya mallams!!!) this is really not good for us.

as a people, all this incessant outbreak of violence in the north is getting too much.
it is getting to a stage where you minor issues that would normally have ended with a smile will now lead to violence,

Another dumb and senseless post from an ethnic /tibalist who is hell bent on causing a major ethnic crisis in Nigeria. Agreed that Nigeria is currently leaderless and directionless but must you also add more to the nations woes with your rubbish speculations and rumors .
