I don't really have an issue withdrawing my application. But the issue is about getting my refund. According to the college if I withdraw my application before a decision is taken on my application it will be difficult to get my money back. They still have my documents because their rules state that until they resolve the issue with my Education provider, they will hold on to the decision. It's ok to ask questions anyway. It's all meant to address the situation. |

Hi guys, it's been a while. hope u guys remember me? i applied for a tier 4 visa in August 2012 and as of now i've not received any decision from the British High Commission. They've stopped replying my mails since October. My college has been on suspension since August and it's still not on the ukba lists of sponsors. Anytime i speak to the college I'm told the issue is still being sorted out.I have no idea what's going on. We are talking of 154 working days. I've taken UK and Ghana holidays out as well as weekends. it's very frustrating because i have all my original academic and professional certificates with the British High Commission. It's almost 8 months now. Any advice? |

You guys are well informed about uk immigration issues and I'm glad I found this site. It's so great. @pen I think I'm good. But where did u get the information that ukba and my college should have resolved the issue by now. It seems within this short period you've been able to bring out certain stuff that I didn't know about. You guys should continue with your good inputs. God will bless u all. That's the African spirit, sense of communal living and not individualism. We share our problems and everyone tries to help |

Folks! considering that my documents have been kept by the BHC for over 50 working days, what do you think the decision will be when the UKBA successfully resolve the issue with my college and they are reinstated? I'm asking this because i feel that if they had other reason's to refuse me aside the issues with my college they probably will have given my documents back to me long time ago. i submitted my application with all my documents stated in my CAS and also produced a bank statement for 28 working days making sure that it didn't fall below the 9000 pounds on any day. my statement spans from June 8 to July 23rd. I need your opinions guys... thank u |

They didn't say they are issuing a new CAS. They said they will update it to deal with the delay since it has affected those who were supposed to have enrolled in september. If they think there is some fraud involved why will the BHC keep my documents for that long? The truth is that the CAS i was issued stated that my latest joining date was 28th September. When i sent an email to the BHC, they replied that my application has been deferred for further checks. I think probably they are not allowed to inform me about the issue they are having with the college hence that response. |

@Penfold. i appreciate your straightforwardness. Well, level 7 diploma strategic management is a postgraduate diploma course. I opted for that course because my cousin is studying there. He secured a visa for the April intake, and he didn't have this problem whatsoever. |

Aldgate College London. As of the time i applied, the college's name was on the UKBA register of sponsors, but in the latter part of August their name was taken out of the register. I spoke to the college this afternoon and i was informed that theu have generated another CAS for students who were affected. i've been told that i'll receive an update of my CAS on friday and that information will be sent to the BHC. I'm not that desperate, but i hate the fact that they've had my documents for this long. |

It's always great to hear people sharing their success stories, while it's also difficult hearing people talk about their inability to secure their visa. I've learnt a lot from the wonderful people here. However, i also have my problem which i want to share. i've applied for a UK Tier 4 Visa since August 13, 2012 and as of now i've not received my decision yet. the last time i heard from the British High Commission in Ghana i was told they were still working on my application. Folks, we are talking about almost 50 working days and my status still reads, "My application has been forwarded to the BHC". I got in touch with my college and i was informed that they had an issue to resolve with the UKBA. I was however told that i should not be worried since it was not going to affect my application. The college informed me last thursday that they were going to update my CAS and send it to UKBA to cater for the delay. What do u guys think about my situation. Anyone with such an experience? |
