Like I said , I was going about my business on Nairaland when I saw all the mentions. and behold I saw this fraudster ( Bosun/ BRABUS/N3XT) showing arrogance on how he did everything right.

Here is something we just found out after all the complaints from 2016 ish

Same house he built in 2015, we have changed the roof 3 times. He can confirm that from his new found friend Kaflex (Agent I met here on Nairaland who sold me the land without any headache) Very good guy.

-From the agreed quotation that Bosun sent me and which he posted online, he promised and quoted 0.55 Aluminum but guess what? he used the cheapest grade which was 0.33. we have changed the roof 3 times year to date. He did a very shabby job that the wood work had to be completely re-done otherwise we would continue to change the roofing sheets. So when I say Bosun cut corners, I know what am saying.

- I don't need any attention from anyone. I get lot of that on different platforms I belong. See... I know he will find a way to justify all these complaints and accusations I know him that well. but my main objective is to do future clients a favor. They will somehow stumble on all these reviews and will be able to make informed decision.

- Bosun doesn't owe me an apology. I just needed him to stop mentioning my name and gloating about my project otherwise I will continue to respond and some folks here will think we are trolling. I am not happy with his work.

Check out the comment above from Naijapal. Who was acting as a mediator between Brabus and some other people. You can see how he was using that handle (Naijapal) to repair his virtual image. By so doing, his next victims get confuse with all the accusations from past clients and the the praises coming from his other usernames. I hope you all got the drift.

Since then, you never showed up with proof or link to the issues you had with him, even though evidence showed that you were online daily thereafter.

While not holding brief for brabus, anything could have caused a floaded or sinking house. From poor job, to lack of knowledge of the terrain. Tell us exactly what happen. Pictures alone is not enough. Architectural drawing determines height of foundation. So if an architect for instance did a poor job of not finding out the level of possible flooding kevel in an area, the end result can be what you have overtime. There's an abandoned storey building in my village due to this reason. When I travel home, I'll post the pictures here too.

I don't understand why cement should be more than N2000 or not lesser though seeing as the clay limestone and even gypsum needed is gotten from the ground at no cost.
I watched the launching of the cement plant in ogun state several years ago and they said they couldn't exhaust the limestone there in the next 50 years. The clay they use is also dug on the land and they just use excavator and trucks to transfer them via a conveyor to the heating kiln where they are heated and ground together with addition of little additives like the gypsum to control setting.
I watched the documentary and I've often wondered why the product couldn't be much cheaper given the huge volume sold as compared to the overhead cost.

Kobocity was birthed on 29th December, 2020 when someone tried to derail this lovely thread; we went live on 1st January 2021. It's a community, we can all be proud of.
(naijapal is an account I, mank1234, created for the purpose of promoting the project). I excused myself from kobocity for few days in preparation for a possible shutdown of the platform.

I can announce that Kobocity will not be shutdown. It won't. The many thank you I have received this far is enough motivation to keep it running. I am motivated by the need to serve; my definition of success aligns with Ralph Waldo Emerson's definition of success. I want a platform where everyone is respected, and discussion flows without the usual rancor we experience here.

I did promise to make my position known after I do my own investigation.

Based on the information available in this thread and others I could referenced, I couldn't establish that n3xt defrauded anyone (however, in one instance, he recommended someone who did). In my opinion, his major undoing in most of the cases was accepting to refund the complainants when it's not his fault only to halt the refund.
Pertinent questions for his accusers:
*if you recommend someone to do a work for Mr A and the person fails to deliver, should you be saddled with the responsibility of refunding?
*if Mr A gives you the go ahead to do a job and he later decide he doesn't want it again, will you refund for a job already done?
*as someone posted earlier, which fraudster put all his personal information out there willingly and knowingly?


To n3xt, I don't believe that any contractor is fighting you. The issues you failed to nib in the bud is; It doesn't mean that other contractors don't have issues but probably they've learnt the act of conflict management/resolution. Anyone doing a search of your profile would reach the same conclusion as your accuser if the person doesn't read through correspondences.

You need to address the issues in the thread below:
1) why were there so many complaints and accusations of fraud/sharp practices against you by your clients? Where did you go wrong?
2) why you proceeded to draft a drawing that you won't signed? Provide evidence that the client asked you to proceed with a drawing that won't meet requirement for approval? State if the client was satisfactorily refunded for the unsigned drawing as agreed?

I saw collections of work poorly done (before 2016). Poor work can be as a result of contractor under quoting or too much profit markup(greed) or inexperinece etc. What do you think was the cause of the poor work?
I also saw allegation of theft of items from site (before 2016). This doesn't make sense since there was a store keeper. It's not the first to report a case to the police that is innocent. The store keeper can steal items and report the contractor to avoid suspicion.
Also, the collections of complaints by Egun... was at the instant of him(Next) mocking his building and thus expectedly bias.

There will always be conflict between clients and contractors, which can be well managed with communication and maturity.

Your doing this research at this time suggest that you or someone close to you had the intention of contracting him for a project, hence the frustration. I'll suggest you drop your anger and look elsewhere for another contractor, else whatever he does won't go down well with you.

I could count 13 ways DB at the minimum. It's always cool to have rooms for expansion in the future. So I did go for any between 15ways to 24ways single phase DB.
