I PAID ONLINE THROUGH JUMIA PAY. THE ITEM IS A PHONE.

I CALLED WITHIN 24 HOURS AFTER RETURNING THE ITEM TO TELL THEM THAT IT GETS UNUSUALLY HOT WHEN DATA IS TURNED ON. THE CALL AGENTS FAILED TO CAPTURE THE PART OF WHEN DATA IS TURNED ON.

SINCE 1ST DEC WHEN I RETURNED IT, THE AGENTS HERE IN IBADAN DIDNT SEND THE PHONE TO LAGOS UNTIL 13TH DEC. WHEN I WENT TO THEIR OFFICE TO EXPRESS MY ANGER.

THE PHONE HAS AT LEAST FIVE DEFECTS:
1. When data is on, phone gets so hot!
2. The high "temperature" disrupts camera!
3. The battery doesn't last long!
4. The 1GB RAM was filled up in hours!
5. The torchlight is less powerful than a toddler's penis!
Your system has these points.

THEIR QC AGENTS IN LAGOS TESTED A DATA ENABLED PHONE BY "EXTENSIVELY PLAYING VIDEOS AND MOVIES" ONLY!

ON 21ST DEC., AFTER CALLING TO STATE THOSE FIVE POINTS, JUMIA CALLED TO TAKE MY BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS AND ASKED ME TO "REJECT THE ITEM ON ARRIVAL" BECAUSE IT WAS REDELIVERED TO IBADAN AGAIN (SINCE THEY DID A LAZY TEST).

ON 4TH JAN, 2018, I WENT TO THEIR IBADAN OFFICE TO REJECT THE ITEM, BUT THEY COULDN'T FIND IT. THE AGENT PROMISED TO ASSIST ME REJECT THE ITEM ONCE FOUND.

ON 6TH JAN, THE AGENT SENT ME THIS SMS: Good Day Sir, the phone had been returned since yesterday. Thank you.

TO DATE, JUMIA HAS THE PHONE AND MY MONEY AND HAS BEEN STALLING...

Jumia may enable you pay easily and deliver your item(s) BUT they have IMMENSE issues with return and refund.

I am a victim. I returned an item within 48 hours of delivery, on 1st December, 2017 and followed due process, however, Jumia is still treating the issue nonchalantly. The product has AT LEAST FIVE DEFECTS.

My experience has connected me with similar ex-customers who have been forced to keep the wrong items that were delivered to them in spite the efforts they made to return them and get refunded as PROMISED by Jumia.

There is more to this hell Jumia is putting me through.

I was shortlisted but I am extremely down. I can't even print the invitation letter, the exam is at 1pm. I hope I will be better before tomorrow. Also, I got to the Interview stage last year.

I was shortlisted for tomorrow, 21st Saturday's test...plz any ideas about access to current affairs questions for the AIG test? And thank you to those who offered opinions here

Now this is it! Last year (the maiden edition), 60 questions were asked to be answered in 1 hour. Questions centred on English, Government/Current Affairs (largely because the scholarship takes you to BSG to study Public Policy) and Mathematics. This was the situation last year:

First Stage- Aptitude Test at JKK, Lagos on the 19th of November.

Second Stage- Essay Assessment. Here, applicants were required to upload their CVs. AIG provided them with a CV template. They also wrote an essay (not more than 1500 words). Last year, the essay covered three questions and submission was virtual. You would be communicated appropriately. Last year, this stage came 10 days after the first stage.

Third Stage-Interview Stage. This was a face-to-face interview at the AIG HQ on 19 Gerrard Road, Ikoyi, Lagos where applicants met 5 men and women including Aig Imokhuede himself. After this, applicants submitted their documents. Performance in the interview was also dependent on applicants' performance in the essay assessment. Last year, this stage came about 10 days after the preceding stage.

Last year, notifications on interview performance were sent to applicants after 6 days.

Last year, 16 persons made it to the final interview stage, but 10 were selected and their details and documents sent to BSG, Oxford University which chose 6 persons, including a female and a Ghanaian. The initial plan was to select top 5 from both Nigeria and Ghana. I do not know why they chose 6.
