Use the previous medical report; they will advise you to go for another medical if required.
Okay, thank you.

Hello everyone, I am a second time applicant and in my first application using the old portal, my medical was updated. So, I recently applied using the new portal and all my data has been transferred to the new application except medical (which is expiring in the next 3 months). Am I to book a new medical appointment or upload the e medical via web form I used in the old portal?

It's not a red flag. Kindly do 10,000 cad GIC from the fund if you can.

After tuition and gic. Officer will have no concern about lump sum. And your application response time will be faster.

Please mention it atleast 5 times in your SOP that you've paid your fees . It's a keyword .
but if I should fund the GIC account, I will not be able to use the NSE route?

You don't have to be scared . Most Study Permit application gcms note comes out without pre-assessment note cos of batch processing by Chinook software used by ircc currently. They are doing away with the junior officers. Application gets processed in batches
on Chinook spreadsheet in 50-100 applications per page . So not having a pre-assessment note is not an issue.

If officer can't make decision instantly on your application due to bank statements confirmation, Loa confirmation, documents request etc. He will place your application on "review required" or "recommend interview " . He has 30 -60 days to get back to your file. The documents department will place the requested details on his/her action list after confirmation or your submission.

You will have to mail your visa office to remind them that your file recall is due if you didn't hear from ircc within 60days after the RR got updated.

Here is where paying tuition fee, doing gic, Mybankstatements ticket without lumpsum deposit comes to pay. From the testimonies on this thread, scholarship/funded applicants gets decision faster. Reason I decided to pay full tuition fee and additional 10,000CAD for living expenses. I got med request 10days after my file was re-opened with resubmission and PPR 10 days later. Total of 20 days. There's absolutely nothing the visa officer want to confirm from Bank again.
Hi Legacy, pls I need your advice on this. I have made my full tuition deposit, and I am planning of applying through NSE route. My sponsor is willing to deposit a lump sum amount ($30,000) into my account and he his backing it up with giftdeed. Is that a red flag?

Hello guys, I’m trying to pay tuition using the form A.

At first when trying to register, it was saying BVN not linked to Email.

I’ve been to the bank to complain, but now the error message I’m getting is “BVN is invalid”

Please how do I solve this
I am also facing almost the same challenge, after submitting my bvn it shows that OTP has been sent to my mail, meanwhile nothing was sent to my mail.

YES. Also include a sponsorship letter from your sponsor confirming this transfer.

Also do well to demonstrate your relationship with the sponsor.

Thank you for your response.

Good morning guys, how are y’all doing today? So, my Gcms note has arrived and the only refusal ground for the application was

*Pursuant to paragraph 220 (a) of the IRPA, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources, without working in Canada, to pay the tuition fees for the course or program of studies that you intend to pursue.

Pls gurus in the house, I need your candid contributions. Thank you

Hello guys, trust you are all doing great. Please if I am to re-apply, do I need to submit all the documents I submitted in my first application or I just submit and focus only on the necessary documents required for reasons of rejection?

Thank you

I am not a guru but I personally think this is easy if u have the school fees.I think if you can reapply and pay the school fees in full especially if it's a one year program, they will give you.If it's a two year program too nd u have d cash, then u can pay but if u dont have the cash,I think this will be a problem then.
u may also consider opening a GIC, cos I think they probably dont believe u have d funds but if u have d money to open a GIC account in addition to the school fees,it may be better cos it shows Financial commitment , if not give them another MBS of 1 year showing sufficient funds for ur living expenses either with u or sponsor but u must pay ur school fees mate.my 2 kobo

Thanks a lot, this is really helpful.

Hi everyone, my application got refused today and I would like to share my timeline at least I might get someone who will point out errors from my application and others can learn from it.
Applied for SP (27th April, 2021)
Biometrics got complete (6th May, 2021)
NSE request (7th May, 2021)
Medical passed and updated (26 July, 2021)
Ignored NSE request and I expected the normal channel to proceed. No update even after 80 days, Review of additional documents still shows “we need additional documents to continue processing ur app.” (Image attached below). Unknowingly to me, I could still upload NSE documents request (I overlooked). Fast forward to 14th of August, I decided to do testing microphone with the NSE (I mistakenly uploaded a different documents in the Proof of Fund slot) still no up date on review of additional documents still shows “we need additional documents…..”

Finally, on Wednesday Eligibility review and background check all started, got a refusal same day.

List of documents I submitted are

Offer letter
LOE
WAEC result
Transcripts
Statement of result
NYSC certificate
Letter of employment
ID card
Letter of recommendation
Certificate of registration (ICAN) still a student
CV
Study leave
Letter of commendation and a picture of award from my place of work
Birth certificate
Police report

For proof of fund
Letter of sponsorship from my pop
Letter of engagement from his place of work
ID card
Deposit receipt of $5,000cad (it’s a year program)
6 months bank statement (N12m)
Sworn affidavits
Valuation report of a landed property (N38m)

Reason for refusal also attached below.

Still it’s a blessing for me to come across this platform, I hope you get to learn from my mistake(s).

Your amazing ideas are welcome, thank you

Naheem I'll advise you to order your GCMS notes to know more about the reason for rejection. But from the rejection letter it seems they believe your family members are accompanying you I hope you didn't say so on your IMM forms maybe it's a mistake on their part. Ultimately, their concerns are your financial capabilities so after you get your notes you can drop it here so gurus can explain it to you but meanwhile I'll advice you try to brush up on your finances and let them see that you can cater for yourself in Canada without having to work.
If and only if funds was the problem and you can validate that, after reading your notes here are steps you can take to prove you have enough funds to live and study in Canada:

1.Pay your first year tution in full and attach the receipts to your next app
2. Obtain a GIC and have funds from about 10k to 50k in there.
3. Show that you will have funds for subsequent years. You will explain this in your LOE and attach prove with it.
4. If you father is sponsoring you please he should write a detailed sponsorship letter elucidating how funds will be distributed. For example let's say you have siblings and he has other responsibilities. He should explain how much he is obligated to give them(school fees/upkeep) each year. How much on average he invests in his businesses. How much will the rest the family spend on expenses and emergencies for a year and how much he will give you per year and of course he'll add prove of where these funds will come from. Maybe he has 3 profit oriented buildings, treasury bills, investments. Be practical and put God I hope you get your visa on the next trial IJN
Thank you, I honestly appreciate this. I already made a tuition deposit and it’s a year program.

Sorry about the temporary delay, I am sure you will get it next time; some things to note:

* The testing microphone you did, as you stated in your message, might have harmed your application. What you should have done if you don't want to go through the NSE route was an official letter of explanation on why you don't want NSE and informing them officially to process through regular channels. Anyway, lessons learnt.

* Does the reasons stated in their refusal letter make any sense to you? If not, please apply for your GCMS notes to get a deeper view of the specific reasons for the visa immigration officer.

* Pending when your GCMS note arrives, you can do some internal housekeeping by booking and writing the IETLS that is if you don't have a test result yet and prepare to submit mybankstatement certificate in your next application. That will fasten your application in the aspect of NSE.

* Pay part of your tuition fee if you have not yet done so to address their concerns on tuition fee, and if you already did that, point their mistake to them in your next application with documentary proof (re-attaching the tuition receipts)

* Are you applying with your family? Consider applying alone and use your family as home ties.

You can await contributions from the gurus in the house.

All the best
Thank you Olasubomy, I appreciate your response.

*I thought as much, it could be the reason.

*I am doing that right away, any reliable and swift GCMS site recommendation pls?

* I will do just that

* I have paid a deposit of $5,000cad and I attached the receipt.

* I applied alone and it’s a year program.

Did you get a request? Just let them know that all exam dates within the deadline are fully booked already, and that they should proceed with the processing via the regular channel.

Yes Shupy, I got a request since 7th of May and I expected it to be processed through the normal route, still my review of Eligibility is under process and I recently noticed my review of additional documents says “We need additional documents to continue processing my application” as shown in the image below. So, I got an advice to upload mybankstatement certificate and an explanation letter just to let it clear the documents requested since I can still upload.

PPR dropped this morning at 6a.m
I have applied for tourist visas two times before. The first one was approved, I visited once and came back to Nigeria.
The second one which I submitted since last year April is still pending till now.

I applied for study permit 12th of April, 2021.
Ghost update once.
No update whatsoever. Eligibility requirement has still not started till now.
School resumes September 7 and I was scared I wont meet up, but all glory to God, I am sharing my good news that my PPR dropped this morning.
I am 23 years old and going for Alternative Dispute Resolution in Humber College

It has been a rollercoaster but I thank God for his intervention.

I would be willing to assist anyone who needs help with any questions. My email is always open.

Hello, Congratulations to you. May Canada Favour you. You said your review of Eligibility did not start even before you got your PPR. Does it mean applications are still going on even if the Review of Eligibility shows “Your application is in process”?
