I think anybody listening knew that PBAT was only speaking to a wall. He claimed to have inherited a dying economy, yet spends extravagantly. They don't have the interest of the masses at heart!

Nairaland / General / Becoming A Housekeeper In Nigeria: Steps And Salary Scale by Neachole(m): 10:35am On Oct 23, 2023
The demand for domestic help in Nigeria, including housekeepers, continues to rise as more households seek assistance in maintaining a neat and well organized living space. Becoming a housekeeper in Nigeria can be a rewarding career choice, offering you the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. We will explore, in this blogpost, the steps to becoming a housekeeper in Nigeria, along with its salary scale.

Housekeeper Job Duties
Before delving into the steps and salary scale, it's important to understand the housekeeper job description and duties. Housekeepers play a crucial role in ensuring that homes and spaces are clean, comfortable, and organized. Their primary responsibilities include:
1. Cleaning: Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning various parts of a home, including bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. This includes dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
2. Organization: Housekeepers organize and tidy up living spaces, ensuring that items are in their proper order.
3. Laundry: They may be tasked with washing, drying, and ironing clothes and linens, ensuring that everything is neat and well-maintained.
4. Grocery Shopping: Some housekeepers may be required to purchase groceries and supplies for the household.
5. Childcare: Housekeepers who work in households with children may also assist with childcare duties, such as supervising playtime and helping with homework.
Now that we have a proper knowledge of the housekeeper job description, let's explore the steps to becoming a housekeeper in Nigeria.

Steps to Becoming a Housekeeper in Nigeria
1. Obtain Relevant Skills
To become a successful housekeeper, it's crucial to have the necessary skills. This includes a good understanding of cleaning techniques, cleaning agents, organization, and time management. You can develop these skills by gaining experience in the field or through training programs.
2. Create a Resume
Craft a well-structured resume that highlights your skills and any relevant experience you may have. This will be your first step in presenting yourself as a qualified housekeeper to potential employers.
3. Search for Job Opportunities
Look for job openings in your area. You can find housekeeping positions in private households, hotels, resorts, and commercial establishments. Online job portals, social media platforms, and local newspapers are excellent resources for job listings.
4. Apply and Interview
Submit your resume and apply for housekeeping positions that match your skills and preferences. Prepare for interviews where you may be asked about your housekeeper job duties, experience, and your ability to work independently.
5. Build a Reputation
As you start your career as a housekeeper, focus on providing excellent service and building a positive reputation. Satisfied clients can lead to more job opportunities through word-of-mouth referrals.

Housekeeper Salary Scale in Nigeria
Housekeepers' salaries in Nigeria can vary depending on several factors, including location, employer, and experience. On average, housekeepers in Nigeria can earn between ₦30,000 to ₦80,000 per month. However, salaries may be higher in urban areas and for experienced housekeepers working in upscale establishments.
It's important to note that in addition to their basic salaries, some housekeepers may receive additional benefits such as accommodation, meals, and transportation allowances, which can significantly improve their overall compensation.

In conclusion, becoming a housekeeper in Nigeria involves a series of steps, including gaining the necessary skills, finding job opportunities, and building a positive reputation. While the salary scale may vary, the demand for housekeepers remains strong, making it a viable and rewarding domestic career choice in Nigeria.
If you're interested in a profession where your housekeeper job duties involve keeping spaces clean, organized, and comfortable, consider embarking on a career as a housekeeper in Nigeria. Your skills and dedication will not only provide you with a stable income but also make a positive impact on the lives of those you serve.

NinjaMetahuman:
Always do a factory reset after a major update..

Not a rule but it helps.
Very wrong! Rebooting is the go-to after major upgrade, and not a factory reset. In fact, after a major upgrade your phone is meant to automatically reboot on it's own, if it doesn't it'll ask you to reboot now or reboot at a later time.

Do not bother, A fa ctory reset will not take it back to the previous android version. What you can do is take it to a phone technician and tell them you wish to downgrade to android 11, they'll make it happen at a small price, all the best.

They sent me android 13

Still the same issue
I wish I didn't update it

Can't use xender

Will factory reset take me back to my precious Android 11 now?

Was able to assist a relative with the test today. They were just 20 questions and quite easy! Even though the site was nothing to write home about, we were able to finish at about 3pm Nigerian time.
Working for government is quite nice cos I'm certain those guys were paid handsomely to host that test online but ended up delivering a poor service
